Ko Kradan was excellent getaway”
I wasnt sure whether to go to koh ngai or kradan so i spent 2 nights at each. Kradan is nicer and coral garden looks like 1 of the best choices. -this resort was great as only 5 chalets all along the beach with trees shading the water -food was good but they were out of seafood one day -if you want to go May through offseason, you will spend a lot more on longtail boats, have less dining options, but have a much more private experience as there were only handfuls of people on the beach with exception of the 3 tour boats i saw in 3 days -May weather was very good but note you need to hire a longtail boat @ bht2k or so to get there as no ferries if offseason -a cheaper option might be to stay on mainland and do a boat tour as prices for food are considerably higher but it was nice being there -really enjoyed the food -there is nothing to do but snorkel and swim and go for short hike

Tony and Michael are awesome. Location is just by the beach, rooms are clean and nice and they have snorkeling masks, masks and vests for you for free. Highly recommend

Little gem - best on Koh Kradan”
We enjoyed a whole week at Coral Resort mid-April and booked a wooden Villa. With 2 Kids you have a side bed (free) and an extra-bed (with surcharge). Bring your Moskito net for the kids as this is not provided for them. We had a marvelous stay - the resort lies on the end of the beach and thus has much less day tourists. There are just a few wooden Villas directly in front of the water and 3 additional rooms besides the restaurant. If you look for a peaceful, hidden place with all the comfort needed (eventhough not luxuary) and you want to feel a bit like on a Robinson Crusoe Island that’s your pick! You can snorkel directly from the beach which is also doable with smaller kids, the water is incredibly clear and there‘s perfect shadow from trees hanging into the water. What made our stay perfect was the Italian Restaurant where you get incredibly good Italian food besides a great choice of Thai dishes! Toni (the Italian Manager) keeps service levels high! We will be back some day!!

We loved our stay at Coral Garden resort. The island of Koh Kradan is just so beautiful and the location of the resort is perfect, so close to the sea. The food, drinks and service was excellent! We loved our bungalow but would have liked our sheets changed more often. We hope to come back again in the future. Highly recommend!

Relaxing gem on a beautiful island”
Situated far up north on the beach, away from the ”crowds”. Nice and quiet place run by Italian Antonio and his friendly crew. Good snorkling on the reef 100 meters swim from the beach. Also good american breakfast that keeps you energized until lunch. I would love to come back some day.

Great room but disappointing service”
The room is quite big and comfortable. It is value for money when compare to others on Kradan island. However, staff is not much polite and not helpful. Difficult to contact the hotel, no answer for the questions. No boat service from the mainland to the hotel and also no suggestion from the hotel.

Too expensive....but expensive is relative I suppose. Nice place. Rooms directly behind the restaurant for $250 per night are just way over priced. Same goes for food.

Overpriced for what it is!”
PRICE - not worth the money, should be $150 p/n at best FOOD - pizza with canned mushrooms, parmigiana with canned tomato, followed by vomiting all night after eating; orders almost always mixed up; cocktails no good - prosciutto on toasted bread - good VILLA - shower (squirts only) NO hot water - sinks look like almost collapsing - bed good, baby cot good - high-pitch streaking bugs 2 hrs before dark and on-and-off all night LOCATION - amazing, secluded beach getaway, beautiful bluest water, - coral brown and not much fish (boats of tourists offloading people during the day) CLEANLINESS - minimal effort on grounds, spotted grass - fresh towels with yellow spots, some linen with bird poo STAFF - arrogant waiters - nice ladies at the bar & massage - 5star to Alex (helpful, friendly & normal) FACILITIES - snorkel gear useless, one set of flippers - good kayaks, sun lounge & hammocks Love the beach! Bit more love and genuine care would be awesome!!

