The hotel is located on Jln Hayam Wuruk, Gajah Mada near Harmoni Bus Stop. Excellent location. Reached hotel at around 10 AM. Was registered promptly but as no room was available, could check in only at after 1.30 pm. I had left my baggage at the concierge. There was some minor confusion retrieving my baggage after checkin as the concierge staff had not tagged it properly. However, it was retrieved after a thorough check by the staff. Very friendly staff. Always smiling and ready to help. Will stay here again.

Not not the cheapest nor the most expensive choice in Gajah Mada/Harmoni area. I have used many. It is comparable, I think, to All Seasons. Our room was smallish/compact but bright and had all the basic inroom facilities of a 4 star hotel. We paid extra for breakfast and it was excellent. Better than 4 star. I would recommend Yello on a cheap night but it may not be priced competitively on an expensive night… which, I suspect, might be mid-week with business customers, rather than travellers.

The stay was fabulous. Came during the Hari Raya period. Arrived early noon. Check-in took me about 5 minutes and was relatively painless. I stayed on the 15th floor (non-smoking level). You feel really safe in the hotel with the usual card access required in lifts, several locks on your door etc. The room was so comfortable I had a hard time trying to get out of bed every morning. As I preferred to try local food nearby, I didn't try the hotel food so I can't really comment much but they do have an interesting menu. The shower room struck me the most. It is the transparent with, of course, a shower curtain for those who aren't traveling alone and a steel square shower head option. The water could be adjusted to hot spring temps which is something I really enjoy, especially after hours of combing through Jakarta. Very clean. Immersed myself in hours of good quality cable TV at night. The ambience in the hotel lobby is quite good. There is an pleasant aroma throughout the hotel and a bar with an interesting in-house tree deco that you can order a wine and relax in. For those who may be interested, check out time was 11:00 local time. Information that may be useful to those who want to stay in the hotel: Basic Shopping: Gajah Mada Plaza with a hypermart is just opposite the hotel, there is a 7-11 on the right and Mcdonalds'(standalone building) on the left. Very convenient. Getting to Hotel: I decided to take public transport. From the airport, I took Damri bus to Gambir Train Station for IDR 30.000. Then, I hop onto a Transjakarta bus for IDR 3.500 nearby from Gambir to Olimo station which is just opposite the hotel. One of the perks of this hotel. No fuss and relatively safe. If you want to take taxi, choose Blue Bird/Silver Bird or you may find yourself being overcharged.

Good location with many food options within walking distance. Right next to LTC Glodok, about 1 km from Grand Paragon mall. Got free upgrade to executive deluxe just for booking with Agoda so got myself a big room with big toilet. Also got a big swimming pool and many other facilities that you’d expect of a 4-star hotel. Would likely stay here again if I’m back in Jakarta.

Only stay for 1 night, having a good rate for a 5 star hotel is my first priority for choosing a hotel. And Merlynn Park Hotel is the choice for mine that night. Excellent rate for a 5 star hotel booked from Agoda. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was very nice. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone who will be staying near Gajah Mada area.

Novotel Gajah Mada has always been my first choice hotel whenever I go to Jakarta. The hotel is fairly new and the service is always excellent right from the security personnel, the concierge, the front office & housekeeping. The rooms are reasonably sized, very comfortable beds, decor is modern and the detailing is just fine. It is value for money and the location is just fantastic as it is located right in the middle of Jalan Gajah Mada, very close to nice restaurants & entertainment places. There is also a 7 Eleven store within the building which is so very convenient should you require some necessities. Taxis are so easy to get and banks, money changers are also within a few minutes walk away.

This is a rather new hotel in Gajah Mada area. Clean and comfortable room. Good value for money. Will come back.

Pas sampe, eh seneng bgt krn ranjang nya uk king. Hotel skrg banyakan queen size. Maklum saya ber4 tdr nya. Kamarnya bersih. Shower n toilet jg bersahabat. Breakfast nya pasnkedapetan menu yg chinese n indo. Pengennya dpt american, macam sosis sm kentang goreng. Hehehe... tp ok kog. Soto ayam ok, cappuccino enak, ada cereal buat anak. Nasi liwet nya terlalu lembek, ayam goreng nya agak sedikit bau diri. Kolamnya itu loh. Entah krn sepi atau gimana tp jernihhhh n bersihhh. Berenang jg rasanya beda banget. Seger. Macem berenang sama air isi ulang. Hahaha... Lokasi nya, jalan dikit dah sampe gajah mada plaza. Cm klo nyari indomaret n alfa ya jauhh.

