So much to like about Darby Manor”
Very nice hotel, spacious room, comfortable bed, decent car park, quiet location but not too far from town centre and good breakfast, but a bit of attention to detail regarding room maintenance is needed. Two spotlights above the bed needed replacing, door fire trim was hanging out and it took us 3 hours to work out that the TV remote wasn't working not because the batteries were flat but because the power cable wasn't connected in the back of the TV ! Didn't appear to be any in house maintenance on site but staff were pleasant enough and it wouldn't deter me from staying there again.

Rooms are very decadently decorated. Lots of crushed velvet. We had a very comfortable night and wished we were staying longer as it would have been nice to try the hotel bar and lounge which both looked lovely.

Gorgeous and quirky little hotel”
Reception isn't manned all day and there are no lifts, but that doesn't take away from this bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Grand National room, which was spacious and beautifully decorated. It didn't have much of a view though. Would definitely stay here again
