The hotel's location is near by Xuan Huong lake so that you can easily walk at night. Besides that, the buffet for the breakfast is good and my wife really liked. The room is clean. The hotel also provides motorbike for rent.

Apart from a good breakfast, and nearby nice neighbors who rent motorbike n do laundry, nothing special with this hotel. Thru from earlier comments, bathroom is weird , you need a curtain to prevent toilet bowl from soaking wet. Will not stay in this hotel again, unless they redesign the bloody toilet.

Big room but book 3 rooms , 2 have air conditioning and 1 doesn’t. Bathroom have smell. Old hotel , restrooms clean but missing lot of things. I will consider 2stars hotel and not 3 stars. Not recommended because the room are old

Loud hotel - avoid ”
It’s in a great location, super close to lake and downtown. There’s a convenience store just a few doors down too! You can hear everyone on the four floors of the hotel though. Kids running and screaming from 6:30am. I understand there may be no kids at some points but the doors are so loud and you always heard of someone slammed their doors/ they didn’t close their doors because the door alarm started. Had to cancel the reservation after 1 night because of the lack of sleep due to the noise

Airport shuttle confirmed but no driver show up at the airport.”
I called to book the airport shuttle from airport to hotel and was confirmed by the hotel. Hotel email to me to confirm my airport shuttle but nobody show up at the airport. Worst still a lady at the hotel receiption, I settle all my bills one day before I check out but the next day when we want to check out she said I haven't settle my bills. Infact when I settle all my bills one day earlier I asked for the receipt but she told me she can't issue the receipt now, have to wait until when I check out. Really terrible the young lady at the counter. Moreover we want to book the airport shuttle from hotel to airport the guys at the counter also terrible, one day quote the different price. Really not up to standard the staff at the counter. Service really terrible and horrible?

best service with great breakfast hotel”
i reached Dalat early morning (6am), but they allowed me to check in earlier. i booked for superior room (1 queen bed) but they said all superior rooms sold out at the time i reach hotel, so they upgraded my room to bigger room with 1 queen bed & 1 single room without additional charge!! and i can check in immediately, that was 7am only! then i can have a simple rest and bath then star my plan there my room is highest floor & not facing main road, so it is quiet & good view, the room is clean. the pretty receptionist was helpful with smile, will always greet & ready to help us whenever we pass by the lobby hall, and she really help us a lot on looking location to go , oh ya, you can rent motorbyke at the hotel as well, V-cafe just few step beside, 2km to go Dalat market, 1km to go the lake good location. all workers are helpful some of them might not understand English, but they will show you the correct person to go the breakfast is great, local Vietnamese style, many choices, some of the ppl said they never refilled the breakfast, but according to them, they only serve breakfast during 630 to 830, so when i reach the restaurant was 7am, and the food is ready for us, maybe you should not go later then 830 i bought my bus ticket once i reach Dalat, but according to them i can book the ticket from hotel, and the bus will come pick us up from the hotel, 30mins before departure; but the girl still help us call and confirmed the pickup service even though the ticket not booked by them.

Excellent hotel in a good location”
This is a really excellent hotel. The rooms are large and very clean and the service is excellent. The breakfast they serve has good variety, probably the best breakfast I had at hotels in Vietnam. The location of the hotel is very convenient too. You can rent motorbikes from the hotel for 120,000 dong, and this is definitely the best way to make the most of Dalat. To be honest, as a city, it disappointed, but once you get out of the city on bikes and see some of the random villages and scenery around, this is the real attraction of Dalat. The bus-ride to Nha Trang is beautiful, although half the bus was being sick, which detracted from the ride slightly.

Great hotel, excellent service”
My daughter and I were very surprised to find a huge room with two double beds and lots of space. Loved the location, not right in the center which is more crowded and noisy, but just a short walk. The hotel staff were awesome. The main desk person went out of his way to help us with a problem we had with lost luggage in Hanoi. He made calls, took messages and made sure we felt cared for. He also helped us get discount prices on taxis to the airport and was super attentive whenever we passed by. The breakfast had a big selection including made to order eggs, noodle soup, yogurt and a variety of Vietnamese noodle and rice choices. The staff at breakfast was super friendly also. There are also nearby restaurants and bars that are very good and cater to Western visitors. I would definitely go back and recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Dalat.

Comfortable, convenient, & good friendly service!”
the fortune dai loi is an art deco era hotel that has remained faithful to the original style. it really stands out as a prominent, stateful feature of the street. we booked a standard room and were surprised to find that the room we were given resembled the photos of the superior and deluxe rooms. the room was comfortable, very clean and quite spacious, with a high ceiling and original style furniture and fittings. there was no air conditioner but it is not really needed in the dalat climate, so full marks for environmentally friendly and for not spoiling the original design. despite showing its age the bathroom was fully functional. the included breakfast was a generous buffet of viemanese food as well as eggs cooked to your liking. the lady in charge of the breakfast was very friendly and kept offering to refill our plates and coffee. this place is excellent value for money. the location is excellent - only a few minutes walk to the lake, market and the v cafe.

Hotel location is great as it is not located in the busy / noisy heart of Dalat. City center within walking distance. The room was very clean and quite spacious. Breakfast selection was good (Western food / Vietnamese food). Staff members were very friendly and helpful.

Decent value although most hotels in Dalat are pretty fairly priced. Breakfast was awesome, location was very handy if travelling with Sinh tourist bus. However dalat is a cold place and this hotel was freezing. There are huge airvents on the wall that let in all the cold from outside - crazy design feature for a mountain town hotel!! Also the halls are huge echo chambers so if you have aanyon in the hallways or slamming doors it is mega loud. We left after 2 nights and moved to the tulip ii hotel near the market, much higher standard and same cost. I would recommend fortune only if that one is unavailable....but bring your thermals!!

Wonderful stay in friendly hotel”
This hotel lived up to its high rating on Agoda, which was the reason I chose it. I could not fault the efficient and friendly check in service. I had just spent 8 hours on a bus and the receptionist recommended, without prompting, a nearby restaurant (V cafe) which was two minutes away. The hotel only serves breakfast,which is of a high standard - the lady owner cannot do enough to ensure you enjoy it - offering more bread, yoghurt, fruit, coffee. This hotel is in a good location near the golf club, the reason for my stay. It is 5 minutes walk from the lake and about 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. My room was standard and exceptionally clean and comfortable. This hotel is great value for money, I would definitely go back the next time I visit Dalat.

i stayed the hotel for 3 nights in dalat. twin bedroom was assigned to me on arrival, but hotel asked me to move to single room with kingsize bed. i did not need twin bed so i was okay to move. i was satisfied with kingsize bed, and spent 3 nights comfortably. hotel staff was very friendly and helpful even if their english was not perfect. but there were many western guests. especially, breakfast was very good. vietnamese cuisine including noodle, bread, milk, eggs and etc were served. if you mind basil, you need to ask staff not to put it in before cooking noodle. overall impression was cozy and comfortable while staying.