1st of all, their location is excellent. It is in a location central to all the sights & sounds around such as Glodok (Chinatown), Kota Tua, Monas & some of the larger malls such as Taman Anggrek & Grand Indonesia all really not too far off. Taxis & Bajajs are readily available outside the main road. Gajah Mada Plaza & restaurants/warungs are just around the corner. Reception was a breeze & there was a nice lady at the reception to serve me. There are also a few men around the lobby & café which were attentive, forever smiling & actually took an interest on where I'm from, sharing stories...etc. Even the housekeeping guy when seeing me come out of my room in the morning asked me nicely if I wanted my room cleaned. The only issue I had as I already went through the trouble of contacting them earlier on to request for a hotel pickup, of which they have promised & even have quoted me the cost & given me the contact of the driver to look for at the airport, but alas, when I arrived on that day, he was no where to be seen & did not answer his handphone when I tried calling. I waited a good 40 mins before deciding to take an airport cab. The room facilities are comprehensive for a budget hotel, ranging from a flatscreen TV with many local & international channel choices, a safe, a mini fridge, (3 in 1) shower gel in the toilet & even a table lamp for the writing desk. I like that the room is kept bright with white finishes & bedsheets, large windows allowing sunlight in & especially the 'pink' theme as apparent in the feature wall behind the bed & on their cute throw cushions given on the bed. It's a fresh take outside being average all the time. They were also nice to present me with a small fruit plate & waited to pass it to me late in the evening as I was out the whole day. Breakfast, however minimal was delicious. I understand if they can't give too much choices on their buffet with their budget rates on rooms. Overall, I'm very happy with my stay! Keep it up!

The hotel is located in the heart of the city. There are malls, banks, convenience stores close by. It is very accessible to public transport. Rooms are big enough. Wifi is good enough. The staff are very helpful and really go out of their way to help even if they only know little english. Breakfast is also good.

First timer as a guest in this hotel,its make me feels comfort,why? 1.complete facility especially in the room,public facilty is not available such as swimming pool n fitnes bcoz it is budjet hotel 2.Overall staff are good especially for housekeeping or the man who always stand by there i think its such as order taker 3.We get complete aminites in the room 4.location also quite good 5.breakfast is so so but its also good I think this is the best budjet hotel i've ever visit

I stayed one night at Ibis. Was my first time but I knew this location. Hotel just next door Macdonald so if you are hungry just go downstairs or across the street is gajah mada plaza. You can eat many kind of food, watch a movie, doing massage and more. There are many food around especially street food. Hotel room was quite small but enough for me and I didn't stay longer. Bath room was very small but clean.

Room bersih, disediakan mie sedap cup, kopi dan teh di lobby lantai 6. Siaran tv nya lengkap. Pokoknya untuk hotel dengan budget segitu, sudah ok banget! Lokasi persis di belakang gajah mada plaza.

Pros: all facilities were functioning, really hot shower, quiet neighborhood as it's located in residential near to Gajah Mada Mall where you can find varies of food but you need to walk on foot. Cons: room smelled funny when first time I opened it, construction could be heard in the afternoon, guests from upper floor dragging the funiture could be heard at night, guests talking loud and laughing hard could be heard from hall, location has many sections to reach, the hotel seemed only change the pillow sheet but not others as I found sandy dirt on bedsheet even I already gave notes to hotel that I have alergic on dust and need the hotel to change bedsheet etc, room wasn't clean daily automatically like any other hotel, slow drainage for water to go down and the water will cover 3/4 bathroom floor, bring inside slippers as not provided, Rp100k hotel deposit & pls don't take the towel unless you want deposit unreturn, download Grab/Gojek apps for easy taxi/food online booking

Stayed for three nights, comfortable room for budget/non-fussy travellers. Bathroom water smells a little funky due to either old pipes or storage tanks. Non-potable but clean. Staff very helpful and prompt to assist, delivering complimentary water bottles daily right after i got back to the room despite not being housekeeping/cleaning time. (Sometimes i slept in past the service time) Also very helpful in finding places or making recommendations, some of the staff speak good english. Overall comfortable stay, safe and located in parallel main roads of Jln Hyram Wiruk (sp?) and Gajah Mada. Near nightlife spots etc but still require to take cab to most places. Travelling is bad during peak hours (about 5pm to 10pm) so as a friend told me, plan your day so wherever you are at 5 is where you'll stay till 10.

