Beautiful hotel”

The property has parking which is a huge bonus, however it is about a 20-30 minute walk to Bournemouth beach which my partner and I didn’t mind at all. We stayed in the Hemsbury (i think) room and it was stunning. Decor is unique and cleanliness was spotless. We even had a complimentary mini Prosecco and beer in the fridge for us! All the little details were thought of from the helpful tools in the bathroom such as a razor, nail file etc, to the Dyson fan and fresh robes. The breakfast in the morning was superb. Every member of staff we encountered were helpful and accommodating. We were both thoroughly impressed and will be recommending to any friends travelling this way In the future!

Perfect stay … ✨”

We could find no faults with our overnight stay at the Pavillion Arms - the entrance was very welcoming, the room we stayed in was extremely clean, decorated lovely and additional little extra’s which added another element of cosy to our stay. I really loved the bathroom products that contained essential oils - each one smelt sooo heavenly. The mini bar in the room was well stocked as well which meant we didn’t have to leave the accommodation. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and it was the best food we have tasted in such a long time. The staff were lovely and the food was delivered quickly. We can’t wait to return.

Amazing staff, from the minute I walked in the door I felt welcomed, everyone was so friendly from managers, bar, restaurant to the lovely housekeeper, nothing too much trouble, it felt like a very happy friendly environment to stay. Excellent food, very good quality and presented well, great breakfast choice. Spotlessly clean everywhere and decorated to a high standard. Gorgeous bedrooms, very comfy bed, every attention to detail with lots of unexpected extras. Lovely bar and restaurant, great choice of drinks. I would definately recommend the Pavillion Arms.

Excellent stay - Rooms very good size and very clean. Decor in rooms very nice. Staff extremely pleasant, friendly and welcoming. Nothing seemed to be a problem for the hotel staff and always available to help. Breakfast was great and plenty of options to cater for all. All-round experience was brilliant and could not be faulted. Location perfect to visit local attractions and close to beach. Would highly recommend the property and would definitely visit again.

The hotel is everything and more than expected. Staff 1st class polite go extra mile fantastic, food, amazing was 11 of us so a challenge but met every time, hotel.. out of this world rooms .. just make you feel special, comfy clean so many little extras everything top quality, welcome drinks, plus extra for birthday girl in our party stayed 4nights so sad to return home best ever. We will be back soon thank you.

Great location . Really friendly staff who loved our dog and made her welcome. Brilliant we could eat in the Restaurant and have her with us. The room was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. We ate in the restaurant both nights of our stay and the food was very good. Lovely breakfast in the morning.
Only one criticism. Our room was quite cold.

We loved the pavilion arms! the building was cute, the room was beautiful and clean, and the food in the restaurant was delicious! it was also in a great location for a stroll into the town centre and there was a car park too…. overall it was an amazing find for a cheeky little night away, and we will defo visit again.

Great little place, lovely stay”

Hotel was brilliant, from the staff, to the accommodation, to the food. We had the suite, great space and lovely decor, very comfortable. The shower was amazing, waterfall shower, made the most of it. Provided all the little things like shower cap, sewing kit, toiletries, toothbrush etc, thought of everything. Bonus is on site free parking, can leave your car there and not worry.

Everything. An extremely comfortable, high quality hotel. The staff are absolutely amazing and they are the reason your stay there is so good. As a dog friendly hotel, they go the extra mile to ensure that you have everything and they really treat your four-legged companion as a VIP. Restaurant excellent with good attention to quality and detail. Whole hotel very tastefully decorated. Highly recommended and we will go back.

Anniversary break”

Attractive looking hotel and restaurant. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were spacious, modern, very clean with lots of extra touches. We were there for our 25th anniversary. A bottle of bubbly and a homemade cake was left as a surprise in our room on our special day, which rounded off a perfect stay. Highly recommend!

well positioned not to far from the beach with just under a mile walk which was pleasant
we had dinner on our second night , and quite a few items missing from the menu would be good for chef to communicate with the waiting staff so they could tell guests what wasn’t available as we ordered food the waiter had to come back twice to table to advise us that what we ordered wasn’t available was no calamari for a starter or second choice was mussels which again wasn’t available so didn’t have anything the feathers beef and mash also not available as a main ☹️

Booking.com promised a seating area in our room which was not forthcoming. Appears Booking.com description is not in synch to what is actually available. Using Booking.com it has not been possible to query what appears to have been an extra £40 charge for the room. Shall book direct in future when travelling

Fantastic!”

The staff were so lovely and helpful, I asked them to decorate the room prior to our visit there as it was my partners birthday. They put balloons, card and cake it the room which was lovely. Would recommend to friends and family and will be going back again. Beds were super comfortable, the room was beautiful with a great shower.

I found some marks on the towels, which I raised to reception anyway. It looked like foundation marks or hair dye marks.

There is nothing not to like. The Pavilion is a short distance away from the centre, has ample parking, lovely friendly staff, beautiful decor and well managed. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choice and some unusual options. We had dinner a number of times and the food was brilliant. 10 out of 10 for excellent standards. Thank you all Pavilion staff. We would certainly recommend to family and friends.

The welcome and the customer service when we first arrived was incredible. We were greeted by the assistant manager who kindly took us to our room, welcomed our little dog & was so helpful. The dinner was great & we’re looking forward to the breakfast!
There should be a discount of some sort to eat in the hotel if you’re a resident - albeit the food was great!

Amazing stay”

This used to be my old local and after Buttcombe took over, the place is amazing. All the complimentary things in the room and the beautifully appointed rooms make this previously old tatty local a gem to be discovered. The manager couldn’t do more to help us and accommodate us. So amazing, we have booked two more nights upon our return from holidays. Thank you so much, this place is amazing.
