Find hotels near Gelang Patah/Legoland in Johor Bahru, Malaysia

I'm disappointed when I have successfully booked Hotel Granda via AGODA but upon check in, me and my colleagues being informed by the Hotel that rooms that we booked was not available. Hence, we were being transferred to anothe Hotel which located in GELANG PATAH. There is a reason why we booked Hotel Granada, and out of sudden we need to stay in another hotel which totally we not familiar the location at all. If rooms not available, how come AGODA allow me to book the rooms and rooms that you offerred much lower than what I paid... I am so frustrated with your service.

As I frequent this part of JB for business n leisure, I was excited when I found out Amerin finally opened. I had the chance to book a night for a last minute stay since I had errands the next day. First impression was the welcoming entrance n carpark. Checking in was a breeze as they had prepared my arrival. I had the family room on the highest floor. The room itself is comparable to a 5* hotel. The beds, pillows n linen were very comfortable. Big TV n good ac. Breakfast was ample to our pallet. The indoor dining ambience was good. Outdoor was even better as we could see the city, kampong skyline. Building design was wonderful as it kept shade for outdoor dining/chilling. There are alot of local eateries n street food around the hotel. There is also a cheap n good seafood restaurant near the big mosque. Perling mall has Giant supermarket across the road. So no worries for groceries. KFC/pizza Hut near the main road. If you don't drive here there's CW3 bus which operates daily to n fro Jurong to Perling mall parking lot. Overall it has a unique but safe environment feel. I recommend this place if you are: 1) in transit. 2)visiting Legoland. 3)car servicing(loads of reputable workshops further down). 3)Food binging. 4)groceries 5)exploring. Staffs at the hotel are friendly n mostly accommodating if you are polite. I can't wait to drop by again this time maybe for their spa.

This place is a great alternative to expensive (um, overpriced) Legoland hotel. Less than $140/night for a 2 bedroom apt with 2 bathrooms, generous for my family of 4. And it's just across the road from the Mall of Medini, which is the strip of stores leading to Legoland entrance. It is managed under the Somerset group of properties. Front desk staff are extremely polite and professional, fast and efficient. Has a nice infinity-styled pool, not big but fun enough. Room (or I should say, apartment) was spacious, clean, well-kept and very comfortable. The washer and dryer turned out to be very useful after coming back with wet clothes from the wet park. Nicely-packed toiletries left a good impression on me. Main gripe is the water pressure for shower, pretty miserable. But put up with it coz overall whole experience was good. So families who wish to visit Legoland and avoid spending too much for the Legoland Hotel, this place is worth it. Oh, we drove and carpark was convenient, spacious and with 24-hr security guard. 10 ringgit for 3 days, can't ask for more.

it was a pleasure experience for me and my husband. we stayed there for three days 2 nights and i found their room service is great. it is also recommended for those who looking for nice and cosy hotel just for a short trip especially to go to Legoland. (Legoland is just nearby around 10 minutes from the hotel.)The hotel also near to the Giant supermarket (walking distance)and Tesco(around 5 mins. for me, the location is easy to find and got parking lot for u to park your car. The downside about this hotel is: breakfast. the selection of food is limited and not so nice. better you go somewhere else around the hotel to get good breakfast. Another thing is the staff at the cafe is a bit rude like no manners. Especially when they asking about the coupon for breakfast. otherwise, everything is perfect.

The room were very small, there's no way u can add any additional bed in there. U may find it disturbance if u have many luggage. Fridge were not really function, everything else is ok. U can easily find lots of restaurant around the hotel and there's a huge park right in front of hotel. There's three shopping complex around the hotel, Tesco & Jusco can be reach within walking distance, and u can reach Giant too if u can walk. Hotel itself does not provide any parking, although there's a guard sitting in front of the entrance. Pls make sure u park on the sight of guards. Parking is public so make sure u put ticket after 9am. Room does not have window, although some better room may have window, pls do check during or before u book if window really matter to u. As conclusion, price is affordable for budget traveller, I think it will fit your business trip too, If all u need is just sleep. And of course u must aware that room may be very small.

