My husband and I were on our honeymoon in the Philippines (from CAN) and have to say this was one of the most special places we’ve been to. From the hospitality, to the food, to the excursions, to the beauty of the resort itself - this island resort is spectacular! It is well worth every penny, and it is somewhere I would recommend to anyone travelling to Palawan! A few shoutouts to the amazing staff: Mar was our server at lunch and made every interaction memorable - he was the nicest and SO attentive. Julix was very personable and kept us hydrated at the pool bar, serving the tastiest cocktails. Mark was also amazing as his support on the bar! Joy was always so friendly and provided the best assistance at all meals. To only name a few above, but know there was no shortage of support and every interaction was kind and seamless across all staff. Kudos to the Pangulasian team for their level of hospitality and for making us feel special! We will be back.

Staffs were all professionally trained. Service was awesome. The rates is expensive, but it was inclusive of 3 meals and some activities. The room was excellent and just everything was perfect for me!!! I definitely would go back there again! 100% recommendation.

Chef Carols was amazing! He went out of his way to cook gluten free meals for my spouse. The scuba diving was the best thing I did, it is a must see/do! The staff really are the nicest, sweetest people. They are part of the "paradise" feeling you get when visiting there. The food was excellent, the island hoping (complimentary) was wonderful. I saw fish, turtles, star fish. Beautiful stars at night, awesome sunset and sunrise. Very private, very relaxed. Perfect for couples. The vacation of a lifetime!

Good but not amazing ”
Resort island location is great and the villas are nice and spacious. The staff are all fantastic. Daily activities to nearby islands were well organised. However, the beach in front of the resort is no longer powder white sand as in photos, instead lots of rocks and pebbles have been blown onto the beach from last storms. Still nice, but perhaps not as pristine as we had imagined

Paradise with some tweaking”
We spent 2.5 days at El Nido Pangulasian - Best possible location, right in the heart of El Nido Islands. Everywhere you look, the scene is Paradise - Resort activities were world class exceptional in particular the Small Lagoons, Island Hopping - Although friendly, at times the communication and synchronization between staff and departments seems uncoordinated. Management should improve this - World class service from the following staff: Eric (Front OFfice), Yann (Activities Coordinator), Jo-Star and Richard (Activities Officers). - Although we arrived early, the check-in process did not feel consistent (some guests were checked in before others) and we had to clarify a few times about when our room would be ready and ended up waiting a few hours. Not a great start but the staff in particular Eric tried their best to find solutions. Once resolved, we had a great experience - Food was average Overall 4.5/5 stars due to world class location, activities and some exceptional staff!

Beautiful resort but just way overpriced”
We spent 3 nights at the Pangulasian. Getting to/from the resort/El Nido airport is quite tricky and time consuming so keep that in mind. The resort is very beautiful and the room was quite nice. The layout is quite enough but the front beach is more or less destroyed due to climate change and rising sea water level. If the weather is good then it’s a very nice resort to spend time in. But if it’s bad, it can be quite frustrating as there’s nothing to do. This happened to us on the 1st day. The food is extremely limited for the high price they charge. Very small selection of fresh salad and fruits considering topical fruits shouldn’t be an issue in Palawan. Any alcoholic products (wine, liquor, beers) is very expensive for Philippines level and the quality is bottom tier. The included tours were good but if if you want to do anything different then it will be additional fees. Overall, our stay was good but definitely not worth the price we paid. Not sure we’d come back.

Best resort in Philippines ”
We stayed at the resort for 6 days to celebrate our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived to El nido airport they took care of everything! picked us up, took our bags, provided lounge and more. The hotel is on a beautiful tropical island with clear water about 25 min by boat from the airport. Throughout our stay the staff were exceptional, best I seen and I travel a lot. The rooms are very big and comfortable (mostly the beach vila) which is right above the beautiful beach. The food and drinks are pretty good and not very expensive and the massage treatments are amazing in a reasonable price (really recommend to try!) The hotel provides many activities and tours for no costs as well as private tours. Spending the time in the main pool was perfect, the view is one of a kind and the pool water is the perfect temperature. The only things we were surprised about was that the hotel didn't say or do anything about our honeymoon as it wasn't just another vacation for us.

Overall: had a wonderful 3 night stay on this paradise island. The room & activities were excellent. Only major let down was the very sub-par food/chef/menu which needs serious improvement to justify hefty hotel price tag. Pros: incredible island, amazing rooms, excellent complimentary activities. Cons: food quality is no where near good enough, menu is so broad there aren't any specialities, communal areas (eg. resto, reception, pool bar) feel a little tired and the pool needs an in-built filter to clear all the bugs/leaves.

Palawan Heaven”
Everything was put together so well and it was so organized. The staff I would give a million stars to. They were always happy and helpful. The food, drinks, vibe was just perfect. We took advantage of all the activities they had to offer and each was just as good as the one before. Best massage of my life was here. We can’t wait to go back again. If I had to give any criticism it would be to find ways to have us stay longer. After our three day trip we probably did and saw everything. Which was perfect. But if we were to stay longer I could see some days repeating itself. Which would not be a bad thing at all. But I would love to stay there for two weeks next time with ways of avoiding repetition entirely. Besides that, this destination should be a bucket list location for anyone reading this review. 1000 stars.
