Excellent,kind and helpfull staff and owner. Has been at the Ecodanang Hotel 2 times. and there is nothing to complain about. Wonderfull breakfast,Location,service,,,, Just book it,dont hesitate going to have a pleasant stay in Da Nang.

Great Impression!”

This was our first time in Vietnam overall. We flew into Da Nang and as soon as we arrived at EcoDanang, they greeted us so nicely! We booked for standard no window room, but because there was a free room available, they had upgraded us to a room with a window! The bedroom was very clean and homely. One of the receptionist girls called Quyen and her manager took good care of us. Quyen felt like a friend instead of a receptionist :) My boyfriend and I bought the wrong plug to charge our phones, so Quyen's manager went out her way to buy us one. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Da Nang!

New hotel with good location and nice rooms”

we stayed at the sunrise danang for a night, took a trip to hue where we stayed for 2 nights and then returned to the sunrise danang for another night. we went to hue by motorbike, and had originally intended to locate a store that rented motorbikes near the hotel. instead, we found that the hotel itself had motorbikes for rent, so we rented one for a total of 4 days. at first, they thought we wanted it to get around danang itself, so the staff gave us one of the bikes that many locals use - a sort of hybrid between a motorbike with gears and a scooter - it had gears but no clutch lever. upon learning of our plan to travel to hue by motorbike via the hai van pass, however, the staff scrambled overnight to get us a scooter with a larger engine so that we would not have to mess with gears on the mountain pass and the larger engine would more comfortably carry the two of us. the manager, mr klanh, then telephoned that same night, asking to meet us the next morning before we left. it turned out he was greatly worried for our safety, assuming us to be foreigners with no knowledge of how to ride motorcycles, and entreated with us to take the safer hai van tunnel to hue instead. the staff then scrambled to find us better helmets, and left us with strict instructions to call them for assistance should we encounter any difficulty at all on our trip. it is difficult to overstate just how far out of their way the staff at the sunrise danang went to make sure we were comfortable, safe and enjoyed ourselves.

Outstanding”

Everything at Ecodanang is great. Well furnished room,clean to a high standard. Spacious modern shower. Choice of breakfast. Excellent staff. 10 minute walk to the beach but that's no problem,there are some nice restaurants along the route. The cleanest & best value I have found in Vietnam.

Small hotel very near the beach”

this small hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the beach. it offers small but clean rooms. there is tv in the rooms. there is also wifi. if you're looking for other amenities, you're not going to find them here. however, my family and i weren't really looking for anything other than clean beds and a place that was convenient to the beach. this hotel is both. there is no breakfast, but the food that the hotel sells is quite good and at a very reasonable price. lastly, i have to mention the staff. even though their english is not great, they really went above and beyond the call of duty to make us feel welcome. my wife and i booked a day tour, and the hotel set the whole thing up with the tour company. well, the tour company ended up canceling the tour because not enough people signed up. our hotel staff was very apologetic, even though this was not their fault, and they scrambled to find another tour for us. that night, i ended up getting food poisoning from something i ate on the tour (again, not the hotel's fault), but they were a big help when it turned out i was going to need to go to the hospital. one staff member drove in the middle of the night to meet the ambulance, which was having trouble finding the hotel, and they followed him back so they could pick me up.

Good room with reasonable price”

Everything was fine and the room is pleasant to stay in. - All of the facilities were working normally (wifi, hot water, AC etc.) - Staffs were super friendly - Location is good and quiet. Da Nang is a small city so you can get a taxi to the city center within like 3-5 minutes. - Price was okay comparing to the quality. The only downside is probably the free breakfast since there was not much to eat. But since it's free so you can't really expect a full course buffet breakfast. Other than that, I would highly recommend this place.

Friendly hotel within walk to the beach”

Our hosts were very helpful with everything we needed. With China beach just 10 mins walk from the hotel it's good value for the family or for couples looking for a beach getaway on a budget. This is a fancy hotel, but the rooms are new and well designed with everything you need for a short stay near the beach. It's only a 50k (2.5usd) taxi across the bridge into town so it's not far from the action where there's many restaurants and a small nightlife along the Danang riverside.

Great stay”

Thid having been my second time in Danang. I booked the same hostel. It hasnt changed much. Still same although the area around is changing. Still good staff and close to sontra beach. Good breakfast. Only thing missing is the dragonfruit which they used to serve before. Besides that i would say it is the same as before.

Great staff, great place to stay, worth money”

My flight arrived in Danang at 2 am, couldn't find the hostel at the first place but found it eventually because of the sign. Great staff!! she woke up and had me check in at 2:30 am, she helped me a lot through maps and landmark places to go in Danang both side of the beach part and the city part! the staff rent a motorbike for me and booked a van for me from Danang to Hoi An for that night! and also helped me finding local tour guide in Hoi An which is free and really nice volunteers organization! had such a great time

Hotel , Location & Services”

What a wonderful stay at Sunrise Hotel Danang and this will be my choice if i return for a visit again. Ambience of the rooms nice decorated and services from the staffs is very helpful. ***stars hotel with a *****stars services , i am a hotelier myself a really recommend all of you to stay.