Great place to stay. New hotel. Good breakfast spread. Clean rooms. Spacious rooms, fully carpeted. The family room had a lot of space for the kids to play around. KFC is walking distance away. We stayed here for our legoland trip. Legoland is about 15mins drive away. The room service menu was actually quite good. We ordered room service every night instead of going out because it was more comfortable since there was a small kitchenette to enjoy our meals and the prices were about the same as the restaurants nearby. We had a good view of Johor from our room too. The only negative point i would like to stress here is that, this hotel has a great pool but does not have a single place to hang wet clothes in the bath room. We only had the option to hang our towels on the shower glass door and stack our swimsuits on the sink. We hope the hotel management could just add some towel racks on their walls and V8 Hotel would be a 10/10 in my books!

If you wish to stay near Gelang Patah or Legoland, then this hotel may be ur choice. But if you need to travel to JB, then it may need another 30-40 min by highway. For me, I am quite satisfied on overall. Parking is complimentary. There is convenient shop near the lobby but closed most of the time. You can go to Puteri Harbour for beer if you want.

I have a big family with 5 children. Going to Legoland & Singapore for a wedding. Please bare in mind. Checking in at the Medini Mall, not at the apartment. They will share you the instructions a day before your stay. This is my 2nd time staying under Holi Management so i consider it easy to check in. Legoland & Medini Mall are just walking distance from the Afiniti. Enough restaurant in the mall and weekend is happening. Entering Singapore also very near through TUAS. House facility is nice. Toilet a bit unclean but still acceptable. 1 of 2 towels is smelly. 1 of the extra pillow also smells bad. I always bring our own pillow and comforter everytime travelling since we hv 5 kids. The house have extra mattress and 3 sofa bed which is enough for the kids. Need to bring own bedsheet or comforter since the sofabed and extra mattress bit dirty and dusty. Kitchen have electric kettle and microwave with basic cuttleries, plate and mugs. Have 7 Eleven at the ground floor. Overall. We are happy to stay here again.

EASY & FAST ACCESS TO JPO OUTLET SHOPPING, SINGAPORE (TUAS) ,LEGOLAND, NUSAJAYA/GELANG PATAH VICINITY.AFFORDABLE RATE HOTEL,WITH COMPLETE AMENITIES IN THE ROOM. COMFY & CLEAN. SIMPLE BREAKFAST SPREAD, GOOD TO FILL THE STOMACH. WITH THIS PRICE, ITS A 6* FOR ME.

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at D Elegance Hotel. It is a very good place to stay in Gelang Patah if you are visiting Legoland. The staff is very helpful -- thank you so much! The triple room is very nice. The bathroom is huge (but I wonder why there's no shower curtain). The staff gave us a coupon for free coffee or lemonade at the next door patisserie unfortunately we were too busy to avail it. Tea Garden restaurant is in the same complex and we really enjoyed eating there. Actually, there are many restaurants, convenience stores and laundry shops within walking distance to the hotel. Everything is really affordable. I recommend D Elegance Hotel for its cleanliness, safe environment and very accommodating staff.

Heard about the Forest City for some time and finally took my family for a short stay. The room was really big. Kids had a lot space to run around. And the kids also loved the big bathtub. (Careful of the toilet floor, very slippery when wet). I loved the balcony. Had a quiet time staring at the sea. Recommended for Singaporeans looking for a relax getaway. For other tourists, this hotel is too far away from city. Best if you driving as shuttle services are limited. Top choice for smokers and drinkers. This is a duty free area. Pros: Breakfast is very good. Probably one of the best in Johor. Duty free beer and cigarettes. (People are buying by cartons) Pavilion on the beach to enjoy your beer Cons: Cleaniess can be improved. The balcony chairs and room sofa had stains. Swimming pool was too small. (There is a public pool nearby. That is far better. Charges apply) Limited restaurants in the hotel. (If you drive, you can consider going to Gelang Patah or Bukit Indah for meals instead)

Hotel room rate is very attractive. If you plan to visit Legoland and do not wish to stay at Legoland hotel due to budget, then this hotel is for you. Just 10 min drive from Hotel to Legoland. Hotel very basis but served it purpose. Plenty of free parking space available in the hotel. Breakfast is simple, but with the price of RM125 per night with breakfast. What more can you ask for. Like the room design.

