Great place. The breakfast great and so is the food. However if you order the same dish on 2 days then each time it will be different - be it in serving size, taste or presentation. The staff are great everywhere. They are really helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Beware the traffic to get to the hotel is often jammed. Strategic place for short stay near malls at Kelapa Gading. There’s a great coffee shop nearby you guys should def give try. Would stay here again for short visit to East Jakarta.

A decent accommodation, but fall short of expectation”
I decided to book Favehotel Kelapa Gading after an extremely satisfactory stay with Favehotel Gatot Subroto. Although the price was slightly lower, I held both on the same standard as they are part of the same chain. Unfortunately although the staffs were as great as my previous stay, the room proved to be a disappointment. First, there was no natural light. Second, there were some problems with the room. The door was problematic (secondary lock was half missing and the door does close easily), and the sink was leaking (I asked for it to be repaired but seemed like that the receptionist forgot to send in the maintenance). The amenities were lacking too. If in the previous hotel I had: face towel, tea/coffee making set, an extra roll of toilet paper, and a phone with information on how to reach the front desk; those were missing in this one. Fourth, I smelled cigarettes although I was placed in a non-smoking room. The corridor was also quite dark and not well aerated. The housekeeping started their work quite early that I was woken up at 8am by the cart noise. The surrounding of the hotel did not feel safe too, as it was quite dark. Although I understand that people don't usually walk around the area, the fact that it is located in a walking distance from Gading Food City should mean that people can walk without feeling uncomfortable. All and all, I felt a bit of a disappointment because of my previous experience with Favehotel that was very satisfactory. I think the saving grace of this stay was the staffs who were extremely helpful and accommodating. It would be great if the hotel invest a little bit in the maintenance and maybe try to maintain a similar standard across the chain.

Small room, clean, near mall, friendly staff”
So far two times staying here always get a helpfull and friendly staff, but the room i get always not the same as I booked.. First time I asked 1 big bed they give twin bed, and the second one I booked non smoking but they give smoking room, so I should spray the room with a air refreshner.. other then that the staying in favehotel kelapa gading was pleasent
