"This is a chain hotel owned by a Chinese italian. By the day we arrive, hotel Fillipo Roma was full and we were sent to Sky Roma, so good! The owner told me that they built it according to 4 star standard even though the official evaluation is 3star. This is the best hotel in our entire trip, worth the money and very well located! Metro station is just around the corner of line A, Rome's oldest gelato factory Giovanni Fassi is about 10mins walk away, savvy! Hotel facilities are really nice, bed is big and comfortable, manager is very warm and helpful, my husband fell sick the second night we arrive and we called the manager at 2:30am for help! He helped us with talking to the taxi driver and send us to the biggest hospital in Rome, reliable! They don't have a in hotel cantine so breakfast has been subcontracted to a cafe 5mins walk away including one choice of various drinks out coffee milk and juices plus one croissant, not too bad, after eating you can take the metro directly heading to almost every sightseeing point. Will come and stay here again!"

During our whole stay (in June) we had beautiful wheather which made it possible to have breakfast on the roof terrace every morning. Definitely recommended!"

Within easy walking distance to Roma Termini and all other attractions in Rome. Mr Walter is a very helpful man. We would recommend this guesthouse for anyone who has a budget and looks for value of money for a short stay."

" *Departing Rome hotel stay* After reading reviews of expensive taxi fares i decided to take public transport from rome city center termini station which was super easy. If you plan to stay at fco da vinci airport hotel before taking a flight the next day you can either take a €4 bus to fco airport or the train which i found easier €14 to fco which takes you to terminal 3 departures, then you just have to take the stairs downstairs to arrivals and follow the signs to hotel shuttle number 24. The shuttle is €6 which they record your name and charge to your hotel account. The hotel may have been a 4 star in its day but it would be a 3 star now entirely based on the condition of the hotel rooms and amenities for example: scratched chipped paint on walls, furniture and signage, stainless steel tap handle worn and rusted, smelly carpet on 3rd floor, broken gym equipment etc. The bar menu was reasonably priced for a hotel i suppose at €10 a salad (generous portion), €2.50 cappuccino, €7 wine, the dining restaurant is more expensive. Overall it was clean, safe and the staff were friendly, good for a quick stopover near the airport at an affordable cost. "

"My friend and I booked a superior cabin for three nights here to start our Italian adventure. At first we were worried about the location and getting to and from the city but it was relatively easy. There is a supermarket across the road, a tour desk inside the grounds, a ticket machine for bus/train tickets, but best of all for us, it was quiet in our part of the camp site and we loved sitting out on or little front deck after the craizness that is central Rome. The only very minor thing was the room layout. The shower is just a wet room that isn't inside a bathroom, so drying off and getting changed so I wasn't displaying all my private parts to my travelling companion was a bit tricky! Haha. We would definitely book here again. "