The location of the hotel is very strategic to go to a shopping place or go to the night life places. But sometimes, there is a bit traffic jam at the main road around Jalan Gajah Mada and Hayam Wuruk. But If you are using a small road to the hotel, it should be fine. The hotel is very clean inside and outside. It is very comfortable place to sleep.

The check-in process was superFAST. It only took less than one minute for Emilio, the front office man, to hand me the access card to Room 605. I was impressed. Room was spacious for its class/price in Agoda. I love it. Minors are: shower floor was slippery as brown mould were visible down there and the towel is only one and there was no bathroom mat. Since it was midnight, I didn't want to wake up anyone. PROBLEM: I was late for breakfast and had lunch on 10th floor. After ordering food, I went down to 605 and a room boy waited there telling me to check out before 1 pm. I said, I am having lunch up there. I had my lunch and book another night via mobile phone. The waiter told me he had a phone call from front office urging me to check out NOW because I have to pay penalty for exceeding 1 PM. It was 1.16. I understand the rule, but hate the approach. The front office girl insisted I have to pay penalty and I said, "Come on, I just checked in midnight and was not ready to check out before 1 PM." She replied, "This is not a hotel for 24 hours or 12 hours." HELL to the LO.... I knew that! The way you urged me checking out sounds like a staff of hotels by hours!!! The hotel is 90% EMPTY! Why so rigid? Where is the hospitality? I said, why should I pay penalty while I have already booked another night? She checked my booking and handed me a key to 706. Oh what an experience!!!

I stayed in this hotel for two nights after my previous hotel (RedDoorz Glodok) was so horrible that I had no choice but to book a new hotel. This was a great contrast. It was quiet, clean, with very pleasant staff. I paid 105,000 per night, which is an incredible value. Have to take a taxi to get anywhere though, which is the only downside.

Overall this hotel was good. Location near from Kota Tua Station and Gajah Mada. Breakfast also good. Room was clean.

My Hotel is within the area of Shopping Mall, Restaurants, Dry and Wet Market. Giant Supermarket are just next door and Pasar Glodok are about 100meters away. You can also find computer accessories and electrical accessories next door. The Best Restaurant is Garuda just about 1km away from MyHotel. For shoppers you can always go to Gajah Madah Mall and about 500meters you can go to Carefour supermarket and for night life, there are night clubs along the road. My Hotel also provide their own Restaurant located just beside the main lobby but unfortunately it is for Non Halal. So for Muslim friends you have to go out to find food.

Satisfied to stay here, although when I've made the booking haven't any review yet from other guests, so my assume this hotel was quite new. Great location which just only 15 minutes by car to Gambir train station, have a few local restaurant around the hotel and have a minimarket accross the hotel. The room and bathroom were clean, keep it as this on the future. Would recommend for those who have a trip early morning by train.

room size and cleanliness is acceptable. for a 3 star hotel, there are several function rooms. we hosted a training program there and they serve us well with right amount of food and drink for tea break and lunch. the food was well commended by our guest. when we did an internet check-in of our air tickets, we required printing and we were very impressed that the lady owner and her son offered to assist us even through it is already late in the night and they had not taken their dinner. we were impressed with their personal touch service. they did not charge us for the printing. we don't even get such treatment in a 4 ot 5 star hotel. breakfast buffet is also sufficient with combination for western and eastern. chinese porridge is well done also.

The room is worth your money and the location is very good., jalan raya banget dan gampang nyarinya Pesen makan via gojek juga gampang krn deket pusat kuliner

The outer look of the building was nice as well as the staffs. Coming to the room, I found iut that the bed was above the sitting and bathroom. TV was provided at the sitting space, no remote unfortunately. I found few long hair on the sleeping area andone of the pillow seemed just been used. The bed is large though. You need to turn off the exhaust fan on the bathroom if yiu want to have a nice quite sleep.

comfortable small rooms. good wifi and showers. many eateries around. next to grand paragon hotel on the main road of gajah mada. nearby to busway mangga besar where u get connected to many places of interest. just a simple small room to rest after your daily activities. another thing, all the rooms are windowless.

Nice big rooms, comfy bed. However the shower was cold and the staff don’t speak much English.
