Real reviews for hotels
Sydney has some iconic features that should not be missed, but this is a working city and deserves a little time to discover the less well known spots as well as the tourist areas.
Haymarket is the Chinatown area for all things Asian. Hotel is close to all areas of sightseeing and attraction, walking or bus - very handy to everything.
Nice bustling city with crowds at all times. peak or non peak. May go further like surry hills for less crowds for café hopping.
Great city - always love going there for shopping, nightlife and attractions. A beautiful vibrant city for Families, couples and groups.
Very diverse, multicultural. Great restaurants and night life. Historic places still worth visiting. Close to other attractions eg The Blue Mountains and the northern beaches.
Harbour is beautiful, enjoy a lunch cruise around the harbour or climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge, so much to see & do around the harbour for shores
Fabulous city in most weathers. Beautiful harbour and beaches. Lots to do harbourside. Definitely take a ferry ride or two.
great sight seeing families, singles, couples, groups and business great shops, lots of attractions, beaches and plenty of things to do
We did a brief visit before heading off Cairns from Melbourne. The Torango zoo is a good place to spend 5-6 hours and specially by ferry to enjoy the Darling harbor view.
So many asians in Sydney. Not much interesting things to us because mostly like Central in Hong Kong.
I can see why Sydney is voted one of the best places to visit in the world. It's action packed or relaxing depending on what you want to do.
It's Sydney! Enough said, but no seriously, you cannot ask for more. Covered with outstanding beaches, night and city life.
It has everything to offer. It caters for everyone, just a matter of finding it. It can be expensive at times so be smart about it.
A nice place to stay but not to live in as it is an expensive city, particularly transport cost is high.
Spend more days there so you can visit at your own leisure, the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Fish Market, Darling Harbour, Bondi beach, Manly beach, Sydney eye tower and Queen Victoria Building.
Sydney is a magical vibrant clean charming enticing city ! The climate is appealing year round generally.
The public transport network is comprehensive. Staying at CBD area is a wise choice as the landmarks are easily accessible on foot.
Its the best city in the world with beautiful harbour, delightful ferries for transport, fabulous views.
Sydney is a beautiful and vibrant city especially during spring time what a wonderful feeling to experience 3 seasons in one day! One can explore the CBD in one day just by walking without getting tired and bored.
Blue Mountain is a must on a spring time day. I think going there during summer is out of the question.
Sydney has all the attractions nearby. Going around is easy. You don't have to travel hundreds of miles to go from one attraction to another.
this place is so good for relax, you can spend whole day at darling harbour and watch the sun set; but somethme you may meet some rude people who discriminate you are Chinese; i think it is better for lady do not go out alone at night, but most of the peopl are nice and good
Its a vibrant city they have everything in the city, luxurious brands, good food, nightlife, relaxing areas like beaches, nice parks etc.
A great place to visit ..... and we plan on visiting Sydney again for more than the five nights that we stayed.
There's something for everyone, it's clean and easy to get around on bus/subway. The free Circular Quay 555 bus is a plus--a great way to get the lay of the land at the beginning of the trip.
Sydney is a all-in-one package of a city. It includes culture, history, food, shopping, sightseeing, beaches, etc.
Plenty of tourist spot to explore. Hop on hop off bus packages are available. Best to see places on the view-deck of the bus.
it was not enough time to explore all of the city around 4 days. you need at least 6-7 Days to explore the single corner of the city.
Visit all the "must see" sites like the Opera House, The Rocks, Darling Harbour, take the ferry to Manly Beach, venture out to Bondi Beach, go out of the city to Hunter valley and enjoy the wine tasting, cheese and chocolate tasting, experience the kangaroos up close and personal, visit the koalas.
Sydney is beyond stunning beyond exquisite .. From my experience Sydney is worthy of a complete one stop destination holiday .
