Conrad Makkah was the perfect hotel to stay at during our visit to Mecca to do Umrah. First the rooms are so big, and the hotel is literally 5 minute walk away from being front of the Haram. Second the service they provide is perfect. Everyone morning after Fajar prayer we go to breakfast, and breakfast buffet is one of the best buffet i been to in long time. So many variety for you to try. Then the service every morning we had Noor hossen greet us, and find us a table. His service was one of the best i have received. He would make sure when we sat we had glass of water and any juice we perfer. He always made sure our table was clean by taking away dirty plate, and always was ready to serve us. I specially came looking for him every morning because of his service he provided to me and my family. He would listen and always provide us with excellent service. Lovely modern hotel”
t’s a very good stay for me. I have stayed in Hilton and Hyatt, all 3 hotels in Jabal Omar and Conrad stands out the best. What I like - 1) Modern design 2) Spacious layout 3) Very comfortable beds, not hardened pocketed spring type. It has layers of latex and thick foam. 4) Accessibility to Haram. Very near to the Umrah entrance. 5) Quiet and not rowdy. 6) Friendly, polite and professional hotel employees. Especially Mr Hossam at Reception for being attentive and understanding. 7) Breakfast is very delicious and has a good variety. What can be improved - 1) Cleanliness - Need to make sure that it’s thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. There were flies and mosquito in my room upon checked in but it was cleaned out immediately upon feedback. 2) Timely housekeeping - Please ensure the rooms are cleaned on time or upon request. On some days, my room was not cleaned until I requested it over the phone or after Asar prayers. If it’s too late close or closed to Maghrib, I will skip the cleaning and cleaned the room myself and get fresh towels to replace the used ones. 3) Undesirable WiFi speed - The hotel need to increase the wifi connectivity and it’s speed. It’s too slow for a reputable 5 star hotel. Even 3 stars hotels have better speed. It took me quite a while to even send an email from my laptop. 4) Auto Shut-off Aircond - I discovered the aircond will automatically shut off if it’s reached optimal temperature that’s set. Need to set it at 18 deg so that it will NOT auto shut off and this is annoying because the room will be too cold. Therefore, we need to adjust the setting manually every time it’s shut off automatically if set at a higher temperature example 22 deg and above. The hotel need to look at rectifying their aircond setting. Else, I will still give 5 stars for its comfort and accessibility. If the areas to be improved are rectified, no hotel in the area can compete them.

The location is great, not to far from Haram, consider closed one. The staff are very friendly. The rooms is awesome, very spacy and clean as well. One of the best of this hotel is the breakfast, its awesome, all kind of food from several continent are servicing freshly.. keep it up..
