Great hotel”
Even before our arrival, the hotel manager helped to arrange affordable transportation from the airport and even offered to get us 2 SIM cards at a much better price than those street stands targeting tourists (we took him up on this and are still using them now in Saigon). The staff are wonderful, and I have to echo many of the other reviews: breakfast at Damsels is the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. Legit Hanoian pho at a hotel--who knew?! And proper Vietnamese coffee--none of that Westernized BS some hotels serve. They've got a gem of a chef back there. Rooms are clean and comfortable, housekeeping is brilliant, staff are wonderfully welcoming, and nights are surprisingly quiet given how central the hotel is. The view from the breakfast room is icing on the cake. Couldn't ask for more. Kudos to the Damsels team.

I have stayed at this hotel twice. It is fantastic! Great location, large clean rooms and good food. But the owners of the hotel and the staff are so nice, gracious, helpful and friendly! They will give you tips for restaurants, massages, manicures, day trips - you name it! We went with their recommendations and they were all top notch! I even accidentally knocked over the hotel owner's new motor scooter which was parked in front of the hotel. I felt (and still feel terrible) but the owner was so nice and gracious about it. I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel.

Great Hotel with Excellent Service ”
The airport transport did not came to pick us up as arranged. It was pretty disappointing and upsetting. However, we still do enjoyed our stay in Demsels Hanoi Boutique Hotel. A small, beautiful and cosy hotel with a team of friendly and helpful staff. It’s located in the center of the Old Quarter and 2 mins away from the Hoan Kiem lake. There are some famous eateries just minutes walk away from the hotel and you may ask the staff for recommendations. I highly recommend this hotel for their excellent service, comfortable room, delicious breakfast and the location.

Damsels Hotel was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Vietnam. It was very, very clean, the breakfast was amazing, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help us.! Very beautifully furnished hotel”
We got a junior suite. The room is large and spacious and very very beautifully furnished. Very clean, great bathtub and shower facilities. Staff were very helpful and all had very welcoming smiles every time they see us. There was a light which didnt work and they got it fixed very quickly while we went out for dinner. Fabulous view of the sword lake at the breakfast location on level 12.

I enjoyed the location of the hotel a lot. It was near a lake so it had a nice view. The room was very big, pretty, and we found it to be very clean. The staff was very friendly and helped us with whatever we needed. The breakfast was good in the morning as well. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend this to friends in the future.

1st Time Hanoi”
This was the 1st trip to Vietnam for my wife and I visiting our adult son who teaches English in Hanoi. We chose Damsels based upon it's location in Old Quarter, the price range we wanted to spend, and +9 reviews. We made a fantastic choice! I would give 5 Stars to every aspect of this hotel. But most important was the service we received from Mary and her staff. She helped arrange everything from our trip to Halong Bay, airport driver, and SaPa tour. Even after we left the hotel to travel south, she kept in touch to assure we were doing well. This is definitely where I will stay every time I visit Hanoi! Jim M

Lovely hotel in a perfect place”
Lovely hotel located in the Old quarter in a perfect position. Nice and clean, lovely and very helpful staff. Amazing rooftop with beautiful views to the lake. I will always keep a very special memory from this place, as my boyfriend proposed in the rooftop on our last night in Vietnam!

Best hotel in Ninh Binh”
The location was perfect, 500m walk to the town with restaurants and Tam Coc boat tour. Room was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly, especially Ms Trang who help to organise our transportation and tours. The price they offer was reasonable, and the service was efficient and realisable. Highly recommended!

Exceptional Hotel and Staff”
We booked a Junior Suite with Lakeview. The room was huge and view was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and courteous. They attended to all of our needs and was very helpful. They even decorated the room for Mitch’s birthday with rose petals and provided a birthday cake. The breakfast buffet was small but adequate. You can also order from a limited menu as well. The owner was very nice and hosted a Christmas Eve gala for the guests free of charge.

Excellent hotel in Old Quarter ”
Huge rooms and toilets with full amenities, great breakfast- combination of buffet and a la carte, centrally located with convenience stores, shopping, weekend night market, cafes, restaurants, lakeside, water puppet theatre and Trang Tien Plaza. Staff speak decent English. They're well trained, helpful and pleasant....especially Ms Jasmine. International plug points are available in the rooms. Don't have to bring along travel adaptors. There were at least 8 plug points that I counted in the room.

We have had the most amazong experience in this hotel. first of all - every staff member there is amazing and welcoming, and their hospitality is remarkable, they remember everything you ask for, they try to make sure everything is to your satisfaction, and all with a smile. The location is very good, we were a minute walk from the center of the old quarter which was pretty good because all the fun was there! The hotel is very clean, the breakfast is perfect with good food selection. Also in the middle of the week we were there, we left for a 2 day tiur in Sapa, and they offered to takw care of our suitcases free of charge. This is truly an amazing hotel. 10/10

Perfect stay -Excellent Location”
This was our last abode during our trip to Vietnam. The location of this cute boutique hotel is just perfect. walking distance from most of the must see places in Hanoi. Coming to the room, the rooms are just so beautiful, clean and also luxurious. We had booked a junior suite, and the Hotel staff was kind enough to upgrade us to the presidential suite. The suite is lavish, has a bath tub in middle of the room and has a gorgeous view of the lake. Even the breakfast was delicious with variety of options even to serve our vegetarian palate. Plus again the view from the breakfast area, it was just too perfect.

(+) good breakfast with lake view good location near to lake room super spacious, with netflix available. we checked out very early ~5.50am, they provided simple dinner in tupperware for us. thanks. (-) minor problem that having air conditioner problem in the room, they provided 2 fans for us. the next day, we are upgraded to another room type.

Great little boutique in the old quarter”
Great hotel in the middle of the old quarter. Rooms are an incredible size with a gorgeous bathroom and tub. Breakfast is on the top floor overlooking the lake, lovely view when not raining. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.

Awesome hotel with friendly staff, great views and great location”
We really enjoyed staying in this hotel. The location was perfect in the Old Quarter, and close to the lake, good restaurants and night markets. The staff were very friendly, could speak good English, and were always happy to recommend places to eat and go. The rooms were large and well appointed, definitely worth booking a junior suite or the Lake View room if you want a room with an amazing view. The hotel serves a good breakfast on the 11th floor and are in the process of building a rooftop bar which will be amazing.
