All inclusive resort.”

Everything you need in one resort. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet, relaxing experience.
On both occasions I visited, they were working on the beach. Wifi is only working in the restaurant and the hotel foyer.

This was the second time I visited the resort. The first time I had a standard room, which was right at the end of the resort, behind the tennis court, but still comfortable. This time I decided to treat ourselves and book a de luxe room, which was near the superb pool and the restaurant. We had a balcony which had a view over the ocean and that was quite pleasant (but noisy because of machinery near by). This resort has proper aicon installed , which means the noise is kept outside and it is very quiet and pleasant inside. The room was most comfortable with a good bathroom. I noticed that there was a connecting door to the room next to us and although it was occupied, we didn't hear any noise. The pool is very pleasant and i have never seen more than half a dozen people using it and in spite of the work to upgrade the private beach, it was still fine to use it and enjoy a read and a drink under the coconut sunshades. In a way this resort is isolated but the hotel offers a free shuttle to Tagbilaran every morning so it is easy to escape if you want. They also organise excursions if you want. I decided to use their services for a boat trip to see the dolphins and was impressed by the service. The snag there is that you have to wake up early, but the hotel gives you a ring at 4 am , have a full breakfast ready for you at 4.30 ( where else in Europe do you get that?) and your boat is waiting for you by the private beach. In fact after I booked, they announced that we could have a smaller boat which would be PHP 1000 cheaper, very honest! The resort is quite near Alona beach and I hesitated about booking a hotel there. Now I am glad I chose Flushing meadows. The staff at Flushing Meadows are among the most friendly people I have met. They make you feel at home, they are always smiling and nothing is too much effort for them to help you. I arrived in Tagbilaran by bus and gave them a ring and they sent one of their cars to pick us up. So it is worth having t

Excellent hotel to stay beautiful location”

Private beach only for hotel residents , white sand and safe bathing , good Sercuity at hotel ,

When we returned to the uk and spending 2 weeks vacation in the Phillipines , we stayed at flushing Meadows just for 1 night , we were very happy with our stay , we could easily have spent the whole 2 weeks there. We had a standard room it was clean and not to far from the beach and the swimming pool and restuarant , about 3 minutes walk from our room , all of the staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for you , the breakfast was good with plenty of choice , we ate at the resturant in the evenings good and clean , with a live traditional local band , it is in a great location 4 minutes walk to the private beach , what we likes about the beach it was only for hotel residents , nice white sand and safe bathing , we would spend time there again , It was a fair price , many of the resorts at the island didnt have private beaches were miles away from the beaches we had noticed on our travels , this hotel stood out from the other hotels locations , my tip is when arriving from Cebu on the ferry , do a deal with a private taxi to take you to the hotel will cost you no more than 400 pesco we did a good deal with the taxi driver to take us on a day tour of all the local attractions for 2000 Pesco he picked us up from the hotel and spent the day with us ,

My Stay in Flushing Meadows Panglao, Bohol”

Excellent services and complete facilities.
The front desk that time is lacking enough courtesy most especially when I reported her about my lost mobile phone. That's why I felt I still needed to contact the owner regarding the matter.

We had a fantastic stay at the Flushing Meadows. The guest service is superb. They have complete facilities. We had a 3 days and 2 nights stay. Our request in Agoda was completely provided. You met our expectations in the room we have requested. The overall cleanliness of the resort is excellent. I and my husband felt very safe in this resort. Actually, I left my mobile phone in our room and they took immediate action on it. My phone was shipped after three days. The management is very good. I highly recommend Flushing Meadows most especially for city people who wants to unwind and relax.

The Honeymoon We Wanted- Quiet and Private”

We were lucky that we were able to book during a busy weekend. The service who picked us up at the port was still available even though we changed our arrival time. The place is huge and comfortable. The property is quiet and private which made the stay more worth while. The staff are friendly, polite, and very accommodating. They provide tour packages which is convenient for tourists to explore the island. We availed the countryside tour which both my husband and I enjoyed so much. There’s an available transportation(tricycle) at night which we hired going to Alona and back. Our room was beautiful! We got the room beside the infinity pool. The bathroom was cool, it felt like you’re in the forest taking a relaxing bath. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in Flushing Meadows for our honeymoon. The great staff contributed so much of how comfortable we were staying at the resort. Thank you!!