Wrong choice, misguided by avertissement”
My advise: if you look for a nice tranquil beachfront resort: don't book Coral Garden Resort. It's nothing more than a place for backpackers. There is nothing wrong with that, but the resort presents itself as a starred Garden of Eden. The airco didn't work properly and the staff (both bell boy, engineer and room maid claimed that this particular room had a troubled airco. In the hottest time of the year a malfunctioning airco is disastrous. The management was aggressive and insulting. "Better you go now, because you MIGHT THINK that it is to hot". Thanks to interference and mediation of Agoda (big hand, well done!) the management agreed to give a discount for the first night and a free cancelation for the second night. After all the company start to back off on its earlier promise: no discount, yes partly refund. Anyhow, avoid this place. Huts are very much closed to each others. If the price was right: BHT 150,- a night, it was a good place for backpackers. It is not what it looks

Great staff, location and food”
Our stay at the Coral Garden Resort on Ko Kradan was our favorite part of our trip to Thailand. The island itself is absolutely beautiful and the location of the resort is perfect as it's a little north of where the long tail boats land and a little quieter. The staff were fantastic, they were so friendly.althoigh our favorites were Bom and Som, the massage ladies who did such a great job. We actually scheduled messages almost everyday of our stay. The food was amazing! Both the Italian and Thai food was so good, we didn't try any other restaurant on the island. Although the Thai food was always good, we noticed when a certain Thai lady chef was in the kitchen, the food was extraordinary! Best I've ever had! The Italian pasta was as good as we've had in Italy. And the cappuccinos were great treat in the morning. We really enjoyed our stay at the Coral Garden and we miss it so much now that we're home.

Wonderfull place, best resort in Koh Kradan!”
Koh Kadan is great island with lots of beautiful coral that you can access from the beach which attracts lot of boats. Biggest advantage of Coral Garden is that it's away from pier, it's quite and noone disturbs you enjoying beautiful views. It's located literally 20 meters from the see in front of great coral. It's best resort I have ever visited, not because of conditions (that are good but just normal), but because of amazing location. To me, due to it's size Koh Kradan is brilliant place for stay not longer than a week.

A charming beach resort”
Residing right on the beach just swimming distance to the beautiful coral, the Coral Garden Koh Kradan treated me with wonderful view, crystal clear sea, lovely accommodation, good food and hospitality services. Spent 3 nights at the wooden villa was totally worth for money. Love the resort. Thanks again to the manager for your professional service and kindness.

Very nice, shame about the dog mess”
Coral Garden is on the nicer (slightly quieter) end of Ko Kradan's beach. The beach itself is lovely, postcard perfect, with reasonable snorkelling if you wade far enough out. The rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable. Coral Garden has no restaurant but an arrangement with one of several Italian restaurants on the island for breakfast which is fine but nothing special. However, forget that place for dinner and head down the beach to a shabbier looking resort where they do the BEST pizza and pasta we've ever had in Thailand! Hotel provided free snorkels but minibar prices are extortionate. Only thing letting this place down is the dog mess - Ko Kradan has some semi-stray but friendly dogs that roam the beach. Normally not a problem but out front the bungalows you had to watch your step carefully. Hopefully the staff will start to clean this up better as otherwise it's a lovely place.

A little piece pf paradise”
All in all a great stay. The accommodation is new and much nicer then most of what is available at Koh Kradan. Quite far up the beach from where the boat docks but we easily arranged collection to help with our luggage. The room was clean and mainly mosquito free. Nice decking to relax on and great snorkelling right in front of the resort. Breakfast was great, however the restaurant was undergoing renovation during our trip, it sadly was opening the day we left!

Memorable stay in beautiful Koh Kodran”
The Coral Garden Resort offers modern and comfortable bungalows with a well maintained yard that separates the rooms from the beach. The resort restaurant offers wonderful service and great food. All staff were friendly and attentive. We felt very well taken care of and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable resort, amazing location”
My wife and I had a lovely stay at Coral Garden. We appreciated the staff and warm welcome we received. My wife remarked that the snorkeling off the beach was some of the best she has done (against parts of great barrier reef). Even though it a cool shower was more often welcome, we would have appreciated better temperature control on the shower. Aside from that, the Italian and Thai food served here was yummy and our experience was really amazing. We would stay here again!
