Hotel is nice and room looks renovated lately. Free WiFi is slow and it requires extra charge for higher speed. Breakfast buffet is okay. Hotel staff’s help came fast. Abundant hotel facilities will not make night life boring.

Location is not ideal if you want to see the central. The hotel looks old and outdated but generally clean and staff are friendly.

High standard hotel”
Hotel room is huge and comfortable though they can do better on the bed mattress and pillows. Hotel is under going upgrading but noise is control to a minimum without discomforting guests. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The chambermaid did not do any housekeeping in my room because I make a mistake and hang the wrong sign on the door. When I came back after shopping and realise housekeeping was not done, I called up the front desk and within 5 minutes, the chambermaid was in my room and it took her less than 10 minutes to change the bedsheet, pillow cases, empty the bins, clean the toilet, change fresh towels etc etc. She's very fast and efficient and front desk called up 3 times to ensure everything is okay and that's what I called excellent customer service .. follow up to ensure everything is okay. There's a pretty big gym and swimming pool on the 5th floor. Breakfast is adequate to keep your stomach full. There's a casino on the first floor and KTV nite club in the basement.

Rooms in Novotel style, clean and with all comfort. Breakfast is lausy, due to poor coffee quality and mainly Vietnamese food. The aircon in the room made terrible noise all night and sleeping wasn‘t possible.

Overall Fortuna Hotel is good. I have never missed to stay in this hotel whenever i visit Hanoi. Never have a slightest idea to change to other hotel except after my last visit. I went to Hanoi in group of friends who stayed in this hotel from 6th Dec to 9th Dec. . All rooms had been paid (thro' Agoda.) One of my friends had to return back to Malaysia earlier on the 8th Dec. Since the room (with bfast) had been paid until 9th Dec, we kept the room unoccupied for a night and checked out together with the rest on the 9th. Dec. My disappointment came about when I was denied to use the bfast allocation (of this unoccupied room) on the next morning by hotel management. This is absurd and ridiculous. The room with bfast had been paid but yet could not utilize the bfast allocation/voucher. I feel the hotel management is not professional in handling the guests or the policy is not flexible to make guest happy.

On a major street with a huge divider in the middle of that street so cars are forced to make U-turns in one direction which is normally where you will be coming from whether it be from the city center or the airport. Aside from this, everything you would expect from the 3-4 star hotel.

Extremely disappointed for the money paid and the services received in return”
Do not fall for this. First, they charged 2x99 USD + some random $40 for stay. They gave nothing. Internet was a heck. Just 512 Kbps for free access. You go to a local cheap restaurant next to the building and you will get the unlimited high speed internet for free. After checkin in the counter - no one bothered to help in moving the suitcase to the room. The room was upgraded to 2 people - they made arrangements only for single person. My another group of friends who also travelled together, got rooms from Air**b, and was cheap and better in terms of facility / hospitality etc.

It’s not a hotel - it’s a brothel. Very sinister people around !”
Simply, do not stay here. The value for money is shocking - bad location, simple rooms for a lot of money. Much nicer and classier hotels in the centre of the city. Avoid the Boss Bar - it’s a scam and a brothel (quite literally). The worst thing is that there is a feeling of sleaze and a gangster attitude. I felt safe when I left.
