Beautiful stunning place away from crowds. Sally & family were so welcoming & friendly to us newlyweds "The Cooks" on our wedding night & even added a few special personal touches which was so lovely and unexpected. Really overwhelmed by it and we will treasure the special memories of our happy day and first day as newly weds as we stayed for a few nights for a mini honeymoon. Could not do enough for us, breakfasts were beautiful and the room was beautiful, clean and cosy. Fresh farm poached eggs were gorgeous. 😋 My husband enjoyed the home made jam. Surrounded by nature and animals was lovely. Even loved the chickens jumping up the steps and peering in the front door to say hello was fabulous. We will definitely be returning for our 1st Wedding Anniversary and would recommend staying here to anyone as it is just a lovely place and you feel like you are around family. We loved everything! The bedroom and bathroom were exceptional, so comfortable and absolutely spotless. The bath and shower were luxurious, and all the extra touches such as fresh flowers and chocolates were lovely. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, especially the homemade marmalade! Sally was the most welcoming hostess and her local knowledge helped make our stay even more enjoyable.

This is an exceptional b and b. Large self contained unit with own entrance onto garden. Equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. Beautiful, very quiet location. Sally was an attentive host and her breakfasts delicious.

What a great place this is, just outside Whitby, spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed and there is literally everything there that you will need. The owners are friendly and the breakfast is superb, it was a lovely couple of days spent on the glorious North Yorkshire Moors- definitely recommend.

I would highly recommend this property. It is a very comfortable spacious and very private room in a secluded and beautiful location, but not too far from all the buzz of Whitby. Sally is extremely welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble and you will want for nothing. What more can I say? EXCELLENT

We were greeted by Sally with warmth and we felt at home straight away everything was perfect ,lots of special touches,Fresh flowers and a drawer full of everything we might have forgotten for our needs.It was spotlessly clean we couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Loved the relaxed location and the facilities, my wife especially loved the stand alone bath. Breakfast was superb as was the owners who both welcomed us into there home.

Only thing was lack of outdoor lights when I needed to go to the car in the evening but it certainly wouldn’t stop us coming again.

Accommodations were exceptional and the hosts a pleasure to talk to. A very beautiful setting and a place we will definitely use again if given the opportunity. Great breakfast, and a bonus that the eggs were fresh and the Bramble jam homemade.

Everything good. Location brilliant, breakfast well presented and tasty. Nothing too much trouble. Loved the ‘natural way’ the hens were allowed to wander around the backyard. Most enjoyable stay.

Lovely location and the accommodation was amazing. The hosts were really friendly and made us so welcome. The breakfast was fabulous and kept us going all day. Will definitely return!

Sally was lovely and very accommodating, providing toiletries and little room extras above and beyond what is stated. Breakfast was exceptional, very tasty produce and fresh eggs from her hens! I enjoyed the deep bath, really relaxing :)