Quality waterside resort with friendly service”

Really friendly service, amazingly beautiful tennis court,
The least expensive room was nothing special at all, weird interaction with the dive shop

I was really impressed by Flushing Meadows. It was a very pleasant resort and seems like it would work well for couples or for families. I did not try the videoke but it looked fun and is a nice amenity to have at the resort. The resort is away from Alona Beach, so you are mainly limited to the resort restaurant unless you travel by vehicle somewhere else. In addition to the transfer service for arrival and departure, there is also a convenient shuttle to the city twice per day. The tennis court looked absolutely perfect: if you want to play tennis on your holiday, this would be the place! The staff at Flushing Meadows is really sharp: I was greeted promptly at the airport by a friendly driver. He also transferred me to the ferry terminal when I left. Same goes for the hotel staff: friendly and helpful even though I did not book any "extras" through the hotel like tours. I booked the least expensive room, and it was satisfactory but not particularly luxurious. The luxury at Flushing Meadows are the grounds and gardening themselves. On arrival I asked to speak with the dive shop, but then was later told they would not be able to meet with me at all the following day. I would suggest that when this is the case, Flushing Meadows offers to connect the guest to another dive shop nearby (there is certainly no shortage). Not a big downside: I would happily stay at Flushing Meadows again!

Absolutely Amazing Private Beachfront Resort ”

Staff, Infinity Pool, Private Location

Before booking, my friend and I were rather nervous when seeing the negative reviews. I honestly have no idea what they are talking about. This hotel was an amazing choice for our vacation in Bohol and the staff made the difference between it being great to perfect. Perks: The resort itself is beautiful. It is located about 15 minutes from Tagbilaran City, and has its own private beachfront. There are beautiful trees, flowers, and buildings all around the grounds. Staff are extremely aware of making it clean. Their friendliness is infectious and everyone smiles all the time. The infinity pool is AMAZING. Most importantly, the restaurant staff were fantastic. They were attentive, polite, respectful, and very friendly. We saw other people who were staying at the resort treat them like servants, which got me rather upset. The level of attention to each guest was unparalleled to any place I have been before. Treat the staff well and tip often. They deserve it. We enjoyed Jupiter, Ahmed, Albert and Marc the most. Star treatment was given here and I am extremely happy with our stay. Cons: We envisioned a deserted beachfront, but found it to be a little different. Not bad, just different. The beach itself on either side of the resort is beautiful, but the resort property has a sand layer built above with stairs leading into the water. We assumed it was to prevent erosion as the waves could be a little high on windy days. We were not disappointed, but just didn't get that view on the website. The water was still bright blue and it looked stunning when sitting a little further back to enjoy the view. One more con would be the high prices of the Spa. We loved going there, but after comparing prices locally, we saw that the prices were extremely jacked up. I assume the resort pockets most of it, and gives a small portion to the women who commute to fill appointments. The same goes for the restaurant staff, who were the highlight of my stay there.

Very nice and relaxing resort”

nice view of the sea, beautiful infinity pool

we enjoyed our stay at flushing meadows resort. we had our much needed relaxation when we went there. we had the resort almost to ourselves since it was off peak season. we can take all the pictures we want and wonder around without disturbing anyone. the beach area is ok since you can walk there during low tide but it is dirty during high tide. we were a little dissatisfied with the serving of one of our meals, we ordered "bulalo" worth P420 just to be given a huge bowl of soup, vegetables and 3 small pieces of meat. how can we eat well with that. overall we love our stay there but i hope there will be improvements on the servings of the food.

Nice you have a guestbook”

We certainly enjoyed our stay at Flushing Meadows.. the villas are fantastic, and the staff were always there to give advice or assistance when needed! Price was great, especially in comparison to some places at nearby. We recommend Flushing Meadows to anyone, especially to couples! Hope to go back to Flushing Meadows sometime in the future without a doubt!
none, almost perfect for the couple

At the Flushing Meadows was great in service, accommodation, location & everything. We loved the place a lot. Everything is well-organized like a 5-star hotel but in a very low price. Thanks for their hospitality. They made it sure that their guests are VIPs and have nothing to worry about. We had a short vacation that’s why we could only stay there for 3days but the experience is truly amazing and would be our best and memorable date together. Wish we could have stayed there longer. See you there!

Food is blah, but staff was attentive and very nice. The pool area is beautiful as is the whole resort apart from the beach area. It wasnt what i expected and its not the kind of beach where you can lounge by the shore or swim. Overall, flushing meadows is a beautiful resort and the rooms are decent and clean.

