"There were no cons at all. After traveling from Sagres we stopped in Evora and then had plans to drive on to Merida the next day. Vila Vicosa was a perfect place to stop for the night. Although I really wished we could have stayed for at least another night. We had not realized that the palace was next door as well as so many other interesting sites in this clean and gorgeous town. The breakfast alone makes you want to stay longer. This was probably my favorite place to stay for the entire trip and we stayed at some really cool places. Highest recommendation! "
