Super stylish hotel in Lanta”
One of the most stylish hotels I’ve seen. By saying that, I’ve been to 35 countries roughly so I think my claim is quite valid. :) Perfect location for swimming and supping as the beach is not too steep in front of the hotel. Staff is super nice and friendly. It happens when the owners actually take care of guests by themselves. They can find pretty much anything you want from Southern cuisine food to motorbike rental or tips for bars and restaurants (that are still open during the pandemic). Lanta is a big island. Basically you can just hang around in your ‘neighborhood’ or check other hoods out. It’s such a lovely island filled with chill vibes. One visit is definitely not enough.

Wonderful, Quiet Bungalows”
Loved our stay here! Traveling as a couple as a part of a larger family group and everyone was happy. Perfect location: a short drive to saladan pier, which is convenient for dive trips or snorkel tours. Beach and pool are gorgeous. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful in booking various tours, airport transfers, and renting scooters. Bungalows were clean and romantic. Good variety at included breakfast.

Heaven on earth”
Costa Lanta is a magical place to stay on the beautiful island of Koh Lanta. It is the epitome of rest and relaxation. Our room was adorable, and made of bamboo. I will be back, I love you.

This is one of our favourite places anywhere ”
We just love it here, being surrounded by great design and the landscaping of Costa Lanta Le day itself to different areas to hang out in at different parts of the day. It’s a place we totally relax in.

Excellent resort”
We had a bamboo bungalow. Although it seems small, the bed is comfortable. The bathroom seems a bit weird, if you care for your privacy (there are no hard walls, you are basically outside). The location is very beautiful and taken care of, trees, flowers, nicely cut grass. The pool is amazing and the breakfast very tasty. The personnel was very kind and nice, although I didn’t like that a woman was carrying our 4 pieces luggage. We didn’t let her do that at departure. Overall, a very nice resort with beach front, a bit isolated, but very beautiful and clean. Perfect for couples.

Wonderful place to stay in!”
Good location, amazing and friendly staff that are willing to help with anything and are a pleasure to talk to. Magical place, very relaxed and beautifully designed right on the beach front.

Great and quite place to relax surrounded by stunnig architecure.”
Love the architectural design. Stunning pool and garden area, all that directly on the beautiful beach. Great place to relax and in a few scooter minutes you are in the village with a lot of restaurants and markets. The cabana rooms are a bit to small, recommend to book the superior room. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Little oasis of zen”
Architecturally beautiful hotel. The cement rooms with the big doors are beautiful. There is a complimentry bicycle that allows you to go explore the island. Owner is completely lovely and helpful and takes great pride in her hotel. Staff were so sweet and friendly and readily available for anything. Breakfast was nicely done in the most beautiful setting. Great big pool. This part of the island is very remote and quiet so if you need a bit of zen this is your spot. You are definitely at one with nature here which i loved but it also means pack your mosqiito spray! I recommend for anyone wanting some quiet and time away from the world. Very romantic setting for couples.

Mosquitos! ”
Beautiful hotel in an excellent location and the pool is fantastic but unfortunately it is overrun with mosquitoes, I think because of the algae filled stream that runs through the property. The staff is excellent and they try very hard to help the guests to avoid mosquitoes with nets and coils everywhere but they cannot be avoided. Unfortunately it also causes there to be no space to relax in the room aside from under the net on the bed as the only chairs are outside, next to the stream. Perhaps this is why they only have wifi in the public areas of the hotel, since you can't really relax in your room. With that said, they offer some great places to sit near the beach and pool to relax and the service is excellent.

Lovely bungalows”
We stayed in the least expensive bungalows that were simple with no frills although nicely done. We enjoyed our 3 night stay. When we asked to stay a 4th night due to a tropical storm and no ferries running, they Were going to charge us 50% more than we has previously paid per night, so we moved on. Pros: beautiful grounds, incredibly helpful staff, right on the beach, nice shower Cons: mediocre food, overpriced, hard bed

Glamping in style ”
This place is really nice, and a good concept. But the compound is surrounded by still water swamp (mimicking river). So it is a perfect breeding ground for mosquito. They know this because they provide u with mosquito repellent lotion and mosquito net. Also, the double open door concept is great if it isn't so much mosquitos. If u keep the doors closed you then lack natural light from the outside. If u want to stay here please choose the room with glass windows instead of the double open door. The room itself is clean and bed is huge and comfortable. But no garbage bin at main room. Toilet no washing wand. No hot water for shower. No hot water kettle. The beach area they blocked off the view with a semi clear net for "wind + sand + rain" protection. Sure. But the view is shit now. They also block the restaurant too with clear wrapping, so it permanently looks like it is under construction. It is a turn off for sure. But other than all that. Nice place.

