Crimson Mactan - 1st Adventure in 2021”
It has been a while since we last went to stay at Crimson as a family. It so happened that we were looking for a place that is highly rated, yet not too crowded. Since we were sure that other places in Mactan would be surely crowded, we opted to follow our gut and went with Crimson. Ultimately, since we had prior experience staying at this resort, we were sure of a few things, great food, lovely staff and hotel room set-up that will enable us to be away from the crowds. Booking was seamless using Agoda. Price we got was the lowest we ever had to pay for compared to years back. We managed to check-in a little bit over 12noon which meant that we could use facilities earlier as well. When we went to Crimzone to swim, there was 1 just one other family, so we had the place to ourselves. Then, when we asked to book for playtime in Crimzone, we also luckily got a slot. When we went to play, there were only less than 5 other playing, so we felt that their appointment system for the use of the facilities worked well. We woke up to a morning with a light drizzle and were among the earliest to line up for Saffron. We were seated promptly and we most appreciate the measures in place, that is, to have hotel F&B staff serve food on plates. Guests were required to be wearing masks when getting food. Also, the options were definitely sufficient for a filling morning meal. We love the fact that there should be less food waste because of the safety measures in place for the serving of the food. Then, we enjoyed playing in the beach area. We appreciated how everything looked clean and in order within the facility. We had the fastest check-out ever as we were no longer asked to come by the front desk. We just had to give out our room number then they confirmed that we were all good and proceeded to send the golf cart to pick us up. Perfect Mid-week Getaway”
My wife and I went here during the week for a 2-night birthday getaway. Upon arrival, we were met by friendly staff to help with our luggage and direct us to the check-in counter. During check-in we were happily informed that our room has been upgraded. The room was very spacious and included an extremely cozy king-sized bed with large pillows. There was a large flat-screen TV with plenty of recently released movies to watch. There was a large master bathroom with a separate bathtub duel head (w/Rain Shower Head) shower stall. The closet had bathrobes and brand new slippers. I was quite impressed when a small birthday cake was delivered to our room on the first night. What a nice surprise that was! They must have known from a prior survey I filled out a couple of days earlier. During our stay, the power went out a couple of times but was almost immediately restored within less than a minute each time. There was only 1 restaurant open during our stay (probably due to a lower than usual occupancy from the pandemic). The servers were very friendly, alert, and attentive. The food we ordered was just about average though - not quite as good as we expected from a 5-star hotel. The breakfast buffet was pretty good but not a full buffet. There was instead a small menu of dishes to choose from and the buffet section was limited to fruit, salad, cereal, bread, rolls, and such. The swimming pool was perfect! The water temp was just right. The pool is both long and wide -- plenty of space for lap swimming on both sides! There are usually staff members nearby that you can order a drink or dessert from -- directly from the poolside. The lounge chairs all have a large shade to keep you from getting burned as you relax at the poolside (enjoying your dessert). Overall the whole experience was great. I would definitely return again without hesitation. Maybe next time we'll do some jet skiing.

My partner and I have been to Crimson in the past but only for the buffet dinner. We instantly fell in love with the place and resolved to book a stay. Over a year later, when the pandemic is quite at bay, we finally booked a room and it was incredible. We enjoyed the pool & beach, as well as the sumptuous dinner. The staff is friendly and ostentatious (in a good way). My favorite part of it all is the bathroom -- which, I believe, is slightly bigger than the room itself. I love the clean & spacious room, the bathtub with the TV, the shower w/ overhead rainfall. They put the COMFORT in "comfort room". Seriously. Highly recommended!

Ever since the ease of lockdown, we were able to go back to this resort twice. Their warmth hospitality stands out of all the great qualities why we chose this resort. Pool is clean and well maintained. Rooms are very neat and sterilized for use of each staying guest. The infinity pool is opened from 6am fo 9pm while the crimzone pool is opened from 9am to 6pm. Their gym is also opened with safety protocols. The breakfast food is yummy with good choices. Its a served buffet breakfast and waiters are very attentive to the needs of their guests. Most of their guests are locals but still they maintain such outstanding service, hospitality and courtesy from the maintenance staff, reception, housekeeping and restaurant staff. Our family enjoy our stays at Crimson every time. The pool is not that big but spacious enough. We don't feel it's too crowded even with a number of guests. The beach is just right next to the pool where my kids have fun making sand castles. Food is superb. Our kids love the play area so much we would spend the rest of the day there even after check out.