More affordable with all the amenities that you need in a resort”

If you're looking for a quiet place to stay in panglao island, i would recommend this place. It has a lot of amenities like the infinity pool, kiddie pool, playground, tennis court, billiards, spa. You can also enjoy water activities for free like pedal boat and kayak. Sad that we didn't enjoy the sea though bec of big waves. The cons? It's in a secluded area that's why it's not crowded. Tricycle going to Bohol bee farm costs 150 max of 3pax. they also offer free one way van transfer to BQ mall in tagbilaran that has 1030am and 230pm schedule. wifi is a bit slow but who needs it when you're already tired with the activities :)

a nice and comfortable hotel”

very friendly staff, clean rooms and very attentive stuff

Our stay at the flushing meadows hotel was really good. When we arrived we got a delicious welcome drink(four seasons juice). I really appreciated the friendlyness of the hotel staff. When i was reading reviews from former guests, they seemed not to be happy bout the staff, but i HONESTLY can say the staff was very friendly, nice and attentive! Even though, i have to admit, that the resort is a little bit old. I guess the buildings havent been renovated for years and the amenities in the rooms are not up to date. Everything was clean and worked properly but a little bit old. To sum up, we had a great time and its always the people who make the place! thank you flushing meadows team!

Friendly service”

Well-trained staff; clean and well-maintained facilities

I brought along my parents (both over 70), who enjoyed their stay in the resort, as I did. The staff were very helpful (especially to my mom who needed a little help negotiating elevated areas) and friendly. Requests were quickly attended to. I particularly liked the dinner set-up on the beach, complete with entertainment (e.g. band or acoustic guitar), during our first two nights. However, when the dinner was brought back to the bar / restaurant on our third night, the band played too loudly. They should have chosen more mellow songs on a much more intimate setting. The resort's P600-charge for a two-way trip to the nearby Bohol Bee Farm (10 minutes away) was a bit expensive, but I guess this is expected in a place where there are limited options for transportation. It's a good thing that Bohol Bee Farm is worth visiting. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay in the resort, and we enjoyed our day trip in the various sites (Chocolate Hills, Loboc River, Man-Made Forest, etc.) in Bohol.

Our group occupied 2 deluxe rooms just right behind the reception area - which was good because we had 3 senior citizens with us. Since we went after the peak season was over, we almost had the entire resort to ourselves! The staff we're very kind and accommodating; the rooms we're clean and pleasant. From our rooms, which had a balcony, we had a view of the beach. Their beach area is cut-off from it's neighbors which makes it seem like a private resort. Overall, the stay was very relaxing and pleasing. The only thing we didn't like was the first gush of water from the bathroom smelled a bit odd. But after letting it flow for a few seconds, the water smells fine. Plus, the size of the bathroom is so big! If we come to Bohol again, I wouldn't think twice to book in this resort. Plus, the food from their restaurant is really good!

Front desk staff were excellent in helping with questions”

I found the staff very helpful at Flushing Meadows Resort. The room style was older but the general atmosphere of the place and the gardens were immaculate. The beach was very nice. We enjoyed being so close to the beach and having the morning swim. The water certainly was cleaning in the morning during high tide. This is a good place for families with young children.

Flushing Meadows”

Great pool, excellent restaurant and friendly staff
Not close to main beach - Alona and resort from some what isolated from other restaurants

The Fushing Meadows Hotel has a treat pool, excellent restaurant and friendly staff. The room was very clean and well maintained. The day tour to the interior of the island was excellent as well as the transfers to and from the Airporat and ferry dock. The main drawback of the resort was close to main beach - Alona and resort from some what isolated from other restaurants. Also the beach very small and swimming was difficult in low tides,

Pleasantly Pleased”

The room is very clean and nice. Beach front is also very clean and the sand is fine. Housekeeping staff very efficient and quick to respond to requests. Had a good massage as well. Live band was very good.
Food is a bit pricey. Massage at P1,200 is a bit pricey compared to other local resort prices.

Flushing Meadows is a nice resort for those who would like some privacy. The beach front though small is nice and has fine white sand. Resort is nicely laid out with very clean facilities. Personnel are very attentive to the guests needs. The only area for review maybe are the food and massage prices. I also heard that their tour and boat prices are a bit expensive. Management might want to take a look at them to be competitive with other resorts.

Summer in Bohol”

Clean facilities (especially the bathrooms), well-functioning air-conditioner in the room, friendly staff, hot and cold shower
Expensive food, little food choices; beachfront shortened by a mini-dike; far from night life

All in all, our stay was quite enjoyable. Because the facilities are well-maintained, it was always nice to come back to a clean, cold room after the day's activities under the scorching sun. There's a kiddie pool by the dino park, and an infinity pool over-looking the sea. Didn't enjoy the beach though as it was "diked" over to prevent the flotsam from dirtying the sand. Had to do sun-bathing by the pool. Ideally, 4 days is the minimum to stay in Bohol, if you want to tour the island and shop a bit for souvenirs (1 day), go island hopping, dolphin-watching and snorkling (1 day), enjoy the resort facilities (1 day).
