Lovely house, perfect location, great hosts and amazing breakfast!”

We have just had a lovely 2 night stay at Dillons. The room and whole house are decorated to a really high standard and made everywhere feel warm and cosy. The bed was really comfortable and the room nice and quiet. Craig was the perfect host, very friendly and helpful. As per previous reviews the breakfast was exceptional with a huge amount of choice and tasty local ingredients. We would definitely stay again when we are next visiting Whitby.

The property was well situated and only five minutes walk away from Whitby. The double room was beautifully and tastefully decorated. Very comfortable bed with lovely en-suite bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Craig and Matt were very welcoming hosts. on arrival and after a long drive we were offered tea and lemon drizzle cake. it was very welcome. In my eyes we chose the perfect place to stay. The breakfasts were first class and nothing was too much trouble. We had the most amazing stay and will definitely return

What a gem.”

The b and b was beautiful. Matt and Craig our hosts were so friendly and had good knowledge of the area. It was a relaxed atmosphere and you are made to feel instantly at home. Perfectly situated for a 5-10 minute stroll from the centre of Whitby. The room was very clean , modern and had a personal cozy touch. Very quiet. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. It was all the little things that they had thought of to make the stay enjoyable and comfortable. The choice of breakfasts was fabulous and the quality exceptional. Veggie and meat eaters catered for. I chose something different each morning. We will definatley be returning to Dillons of Whitby and I would highly recommend! Thank you for a wonderful stay :-)

Brilliant hosts, beautiful building; we felt very valued as guests and we felt very relaxed there.”

The attention to detail was exceptional, the hosts were very thoughtful, attentive, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them if a guest required anything extra. The breakfast choice was very varied and everything tasted delicious! The bathroom was very modern and clean - not a speck of mouldy grout in sight! The location was opposite a park and just a short walk into the hustle and bustle of Whitby town - no trouble at all!
The antique furniture in the room was lovely, but a little impractical i.e. a dressing table to sit at to apply makeup etc. would have been more useful. That's all.

Great location. Craig and Matt were perfect hosts with nothing too much trouble for them. Extremely attentive at breakfast to make it a great experience.
Only slight gripe would be parking up at the front of the property. Would it be possible to extend the dropped kerb ? The car took quite a jolt when turning in off the road !

Dillons the GEM of Whitby!”

We loved everything about Dillons. The friendly welcome, to breakfast in bed, and everything in between surely makes you feel at home. The property is very clean and conscious of the Covid-19 guidelines. The location is within walking distance to all the favorite points of interest. The bed was superbly comfortable for a great nights rest. Matthew & Craig made everything perfect for our weekend get away. We highly recommend visiting this B&B. Thank you for everything!

The location of the property was ideal for a walk into town either through the park or along the main road. Parking was available at the property. The property was exceptional, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Bed was lovely and comfy. Craig and Matthew were excellent hosts. Breakfast was awesome.
