Amazing gateway escape”
I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the hotel, beach location and nearby facilities so much. The Laguna, being right on the beach, probably has the best location of any hotel at Bang Tao. I must admit that as a family i was somewhat lost in the club dusit room (an upgrade) on the first stay but did appreciate the space in the well appointed room . I had a room with a sea view and appreciated the view over the gardens to the Andaman Sea and sunsets. The bed matrix is very comfortable . I used the well-appointed gym, followed by a swim in the pool, each day and also enjoyed walking the length of a mainly desertedd Bang Tao Beach. Breakfast was being served a la carte due to covid -19 but it was amazing during my stays. There was a wide selection of good quality dishes. Apart from breakfast ,The hotel is very well set up for families and young children would undboutedly appreciate the facilities provided for them , I enjoyed the kids club and movies with complementary popcorn , the housekeeping team is amazing each time we left the room with a lot of sands we come back like just check in again . My family decided to extend the stay for another one night in laguna Phuket and certainly Dusit Thani will be our first choise for next trip to Laguna Phuket.

we fully enjoyed our stay at dusit laguna and i thank everybody for their great hospitality. i was pleasantly surprised to get the same room as 2 years ago. the ones i selected are small but perfectly well appointed with all the amenities and quite comfortable. importantly apart from the occasional rumbles on the floor above it was very quiet. the main feature of the property, the reason for allocating a top ratio, is the huge extensive sea front area and the beautiful long beach with fine sand. sitting on the balcony amidst an impeccable lawn and majestic pine trees, a few meters from the ocean, is wonderfully peaceful, with only the soothing sound of the waves. special gratitude to the friendly energetic room maid and miss aree who brought us the breakfast with a broad smile enlightening our morning. on her well deserved day off we missed her. she made me feel at home

The hotel's location at Laguna beach is fantastic. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Even includes a free additional bed. Because we are travelling with young kids, we just spent our holiday in the resort and dine in for all our meals. I would say the food is really good! Even my picky eaters enjoyed the kids meals. Especially the fried rice. The buffets at night is great too, every dish is of good quality instead of giving you lots choices that is not nice, they focused on making every dish great. Will definitely come back again. Thanks!

Wonderful hotel with beautiful beach”
We absolutely loved our stay at Dusit. The staff were so welcoming when we arrived, I wish I had got the gentlemen's name, he was just a delight. The breakfast was fantastic, they had soya milk and lots of options for vegans, really great. Sitting at the pool sipping cocktails as well as sitting on the loungers on the beach was so relaxing, I could have just stayed forever. I just loved the teepee on the beach. We had a seaview room with a balcony which was great, as we sat out there in the mornings doing some work. Loved the bar in the evenings, sipping cocktails at happy hour and listening to the music. Beautiful hotel and setting ”
The hotel is really beautiful. It is situated on a beautiful beach that is really clean and the sea is clear. The sunset is wonderful. The main swimming pool is huge - lots of shade too. The rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms are very clean. You have a separate bath and shower and I think they are newly renovated. Beds are big and comfortable. The balconies are big and have a lovely view. I’ve stayed there twice in 2 different types of room and it’s been great each time.

We normally stay out Outrigger next door but they were much more expensive this time so we tried the Dusit having seen it on previous visits. It is as good as the Outrigger and better value. But what really impressed me was the following. The day after we arrived they sent a simple survey - happy or not with the hotel. Most places do this at the end of the stay which means little can be done. And we were fine but there was one issue we were unhappy with and I raised it in the survey. Within 30 minutes they phoned me with a solution. The survey was therefore not some head office collecting data but linked to guest services at the resort and was aimed at triggering a solution in real time. Very impressive. And the solution was perfect. Well done. Will stay there again. You have a convert.

I booked the last 2 nights in this hotel of my Thailand trip, as I wanted to relax after doing a lot of tours. I made the right decision of choosing this resort. It was perfect, right by the beach but also has its own pool and there’s various restaurants on site. I was given a partial ocean view room although I booked a lagoon view. I cannot complain, my room was perfect! I love everything about it. The staff are also great, they let me checked out at 4pm as my flight is not until 8pm, free if charge. I am grateful to them! I would definitely stay again.

The Laguna resort has grown massively over the last 10 or 15 years. The Dusit is one of the original hotels but money has been spent to keep the rooms updated and fresh. The clubrooms have their own private terrace and are nicely located a stone's throw from the beach. The club package includes breakfast and the selection is excellent. Afternoon tea between 3-4 pm is a nice touch as is the free cocktail hour at 6-7 pm. One final mention must be given to the staff who are most friendly and welcoming and delighted to help. Special mention to Man on the porter's desk who arranged our taxis, tickets and restaurant reservations.

Amazing vast white sandy beach, warm blue waters, rooms are spacious and modern, beautifully manicured grounds, breakfast is delicious with a wide variety of choice. We took advantage of the Sunday night all you can eat grill on the beach and it was heavenly. The customer service was incredible too. I accidentally left something in the garbage can, and after 3 hours coming back to the room I called the room service, they found the items within 30 seconds! I was so impressed! What a beautiful hotel! Can’t say anything negative about the accommodations and staff. Truly a relaxing stay. Grounds are well kept, the complimentary breakfast was incredible, they had everything you could imagine. I’d return just for the breakfast. Everything about our stay was perfect. There’s even a cute little shopping mall down the road to pick up bits and get a bite to eat, as well as a shop for necessities and a few nice boutiques. Good location, some good options for food and drink just a short walk along the beach.

The hotel was great. I had a room overlooking the ocean, the staff were super friendly, breakfast and meals were great and the room and bed were extremely comfortable. There are a few other bars, restaurants and massage places just down the beach for a bit of variety, cheaper and good to help the locals.

As a solo traveller, I value safety and comfort most of all. Dusit exceeded my needs by having a great team of helpful and friendly staff, who make you feel very taken care of during your stay. Never once did I feel unsafe or uncomfortable. The buffet breakfast has a good variety of local and European favourites. All the f&b outlets provided excellent service and food, and the best thing was 30% off food and 20% off drinks during low season. Even massages at the neighbouring angsana spa was on a 30% off rate! Of course being a monsoon season, the occasional unpredictable rain or strong winds do happen, but if you’re ok with cozying up in your room some nights with 99 baht pay-per-view movies, cold beer and snacks from the nearby family mart, it’s really such a peaceful stay. Easy access to the beach, great view, great service, great value during low season.

This hotel could bring you a full relaxation after living. Good service notably the reception and car park security guards. Another reason to cause my choices of Dusit Laguna that is its private beach and gym room. Btw, I am little unsatisfied about the housekeepers, as they always forgot to replace some daily goods such as towels, toilet papers.... I have never experienced it before in accordance with my past experiences (i.e. I selected this hotel for my vacation over 10 times in my life). What is more, their email reply speed was also so fast and efficient, so I believed that I will book it again when I go to Phuket next time.

Our stay at Dusit Laguna was awesome! The room was next to the sea beach and the lagoon. The staff is very friendly and the amenities very good. I hurt myself falling outside the hotel. the staff was very prompt in coming for first aid and then brought me back in a wheelchair. The only thing they can improve is the timing for breakfast. One is out on a holiday and the staff promptly winds up the breakfast by 10.15 only. The time should be extended to 11. Very good property.