The price including BF cannot be beatable. Receptionist girl "Quyen" was very helpful and speaking fluent english. Absolutely recommend this place to all visiting Danang!

Good hotel”

This hotel was cute and has good facilities. it is newly built and thus modern. we stay in our room for the whole day after arriving. As we woke up late, the staffs bought some Pho for us and brough into the room. I'm not sure how good they are at English, as i communicate to them in Vietnamese. For cheap & beautiful in Da Nang, i highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect”

Great little hotel tucked down an alley behind a few bigger ones. Staff was super helpful, room was great - exactly as described, quaint little place well worth the price (which is much less than others in the area). Lots of fresh fruits and other options for breakfast, motorbike rentals available, short walk to the beach, and plenty of restaurants with a few minutes from the hotel. Highly recommended!

Clean and modern decorated hotel”

The hotel located nearby the beach but still take me 10 mins walk. No convenient shop nearby (almost the same in Da Nang), but nearby lots of restaurant..rent a bike will be the best option to explore Da Nang as the taxi fare will be frighten you if staying Da Nang in number of days.

great experience -out of expected”

Great experience with this hotel. I was in transit so no expectation with this kind of budget hotel but it gave me a nice impression. This is kinda a new hotel, modern design, clean and comfortable room; friendly and helpful staff (we communicated in Viet). they serve breakfast to your bed if required, it's ala carte meal, not buffet type thou and the food is so tasty. it takes me 5 mins to walk to the beach. beach here is beautiful and clean TIPS: 1. they do have hot water for shower but you have turn it on manually when needed as the system will automatically turn off if not in use a while (to save energy- i think). people who do not speak Viet, ask staff then since I saw the notice regarding to hot water in Viet 2. i super love the local dining restaurants (recommended by hotel staffs), cheap and soooo good

New Hotel with helpful staff”

We were not given the triple room as booked but we had a room with 2 double beds which fitted our family of 4 fine. We didn't complain. The room was very clean with extra care taken to put (fake) flowers on the beds daily to show that bit of extra care. The hotel is new, rooms were smallish size but everything you needed was there, big flat screen with good reception and an elevator. Very new and tidy. The front desk staff tried hard with their English and were very helpful. It is a bit further from the beach than we expected but still 'within' walking distance, however; we hired scooters which meant we got to get around easily with our two young children. There are not many shops for food close by but down at the beach we found several places with English translations on the menus, but 7Eleven's for kiddy snacks etc. hard to find. The hotel was very, very cheap but no breakfast which was a pain the first day, but after we hired scooters we were away.

small but nice hotel”

For the price i paid, I think it worth it. This hotel may consider a bit small but it is clean and comfort room with all the feature I require. It is also located with a walking distance to the popular My Khe beach. All lot of seafood restaurants located along the beach with a very busy surrounding.

Beachside in Da Nang”

This hotel is located about 10 minutes walk from the beach. It is a really nice beach and good for swimming if you do not look too closely at the plastic pollution. The breakfast is good with pretty standard items. I had the baguette with fried eggs regularly which were fresh and tasty. I was also given sometimes one banana and sometimes two and a coffee or tea. The rooms were kept clean by the hotel staff and the reception assistance was always helpful and efficient. There was a small fridge in the room for cold drinks. The bathrooms are very nice (and generally very clean) and the beds are very comfortable. This is a very comfortable place to stay if you want to be fairly close to the beach.

Good hotel, lovely reception”

Good staff and helped me to take the luggage at night time after my arrivial. The little staff was lovely and told me many information at vietnam. Room's facilities was acceptable and I enjoyed to stay at the hotel The only thing can be improved tourist should know how to ride the motorbike....as the hotel is very near to the beach (i.e. very far away from town and Big C)...you have to take motorbike for your convenience

It was ok!”

I went to Da Nang with my parents, it was hard to find a room with one double bed and one single bed for 3 adults. Sunrise Hotel Da Nang has that type of room with a reasonable price named triple room. After I booked the room on Agoda, it said Max Occupancy is 2, I called the Hotel and asked, the receptionist confirmed there won't be any surcharges for the 3rd person. However, on the day we arrived they asked for surcharge with the reason is Agoda said the room is for 2 only. The good thing is after we got our room, the receptionist called to the room and confirmed that they won't charge us anything. The staff were nice, friendly and helpful to book for your taxi and/or private car if you want to travel to My Son and Hoi An. The room was pretty small, hot water was not stable and water pressure was weak. The hotel is far away from the center and the beach. If you don't mind to walk to the beach and/or spend some money on cabs to the center to find a good restaurant, there won't be any issues for you. I only stayed there for 3D2N so that would be fine but definitely find something else for a longer stay in the future!
