Traveling to Thailand? Find Udon Thani hotels

I hand a good 2 day stay at the centara hotel in Udon Thani. Hotel was spotless, although ever so slightly dated. Pool area on 5th floor was small and pool was rather shallow (waist high), Also on same floor was a massage/spa area and gym. Live band was on both nights of my stay and bar area was fine. Next door is the most modern building.in Udon. The Central Plaza shopping complex. There are other hotels and rooms for rent closer to nightlife area. If I was to return to Udon, I would stay in one of those, but just because I like to try different places. So overall a good sray

We have stayed at the Brown House a few times now and keep coming back due to it's overall value. Prior to finding the Brown House, we have stayed in many of the hotels in Udon Thani city center. While not in downtown, it is a short Tuk Tuk drive away. We like the fact it is a bit further away because of the lack of noise. With what we believe is the best hotel pool in Udon Thani, it is a best bet for families with children. In addition, Nong Bua park is an easy 5 minute walk to the lake and has swings, slide, exercise equipment, etc dotted around the lake. Good breakfast and nice staff add to the overall experience.

Love everything about this boutique hotel. Great location in central city. Stayed with my wife, which we live in Northen Thailand and frequently stay in Udon Thani. This is our choice of hotels to stay in Udon Thani for many reasons. I'm American and my wife is Thai and can both find great selections of international cuisine. We are always looking forward to coming back to try different items on the menu. I grew up on some of the best pizza in the world, at least I think I did, the chef makes a pizza definitely worth coming back for. Comfortable rooms with good beds, not too hard and not too soft. It's not a Heavenly Bed but plenty comfortable. Nice clean pool and quite area. Never see too many kids around but kid friendly. Great value, you won't be disappoint at all for the price. A good thumbs UP!

In December I had a very pleasant stay for 4 days at the Pannarai Hotel in Udon Thani. This is a lovely hotel, clean, very comfortable rooms with great bathroom (maybe hot water in the wash basin could be considered?), in room safe, robes, comfortable bed, free water, plenty of TV channels for all. Breakfast is very good, wholesome and hot, with a good choice of Oriental and Western food. I had to do some laundry and this was quite cheap for a 4 star hotel, with everything returned smelling fresh and neatly folded. The price is very good value for money. Car parking is available on site. The rooms have very good double glazing, so even with some noisy bars nearby this does not disturb sleeping. Although I did not need it, they will organise a pick-up/drop-off at the airport! All in all a very nice trip, and I will definitely go back again when I am visiting Udon Thani.

we really enjoyed our stay here , the hotel is new and the rooms are all very modern . the service was great and handled every request perfectly . they even offer free pick-up and free transfer to the air port . the hotel has a really nice rooftop restaurant that has a great view of the river . the room had a nice flat screen tv , coffee/tea maker , hair dryer and everything was very very clean. the beds were very comfortable and pillows soft as well . if you are staying in udon thani this would be a perfect choice .

Our family lives in Khon Kaen, Thailand now, but for six years we lived in Udon Thani. We enjoy traveling back to see friends, go shopping, and to attend UTBC events. Whenever we travel there we stay at the B2 Udon Thani Boutique and Budget Hotel. The price is amazing for what you get. We love the presidential suite in which our daughters can have their own room, yet be connected...In the event we get two separate rooms, it is very safe and I feel that my teenage daughters are able to get their own room. We don't eat there, but I believe they have food. I love that the lobby bathroom has many stalls. It is not fancy by any means...but it is just perfect for our visits. The beds and pillows are wonderfully comfy and the closet space and surfaces are perfectly adequate. There is a small fridge and television. I actually enjoy the look of wood and gray painted walls...I am not sure what that is called as far as design but I think it is fun! We enjoy our stays!

Professional staffs, Clean, new rooms, location, price. I think they have 2 branches in Udon Thani and the other one is even better. I though the price was too cheap but when i looked closely to udon thani hotels are usually in a good condition with a very good price. Hope asian people dont make the price go up again because i think udon thani is famous for western old people to settle down after retire i was wondering why the prices are so low..

What made my stay the best was i never felt uncomfortable, as with anywhere in Thailand, every hotel as it's own uniqueness, but the Charoen is in a class all itself, there was not a need or want that they could not handle or take care of. The only thing that i feel would be of benefit would be a shuttle to certain parts of the city due to their locale, being in udon thani for the first time i was out late and had a difficult time finding the hotel after dark. All in all thumbs up! your a great staff and you do take the time from your daily duties to insure your guests recieve personalized service.

Quiet, clean well located hotel with secure parking (important for me as I have a van full of expensive gear). Breakfast OK as well! This is our go to hotel in Udon Thani.

This hotel is your best choice in Udon Thani town. It is very new and the rooms are nicely decorated. The location is right behind the Central Dep Store, and in the main nightlife area. Perfect stay for the value! I can always recommend and will also chose this hotel again.

We were extremely happy in this hotel there doesn't seem to be many good hotels in Udon Thani this is the exception The Breakfast were very Thai the same as all the hotels we have stayed in in this area The rooms were big and bright and clean we just loved the place and are still talking about it as one of our hi lights of this trip We were there for Son Krahn I am happy to have seen one son krahn but wouldn't go back for another one Unfortunately we had to vacate early my brothers family were 60km away and it was too difficult to get transport over the holiday period we moved into a dump about 5 km away from his village bangkok sohn

My first time in Udon Thani, I wasn't sure what to expect. After taking the taxi ride from the airport to the hotel, I was pleasantly reassured once I checked into my room at @Home. The staff was friendly and very helpful in answering my questions about the surrounding area. The hotel is situated in an area with many beer bars and cafés. You are also just steps away from the CentralPlaza mall, the NightMarket, a gym (YourFitness), and a co-working pace (SmartHub). Following suit with the other reviews, the cleanliness of my room was top-notch. Each day, housekeeping made the room look like new which was nice to come back to at nighttime. Definitely planning to stay here again if/when I visit Udon Thani!

