Beautiful spacious resort in lush surroundings”
The Emeralda is such a beautiful resort and it’s so easy to just spend hours walking around. My room was great, nice bed and clean. There is an outdoor and indoor swimming pool. I had a massage at the spa - it was one of best I’ve had, highly recommended. The food is fine, over priced, but that was expected. All the staff were so lovely. The only real downside for me (and through no fault of the resort) was the very noisy families that managed to consume every quiet spot in the resort. I live in Vietnam, so I am used to it, but I guess it’s more noticeable when you’re in such a quiet environment (and after little tourism for 2 years I’m probably just not use to it!)! I was here for the week day so I dread to think what the weekend will be like! Little tip - use the swimming pool between 12-3 when it’s the quietest! It’s definitely worth the visit though and I am sure I’ll come again!

Just a tip, dont take the trip organised by the hotel it charges per person and very expensive. Otherwise everything else is great, restaurants are great, rooms are great. We do fishing and little walk inside the hotel, and did a Trang An boat trip it was stunning

Simply the best place to stay for miles.....”
We booked two nights at the Emeralda hotel at the end of a busy week in Vietnam and it was like stepping into an oasis of calm and tranquility. We had a duplex room so had the benefit of sleeping downstairs with the kids upstairs. Room was huge, overlooked a beautiful garden and we slept to the sound of crickets outside and woke to the birds chirping! Staff could not have been more helpful, anything you ask for is never too much trouble. Breakfast was THe best spread I have ever encountered with every conceivable offering from local to Thai to Western to European ..... we absolutely indulged ourselves each morning. The grounds are large and they provide golf buggy transfers as you need then to get around- it also makes a perfect. Base for exploring the nearby tourist attractions. I wish we had had longer at this beautiful hotel.... we will definitely return!

Some facilities were quite old, but we had ours on promo so it's really worth our money. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, water pressure and internet is strong, and a complete breakfast spread with so many options. We love our short stay, and will definitely be back again.

Great for all seasons even in the winter. I came here for business and relaxing and this place met both purposes. Everything were great, love the architecture and atmosphere. Great service and nice staffs. Except for the wifi is not so strong, just acceptable. And they don't have night meal after 10 p.m, even cup noodles. Not a minus point if you don't eat after dinner^^

Quite serene location ”
The location is away from main Ninh Binh town, in a beautiful serene location. If you are looking to relax in a quite place with all amenities, this is an excellent location. The old rustic charm this proprty has makes it even more grand. The spa is also highly recommended. One can easily get a cab to the main town to spend the day.

Relax holidays for foreigners in Vietnam”
Good to feel relax, do nothing, just sleeping, swimming, and eating. Quite, clean, covenient for moving in the resort with free electronic cars. Foods are not satisfied. The inclusive Breakfast is ok. The lunch and dinner at the Organic restaurant is not satisfactory... expensive but not delicious enough for the price. Organic means not delicious? Overall, recommend for relaxing inside the resort.

Resort is really well kept and room was very nice. Pool just outside the room, with main pools nearby. Staff service and buggy was great! Highly recommended for gateaway but could be a little far from Tam Coc area.

Lovely, relaxing stay at a good price”
We had a great time - very relaxed and relaxing. The facilities are good, the two pools - one warmer than the other - are lovely, I loved the gardens and the room decor. Only thing that lets the place down a bit is the food - only one restaurant was available, with a boring menu, high prices and not very tasty when it came. Otherwise this is a great place for a weekend out of Hanoi.

The resort is located near the Van Long wetlands, you can rent a bike for a fee at the reception. The room is very nice, there is a private pool for every cluster and 2 pools in the restaurant area (outdoor and indoor with warm water). The resort is beautiful and green and the staff is friendly

Everything is good. Resort is very flexible to support customer due to covid policy. Pool indoor is not really warm. Kid club is dirty, I even see rat droppings on toys.
