The room is nice and modern style - as per captured in the photo ; location is great (but Ipoh is a small town anyway). Standard hotel of its star I would say. Service however is not that great - I checked in at 6 pm, and the receptionist said they were about to just finish getting my room ready (like whaat?official / standard check in time is at 3 pm?), n the bars seem to run out of everything, and their bartenders and conceirge seem they could benefit from customer service training.

The hotel surprisingly upgrade my room to Brewster Executive Suite from Brewster Studio. Room is super spacious with jacuzzi that can fits 2 person in the room. Well service from the front desk staff. Ordered in room dining but need to wait around 30-40 minutes. Nice view at the infinity pool and The Lawn. In addition, they have special lounge at Level 12 for all level 12 guest, that’s lovely and convenient. Anyhow, the choices not as much as the Ground floor lounge but it’s more than enough for us.

Concept by WEIL is a fantastic concept indeed, boutique within a hotel. Almost everything was perfect, the lounge on Level 12, the attentive service, snacks on minibar, comfy bed and the Concept itself. What could have been better is the cleanliness of the room. Dust was evident everywhere in the room eg once you draw the curtains and on the sink and wardrobe. For this price, you can never leave things for granted and make the hotel stand up above the rest. Regardless, it’s still a top hotel to consider while you are in Ipoh. 2nd time staying here and will be back again.