Long New Normal Weekend ”
I don’t know where to begin with my review since everything is excellent at this resort. Upon arrival, the check-in is hassle-free despite not paperless. No queue, and it was completed under 10 minutes. The room is spacious, sanitized, and clean. Not many people are crowding or converging, peaceful and quiet, ideal for relaxation. Azure Beach Club serves fantastic food (I ordered the ribeye steak and grilled ribs) and a good selection of drinks. Except for the kitchen staff not wearing the face mask the proper way, I wouldn't have any complaints. The beach is not as refined as what you expect, but it is an excellent beach to dip and enjoy the salty water. The people don't need a review because it also offers relaxation on a lazy afternoon. The staff is as excellent as the place that is always willing to help. Kudos to Darryl of Azure for bringing food and drinks, whether you are at the beach or by the pool!

Wonderful stay”
Probably because of the corona virus scare and there were plenty of rooms. We got early check in and late check out which really maximized our vacation. I chose this resort as I saw they had children facilities and they did not disappoint. I like that the manager Elmar purposely gave me rooms near the Crimzone because he saw upon check in that I had a child. The facilities were well maintained and my daughter kept raving about the playground. She also had so much fun going around the multiple swimming pools. For food we had buffet breakfast at Saffron for 2 days and while I was very happy with the selection, i was a little disappointed that they did the exact same menu for the next day. Rooms were spacious and clean. Service I got to say was really exceptional. Everyone offered a sincere greeting and were so friendly to me and my daughter. small requests done like the small birthday cake delivered to our room was much appreciated. Will definitely go back for another pleasurable stay

we were 4 ( Including 2 kids). We had to book two rooms as they said that they allow max 3 guests in a room . I guess due to pandamic . But rooms were nearby. Kids has a lot of fun having their own room in the resort Food was good. They had Indian food as well so we enjoyed it. Though I felt it was bit pricy The beach was small , but the best part was there were a lot of fishes you can see if you do Snorkeling . Pool and music at the pool side was great. Kids have good play area . Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We love Crimson... Specially Crimzone the kids area..free entrance with a big, nice kids pool outside the play area. Their infinity pool is also very nice and huge with kids pool too.. I also like their beach with white sand.. The food there is also great my 2 picky eaters love their dinner and sumptuous breakfast! We enjoyed their food a lot. Its not that expensive buteverything is nice from the room to the facilities nd the staff. The manager even gave us a courtesy cake for my kids because its their birthday… I love Crimson its definitely one of the best if not the best hotel in Mactan ♥️

Lots of pools, courteous staff & clean room. There’s also capsule coffee machine plus capsules in each room which is great since you can choose the caffeine content you prefer. Had pizza for dinner which was a bit pricey but it was fresh & tasty so it’s worth it. Breakfast was okay. Only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the yellowish color of the water the first minute I turned it on. Loved everything else. Thanks, Crimson!

Family summer vacation with my 2 daughters 12 and 7. Youngest has ASD. We appreciate how people greets her when we go out of the room. The guests and staff let her play and get all excited at the beach and pool. Well, they let all kids just be kids there. Very warm place for family with kids. They may be a little understaffed, but it's all understandable. Reasonable price. My youngest started crying when she felt we're checking out. The hotel offers the best relaxing villas. Just what you need to destress. Opt for the villa instead of the garden rooms - worth every penny. Boast the best view of the sea. The staff (the front desk, the bar guys and everyone literally) were great and very friendly. The food is great too! Love the steak. Cons: The place is far from the city. Far from lots of things. The beach area is a bit small. Villas don’t have access to the beach.

We had a fantastic experience in Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan Cebu. The health protocols were highly commendable. And shout out to the staff of Saffron Cafe. I just forgot to ask the name. There was this one staff, a male, I asked him if they have available jam and apologetically said they have none. To my surprise, the same staff came to our table and gave me a couple of jam! I was really surprised and happy. Like he really had gone the extra mile for us. And I think it’s not only him but all of their staff were really amazing. Everyone was so polite and kind. The place is so nice and clean. staff are very friendly and accomodating. It was for a birthday getaway and they surprised the celebrant with a birthday cake. That was so sweet of them. The only negative is that when we checked in I was told that our breakfast was at enye but when we got to the location we were told that it was at saffron. It was dissapointing.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Crimson. From the minute you walk in you are welcomed by friendly staff and blown away by the amazing view out to the infinity pool and the ocean. We booked the Crimson to celebrate our anniversary and in our room on check in we had an amazing display on our bed and a coconut cake which was so delicious. The food at every establishment on site was top notch and the best food we have had in the Philippines. We absolutely loved it here and would highly recommend to anyone!! We will be back 😊😊