Being a young a family it was important to stay at a hotel that was clean, friendly and fun and this hotel ticked all the boxes. Staff and security were super friendly and helpful, we really felt happy and comfortable at this location. The hotel rooms were very large, modern and clean. I've never stayed at hotel at this price with such a large, clean and organized hotel rooms. The swimming pool and water slides were great fun too. Buffet breakfast was a bargain at 120 baht all you can eat with a fantastic spread of delicious clean food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 9D sports hotel and will now only stay at this hotel when we visit Udon Thani. Thank you very much to the owners and staff for such a wonderful experience at your hotel. Hopefully see you again soon. 😊

From the moment we were driven into the hotel entrance, we could sense something special about this hotel in Udon Thani. The check in staff were very efficient and helpful, and the bell captain and his staff were fabulous. The room was very well appointed and had a good sized bathroom,seating, and a comfortable bed. There was ample hanging space and a security safe within the room. On the occasions that we required room service, the delivery was extremely fast. Transportation into the city was located at the front entrance, and there were many choices of small shops and market stalls within a minutes walk from the main hotel entrance gate. I would most certainly stay at the Ban Chiang Hotel on future trips to this wonderful city, and I would thoroughly recommend other people to stay here when visiting Udon Thani for business or pleasure. The photos of the hotel displayed on the Agoda website are accurate.

One of the nicest hotels that I have stayed in especially as it is a small independant. The room and bathroom are finished off and decorated beautifully and the bed and bedding is so comfy you dont want to get up in the morning. Excellent breakfast and what they have done with the roofspace is incredible, a lovely swimming pool complete with safe kiddies area, and the most gorgeous sitting area carpeted with astroturf and enclosed with lovely trees and fitted out with tables and chairs to enjoy a drink in the evenings while enjoying the views. We had booked for three nights but unfortunately had to leaveafter two nights becauseof work commitments, but I can say that I have no doubt if we return to Udon this is where we will stay.

The hotel seemed to be newly built, so facilities and furnishings are all brand new. It is definitely one of the most value-for-money hotel in Udon Thani, comes with breakfast as well. However, the downside is that this hotel is located away from the bustling side of the city and you definitely need to have your own transport to get to places as there wasn't any sign of a convenience store in the vicinity and it is located in right in the small alley of a rather rundown soi. If not, I would rate it 5 stars!

My wife and I stayed 2 nights and found the hotel centrally located and quite easy to find. There was plenty of parking space and the staff was very helpful. The hotel is new only 6 months old. There is not a pool or gym but a good restaurant. The menu is Thai not Western but the quality of the food was excellent and good value. The breakfast is adequate and well set up. Value for money this hotel is exceptional. Will stay here again when we visit Udon Thani again.

Have tried the nicer hotels in Udon Thani. Keep coming back to the SG. We've decided to stop experimenting with other Udon Thani hotels. SG will be our home in Udon.

Perfect place for a stop over in Udon Thani. We are returning customers and the Napalai always is our first choice because of the location that suits us the most. The staff always is friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We will defintely return the next time which will be this year in April.

This was a quick stay in Udon Thani before heading to Laos and thought I'd stay for a look round. The hotel was up to a good standard and can find no faults expect the reception staff could be a bit more friendly. The room I had was overlooking the road and on the Day Night Bar Plaza but was still very quiet. It had everything I needed and all worked fine. location was good and bars, restaurants, and malls all within easy walking distance. I can recommend staying at Top Mansions.

I booked this hotel for 2 rooms for 2 nights. The hotel is new and clean. There is free coffee/tea in the lobby. I got my rooms on the first floor of the hotel but I couldn't sleep well for a night due to very lound noise of some terrible guests wating and playing in front of the elevator around 2 am without any staff stopping them. It's such a nightmare ever. I was trying to call the reception in that time but no one picked up the phone. The location is quite far from the city center if you don't have your own car, forget about staying in this hotel because there is no public transportation passing by. Other than those points,this hotel is quite nice , new and provide free and fast wifi.

This place has met above my expectation for the price I booked at. Clean beds and facilities, with helpful staffs. Location is walkable to the central plaza (around10-15mins) with some restaurants on the way. Only minor flaw is that common area is not air conditioned and is in only space, though I guess it makes it more environmental friendly. All in all, would stay again if come back to Udon Thani

This hotel is about 15 km from Central Udon Thani, which suited us as we were seeing family nearby. I asked how much for a 6 p.m. checkout..... free !!!

Good hotel for the price. Nice rooms, friendly staff. Right on main road a few blocks from downtown, easy access to highways and the Shopping center. Biggest drawback is the bar next door with live music nightly until Midnight. If you want early nights, this may not be the place for you.

Our stay was very comfortable. It is close to the market which provided inexpensive and delicious suppers. Close to the big shopping centre. Easy to travel to and from Udon Thani. Many people speak English here.

I booked 1 room with extra person ,a 9 years old child. As i saw a hotel policies that specicified child can share bed with his parent for free of charge . When i came here they wanna charge me 200 baht for extra person included breakfast. But i told them in hotel policies that we can do without charge coz our child still 9 years old and i already wrote it. So they call me pay 80baht for child’S breakfast . That s time , i m so tired coz my route from bkk to ud so i m ok. Moreover eveything is fine . Big room and clean but has some toilet smell from pipe line . standard and good buffet breakfast .
