"It's a wonderful hotel in Taiwan. Price, place location and room are excellent at Taipei. Hotel is located at Xiamen, which is a hot shopping area and hotel room is in the lower price around Taipei. We walk 1 minutes from mrt station to hotel. All item of living assessories are provided by the hotel even at small room and lower price. "

"Hotel is 2 minutes walk from subway station and it is located above the wanhua station (train). It is new and everything in good condition. bed really comfortable. The staffs are helpful, polite and funny. The toilet is quite small. My knees almost touched the door when i sit down. I think we got more than what we paid, considering this is a new 4 stars hotel in Taipei"

"Hotel was a few hundred meters away from Song Shan MRT, which was a little off from the busy parts of Taipei but not that far off. Wu fen pu, which is full of little shops with great bargains (mostly womens wear and accessories) was about 7 min walk away, and we escaped with some great buys. The hotel is also right opposite Rao he night market, which we loved, no crowd and it wasn't just (good) food. We managed to get clothes and toys and mobile phone accessories too. Apart from that hotel room was a good size, we booked a triple for Husband, Wife, 3 yo toddler and 10 mo infant. They provided a cot and a bathtub for the infant. Hotel is also really close by to baby boss and Taipei 101 by bus! So Google maps (with its public transport guide) was our Best Friend during our stay. Yong he soya bean was just opposite and the food was great. BBC cheese tart was also opposite and not bad as well!"

"I have to say I am in love with the big windows it has in all the rooms. As you may notice, a lot of the Taipei hotels do not have windows in their room yet this one you can enjoy a great view of the busy Taipei. Besides, they have an iPad that allows you to control everything in the room with an app. Though you don't see the usual smart/butt-washing toilet but you get the smart lighting in your shower area in return. All in all, it's a nicely designed hotel which is also a good value for money. An obvious choice in the Taipei Station area."

"Extraordinary architecture of the Hotel is worth capturing in your camera. Bathrooms are thoroughly clean with everything at right place with right condition. Also the room comes with Huge balcony which was gift to me. As I am smoker so was not able to get any Hotel in Taipei where smoking is allowed. Then found out that smoking is prohibited by law in Hotel rooms. So this balcony came as blessing in disguise."

"The hotel is located near the heart of Ximending, perfect for someone who is new to Taipei. Rooms are well maintained, clean and facilities are good. One of the shower tap is spoilt and they changed it the very next day even though we did not inform of the fault. The only con is the lack of a wardrobe but then again, for the cheap price, it is value for money. Breakfast voucher entitles you to a good sandwich & drinks of your choice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would definitely go back there again during our next trip."

"We were a party of five (family) wanting to experience celebrating new year in another country. We chose taipei and booked our holiday with Diary of Ximen. Stayed a total of 6 days & 5 nights in their family room. Since we were arriving at an irregular time and our flight back was just as irregular, we also arranged for airport pick-up service. Because of its location and price would highly recommend diary of ximen. They’re about 50m away from the Ximending pedestrian area and about 300m from Ximen station. They also have the most helpful staff. While conversing in english could be challenging in most of Taipei, hotel staff do the best they can to help. Special mention & thanks to Harry who was very pleasant to transact with and quite patient with all our inquiries. Their 24hr hot & cold drinks station is unique and quite helpful for tired tourists like us. One thing they can improve on is their breakfast fare. It could use a few more western items other than french fries and toast."
