Good place and services”
If you want to choose a place that isn't so far centre, near Xuan Huong lake, Dalat market and good price, you should be here. I had experienced 2 days here so great, i also met many foreign tourists here, the twin room isn't so big, but so cute and enough for couples. The staff is nice and the owner of hotel can speak English fluently. I will stay here agian when i come to Dalat.

Very helpful staff but a bit shy”
The hotel is less than 2 years old. The hotel has no lift and it can be bit of a chore to haul your bags up to the 3rd or 4th floor. However, for the price the room is very nice. We booked a double and ended up with 2 queen sized beds. Nice hot shower, beds a bit hard but normal in Asia, no heater or aircon but not required in Dalat. A 2 block walk puts you up on the main backpack/budget street with all the amenities travelers need. The hotel also rents motobikes or one can be rented up on the main street, 10 minute walk. The going rate is 5USD per day from morning until evening. Directly across the street from the hotel is a nice seafood resturant but they speak no English. We had a nice dinner there, deciphered the menu using google translate and the owners daughter came over with her laptop and also was deciphering with us. It was great fun. We had grill your own shrimp on skewers and they bought a small grill over to the table. The total bill was less than 10USD for dinner and drinks for 2. I would stay at this hotel again but it takes about 15 minutes to walk down to the market area.

Great value for money, 15 min walk to city centre”
First of all this hotel is a 15 minute up hill walk to the city center and restaurants. There are places to eat and shop on the way but the quality is not as good. Worth bearing in mind for elderly people or people who aren't that fit. Secondly we had some laundry done, tried to pay at the time but were told "no", it must have been lost in translation as we were under the impression is was a free service but they added 180,000 dong to our bill at the end which was way way more than anybody else in Vietnam will charge you. If the price had been clear at the time we wouldn't have minded but felt a bit sneaky doing it that way. However, they are the only negative things about our stay here. The hotel is so clean and the rooms are very spacious. Every time you leave the hotel the staff will make up your room which is a really nice touch. Staff struggle with English but are incredibly polite (always holding doors open and bringing umbrellas to meet you from a taxi etc.). Great stay for the price.

NIce rooms; good for a short stay in Dalat”
Great rooms and very friendly staff. Location ok- not all that central but for a day or two in Dalat fine. Takes about 15/20 mins to walk to the centre and there is not all the much near the hotel. Only slight annoyance was discovering that they charged us for a map without telling us. Something to be aware of all over Asia- getting charged for things without being told!! All in all however, very comfortable, clean and pleasant.

Good place to stay”
Just out of the main throng of it you'll get a quiet night's sleep! The hotel is new & it's spotlessly clean & very comfortable with modern fittgings. No kettle in the rooms but staff will give you a thermos if you want. This is a great place to stay at a very good price. They'll also do you fried eggs & a bread baguette for VND25k. The local restaurant opposite is also very good if you can't be bothered to walk the 5 mins into town.

Great stay in a quiet hostel dorm, really good sleep!”
This is actually a nice hotel that also has dorm rooms on their top floor. Because of this, it is very clean, new and nice with great facilities like a spotless bathroom, awesome hot shower and good wifi. Only thing is that it is quiet, this is not a party hostel. Good location, close to market and lake, good street food around. Personally i was looking for a quiet, comfortable and central place to stay, and this was perfect, for only 2dollars too! Would recommend it, i tried many hostels in Da Lat and this remains my favourite.

A quiet and comfortable hotel”
Really a nice surprise, the hotel was quiet and comfortable, the rooms were clean. The staff was talkative and friendly, although the guy which is in charge for the night time can barely say 'goodnight'. The top room which we used had a bamboo roof, a bit uncomfortable because of the reduced height, but we liked it cause we could hear the birds twits. It's a 5min walk from town, not what I'd consider far. I would stay here again!

Nice hotel but not the best”
The hotel itself was good overall. Has three rooms on each floor, we stayed in two types(twin/double) and the rooms were both clean with average size. Location is also ok, 5 mins walk to the sinh tour and 10-15mins walk to the lake and the market. Staffs were kind but can't speak much english. The girl during the daytime can speak enough but the guy at night can't speak a single word. We had to use google translate even for very simple conversations(simple as 'water please'). Well, I'm the one who can't speak their language so I'm not complaining but it can be quite embarrassing if you try to check in or out at night. The only thing that I didn't like was that there was a group in the hotel and it was SO noisy at night. Since there are only 3 rooms in each floor and all the rooms are basically right next to the stairs, you can always hear other guests going up and down the stairs and talking.

Potential but poor execution”
This seemed a bargain with a "deluxe" room for 380k VND. Unfortunately we got what we paid for. The décor was nice and well thought out with a comfortable bed, good TV and a waterfall shower with plenty of hot water. Unfortunately the latter came straight down into a wet room with no airflow. The main room did not have a fan or a/c and the window opened into a narrow space which simply let more damp in. There was mold on the ceiling and two of the walls. This damp mustiness permeated the whole room and made it an unpleasant place to sleep. The staff were a little unfriendly by Vietnamese standards but were efficient and the motorbike hire was decent standard and reasonably priced. It all came down to the room which needs a strong air conditioner and some major repair work before it is fit to house guests again.

Dalat is a nice place, very different from all the other part of Vietnam but very similar to European style. The street condition to go there is not good and there is nothing special to see there.. The staff of the hotel is lovely but the room are small and dirty.

On the whole, satisfactory. Condensation in building because there was no thermal insultion, makes it very cold at night. So, we had to improvise to feel comfortable during sleeping time.