Warning!”
Like in the fairy tale "the emperor's new clothes" I have to tear up the illusion of a great hotel. Travel warning - don't go to this hotel! Yes, the beach is fantastic - but this has nothing to do with the hotel. The bungalows have the charm of garages - no windows, no space for luggage. But hundreds of mosquitoes! The breakfast is terrible and the staff can hardly speak English, but the prices for the bungalow are expensive for Thai standards. Somehow it should look stylish - but the bungalows are dark holes. The pictures on the homepage suggest something different. We were happy when we left!

Mosquito Town”
We booked two nights in the bambus cottage, but only stayed for one. It's a very bad idea to construct those cottages next to a river, they are full of mosquitos and other animals. We felt uncomfortable there, camping with a tent is a better experience, because it is closed (the bathroom is basically open). The hotel was almost empty when we stayed there in March. Breakfast was OK, pool is nice and the beach is also OK, but nothing special. Overall for that price tag, we would definitely book one of the other hotels on the island. A good price/value recommendation is Asura Resort.

Disappointed ”
Pros of this place, was being in koh lanta and in front of the beach. Cons of this place, the two biggest ones are it’s not adult only as the name suggest, more then one family with kids during our stay. Another con the is description of the rooms being semi open, really just means bugs and who knows what are crawling around and you can’t stop it, with the stagnant “rivers” running through the camp attracting more and more mosquitoes. Breakfast was served cold every time we had it. Absolutely disappointed with this place and we wish we never booked it and don’t recommend anyone does.

Excellent Honeymoon!”
We truly enjoyed every moment of unplugging at Costa Lanta and would recommend this resort to anyone who wants to enjoy the result beauty of Thailand. Huge unpopulated beaches, great grounds to enjoy, the team was beyond helpful and the cocktails were out of this world. You need to try the Gin Gin. The team made everything so easy, from the airport transfer to arranging a private chauffeur to tour us around the island all our expectations were exceeded. The bungalows are so cute and moderun! We loved the architecture and despite reviews of the accommodations being 'small' we thought they were perfect for the modern traveller! Thank you Costa Lanta for creating the perfect start to our honeymoon! We intend to book a corporate retreat and show others the beauty of this resort.

Cosy Hideaway”
Costa Lanta is a hidey-hole--small, cosy and surprisingly comfortable. The service is friendly and professional, and the food is of reasonable standard. The rooms are on the tiny side-- with the mosquito net down, there isn't enough room to walk without touching the mosquito net. However the bed is luxuriously HUGE, and the covers warm and comfy. Whilst we were there, it rained every night, typical tropical storms, but we were kept cosy under the duvet. The toilet is spartan but has enough facilities to keep one comfortable. Loved the rain shower. Our WC malfunctioned on one of the days and couldn't be flushed, but we informed the staff and the problem was fixed within 3 hours. Loads of complaints about the mosquitos documented in previous reviews, but I have to say that I only was bitten once during the trip whilst in the hotel vicinity. The staff are diligently dedicated to spraying the room every day at 6pm before lowering the mosquito nets, and I found that works. The hotel also thoughtfully provides mosquito repellent lotion, and there is a plugged-in repellent in the bedroom. We spent most of our time either lounging on the beach (which is semi-private, a big plus--it's relatively peaceful most of the time, which makes for a wonderful time tanning or catching up with leisure reading), or exploring the town, which is a 5 minute tuk-tuk ride away. In summary, Costa Lanta is a semi-luxury boutique hotel, you get what you pay for. It's posh enough to enjoy yourself comfortably (unless you are high maintenance!), and we had a fantastic time.
