"Sintra was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The hotel location is great. You can see the national palace from the hotel and the Quinta de Regaleria is a short wall away. But more importantly was the service we received especially from Andeas - so informative, always willing to answer all our questions. Very helpful and made us feel totally at home. It was a pleasure to see the staff communicate amongst themselves so that when one staff was away, the other knew what we required. Would highly recommend the hotel. "

"Sintra is not to be missed. It is a rare combination of natural and man made beauty. The Tivoli Sintra Hotel is located perfectly for travelers with and without a car--in the heart of the historic center, near cafes, restaurants, shops, and public transportation for those without cars. Ask before you drive to look for the hotel's garage as there are not spaces for all the hotel guests. The rooms are spacious for European standards with a desk, comfortable chairs, balcony, and king bed. Though not luxurious, the furnishings are adequate making the Tivoli Sintra a great value. The lobby makes good use of the fantastic view which includes castles and the palace. "

"Casa Da Pendoa provide a number of rooms, flats and suites in the town of Sintra itself, granting one an immersive and authentic experience in this small town. The flat we stayed in was a bijou one-bedroom apartment next to the tourist office, which came with a welcome bundle of wine, cheese, bread and biscuits - nice touch. The staff were unfailingly polite and efficient and ensured that we could find the location without any hassles at all. The flat itself was designed to a high standard and also had a spacious, peaceful garden to relax in. The location is in the town centre meaning one has easy access to sightseeing services and is close the train-station, cafes and restaurants. Recommended. "
