I booked the cheapest bungalow and left there for 3 days. What I didn't like: 1. Personnel behaved like I owe them money. 2. View to the pile of rubbish from the one side of the terrace 3. No refrigerator 4. No moskito nets, refuse to give me one, though photo in a room description shows mosquito net. This net is necessary, mosquitos get into the room. I usually take one with me, so it was not real problem. 5. The resort is placed on the other side of the road, unlike marked on the map, you should cross the road to get to the sea. Comparatively far from the beach, but not really far. About 7 mins walking 6. Dark walls in a small room (unlike the photo) 7. wifi only in the restaurant 8. No fruit market near that beach (Had Yao), you shell go to Had Salad or Sri Thanu about 1,5 - 2 km 9. Wall outlet doesn't hold the plug. Luckily previous guests tied a cord on the outlet to hold the plug. I liked: 1. Personnel helped me with everything i asked (except fridge and mosquito net) 2. wifi worked well enough 3. Not really far from the beach 4. Close to 7-11 5. Hot water, that was really necessary throughout the day except mid day. 6. Bungalows are placed on the hillside in such order that there is no direct view connection with your closest neighbours on their terraces. 7. Breeze let me even not to switch on the fan, and at night the blanket was necessary. Though there wasn't any. 8. Quality of food was satisfying, price not the highest on the beach. 9. Price for the room is the best thing of it all Summary: It is a pretty good place to start with, while looking for something really satisfying. I searched through the Had Yao and far to the north, to Had Salad, and it was the cheapest place with hot water. Other places considered hot water like something going alongside with air conditioning and were much more expensive. Air conditioning was not necessary for me during cold season (February)

Located right next to J.B Hut and if you have the choice, I definitely recommend JB over Easy Life. I felt like the staff didn't care about me and there was never anyone in the reception area.

Wonderful staff and bungalows! The bungalows are all on the side of a hill, so they have a nice view of the ocean and get a good breeze all day. Really clean and well maintained. Couldn't have asked for anything better!

Quiet location, lovely bungalows ”
This place is just off a quiet part of the island, nothing much going on. The bungalows are clean and adequate with sea views and a hammock with every bungalow. You would need to hire bikes to get around or taxis. The owner is one hell of a cook, haven't got a bad word to,say about the food. Every meal we had there (we had quite a few to say the least ) was lovely. Very chilled out with cushions on the floor and music in the evening. Spent a few hours just sat around playing cards. On check out they took us to the port for less than a regular taxi. So if you want quiet and chilled out then this is the place for you.

Not such an 'Easylife' unless you're young & fit”
Difficult to get to the bungalows, they're up a steep, gravelly access road, or via steep, grass covered, stone steps. Not ideal if you're even slightly infirm, or are carrying small children. The resort is a long way out of Hat Yao centre, up a very steep road, which adds to its difficult location. My room, at the top of the resort, was constantly veiled in smoke from the ever burning piles of leaves, in a fire pit, just below the last line of bungalows. Although the restaurant provided good food and drink, at reasonable prices, my enjoyment was spoilt by a group of long-stay Scandinavians, avoiding their endless winter nights, but commandeering the hi-fi system, for their own music, at too loud a volume. I had words with the culprits, but the management did nothing to help. I only stayed 2 nights before moving on to a better location, in Hat Salad. I wouldn't recommend Easylife, unless you like to be out of town and are fit enough to make the climb.

Better options in the same price range nearby.”
Although this place is cheap, there are better options closer to the beach for just a few more dollars. We ended up moving over to Silver Beach Bungalows and got a much nicer room for only 3 dollars more, and it is literally just steps to the beach. Easy life is way up on the hillside, with a 5 min. walk to the beach. The rooms are rustic and the beds are hard. Decent place considering the price, but better options are available nearby.

Look for cutting costs elsewhere ”
We booked this for a few days away from the party side and location was great. The bungalow however wasn't. We were quite far from the reception so WiFi wasn't working. The bed also had begbugs and the door wouldn't properly lock. We came back one night to it wide open. Admittedly we didn't tell reception because we only had another night and assumed other bungalows would be similar.

Humble stay”
I loved the Thai stilt-house style and that it's on a hillside it gave me a closer feel to mother nature. All houses look the same I ended up twice on someone's doorsteps. You'll find old beddings and old torn princess canopy inside, but the house is made of really strong timber. You can walk down to the beach about 750 meters and there's a 7/11 nearby. Their restaurant serves good food I loved the pineapple pork and the coconut shake. The staff were very kind to have let a kid lay on their well-polished wooden floor who had passed out from the previous night's partying. This area is very far from the Full Moon Party, but who cares coz nothing can stop you from having fun!

Not good but only views are nice”
Owner told he had new staff. One young treinee guy came to my bungalow throught open door and tried to flirt, not so nice. One night someone tried to break into bungalow throught the open window in terrace but I was inside at night! I wokw up and scared and yell him loud and I was ready for fight but didn't catch him because he escape. When I told the owner he listened and he was helpful. One day bungalow was full of ants or termites and bungalow is very old. Dirty bathroom. Wifi don't work in high bungalows, was not possible to work from there.

Terrible”
First of all there is no AC in the room. Any room (even though there was info at agoda that there should be AC) . It is super hot inside. I have stayed there two nights only and had 2 cockroaches and some other insects in the room. There is no mosquito nets. Everything is old and dirty. It is super difficult to find staff. You have to walk around the area and if you are lucky it will take you 15-30 minutes to find them. They do not speak English well so even if you found them it doesn't mean you will figure out your problem. Honestly DO NOT go there.

I would not book it again. It’s very simple wooden huts. Not maintained. Wifi is not working on the room and it’s also a 4G cellphone blind spot. Only cold water in the shower (Despite it has a heater - which is not working). Only fan. Room is super dark, especially at night since there is only one lamp. No mosquito nets on the window, so impossible to keep them open without having many mosquito in the room. Blanket which looks like a baby blanket, just bigger. Matrace is old and not comfy. Pillow is uncomfortable. They have only cleaned before checkin - not during the stay. Owner does not seem to care much at all. You get much better places for same or less on the Island.

Basic fan bungalow. Would be a nice ocean views but blocked by another bungalow. Bathroom is not ventilated so it smells and needs an update /clean. Had to take my own rubbish to the bin on the side of the road. Bin bags not replaced. Nice gardens.

La Mala experiencia de nuestro viaje por Tailandia ”
Hacía 4 meses que habíamos reservado y pagado ahí, para pasar 24 y 25 de Diciembre. Ni siquiera tenían en cuenta que llegábamos. El camino a los búngalos estaba en obra y los materiales depositados debajo del búngalo que nos dieron, por lo que los obreros iban y venían durante todo el día. Se cortaba el agua. Malísima la comida. Malísima ubicación, camino muy empinado desde la playa. Hay muchos lugares piolas y de excelente relación precio calidad en esa bahía. Ah, es el único lugar del país, y lo venimos recorriendo desde el hacia el sur, con malas caras, cero sonrisa.

Emplacement et vue top mais établissement pas très propre. Notre salle bain était infesté de fourmis, nos draps étaient troués et le sol manquait de céder. Toutefois vraiment peu cher donc je recommande pour les petits budgets qui ne recherchent pas le confort.