Good location wherebu can walk for 10 to 15 minutes to legoland.... Hotel is good with big rooms and parking is also convenient. Security is everywhere and you will feel save. Outsider are not allowed with tight security. Security are very good and courteous. Can say that all the staff are really helpfull. There is also a shopping center at legoland area. We book 2 apartment of two rooms and felt that the apartment is big and nice. The staff by the name of William is really helpfull and very good. He helps us around the apartment and guide us along the way........ KUDOS

My 2nd stay in Princeton, visiting LEGOLAND. Why Princeton? 1)Transport: Very easy coming from S'pore Jurong East Intg, CW3; and Boon Lay Intg, CW6, alight outside AEON shopping mall. Princeton is just 7min walk from the bus stop 2)Shopping: AEON has plenty of eateries and cinema. 3)Local Food: Near TESCO/GIANT, within the shophouses. For breakfast, you can find wonton mee, char keoy tiao, etc. For dinner, try Zichar, satay, etc. Also plenty of eateries shops, just along the street behind Princeton, Tea Garden serves good food, has nice tungsten lightings. MingAng, a confectionery shop, sells very nice ShaoBao (roasted bun) and MaTiShu (cookies with honey like sweet fillings) My Stay.. I arrived very early around 8.30am, room wasn’t ready (no complaint), but the friendly staff arranged to keep our luggage at the counter as I told her I am heading to Legoland. The Superior King room was much bigger and spacious. Everything was basic, clean, had window, cold aircon, though sound proofing not great. Excellent WiFi, much better than those 3-4 stars hotels in KL or Penang. Princeton Hotel were selling Legoland tickets at ~20% discount from what you would have gotten online, pretty good deal. At lobby, there are some selection of snacks and mineral water if you need at late nite. Most of the staff I come across were friendly or very friendly. Others.. Hotel Granada is next to Princeton, 3-4 star. Can’t compare the two, Others are Kozi Hotel or Goody Hotel, but I will still probably pick Princeton on my next visit, for its King size bed, friendly staff and good WiFi.

New, clean & cozy hotel in Gelang Patah area. We stayed in a Superior Queen non-smoking room (#110) for less than rm90/night, booked via Agoda. Close to Legoland, but the hotel is a bit secluded from the main road. Convenient if you're driving. This hotel doesn't have breakfast served but nearby the hotel, there're walking distance restaurants, car wash and self-laundry service shops for guests' convenience. Inside the hotel, there're few spots to take Insta nice photos. Staffs are professional & friendly. Keep up the good work! Do maintain the excellent service, cleanliness & facilities.

Pros: The hotel location was nice since it was near to Legoland. The hotel was okay, it had shower with hot water and hair dryer. Cons: The bathroom door was abit ajar and the TV had only one channel. The room smelt strongly of smoke even though the was a no smoking signage displayed.

A good budget-friendly hotel for an overnight stay during our visit to Legoland; our room was generally clean with comfortable bed but no extra bed or cot available; bathroom facilities were ok; free wi-fi was fast enough; new hotel with nice art-deco lobby for souvenir photos; elevator was still under construction, but thank God our room was just on the 1st floor; hotel staff were friendly but with min. English capability; a male hotel staff even accompanied me to the nearby Money Changer; walking distance to Old Town White Coffee resto; about 10-15 minutes taxi drive from Legoland; nearby shops/malls like Giant, Eon, Tesco need a taxi cab to get there.

The single room is just nice and very cheap. Water refill available at hallways. Safe area as it is right beside commercial centres. Parking available most of the time though it is actually under majlis perbandaran. Great choice of stay if you are going to legoland

The service apartment is near Legoland and there are free shuttle buses to Legoland and a few other places. Apart from a grab-and-go food counter and restaurants from the neighbouring Fraser Place apartment, be prepared to walk at least 10 -15 minutes under the hot sun to the next nearest restaurant or supermarket. It takes 20 minutes by foot under the hot sun to get to a few other restaurants located at Puteri Harbour. It is quite out of the way and one of the Grab drivers tried to impose a surcharge on us. That said, Pinetree is an excellent facility with an awesome floor-to-ceiling seaview and all that you would need during the stay. It is exceptionally clean as it is a new apartment. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. We had a great holiday and my little ones are clamouring to stay there again in future!

Its was good to stay just 1night because we had trip to legoland so check in late just wanna sleep. Need to improve the sound proofing and more sensitive to muslim to show qiblat sign n sejadah.and also if the hotel could provide tea/coffee sachet at the desk that much more great! Overall i give 7/10 score.

Staff so helpful and friendly. Facilities satisfied. Cleanliness just OK, not so clean but acceptable since we spent more time at the Legoland and Hello Kitty Town. Shops and restaurants are nearby, but need to cross the road. Free parking is available. Also, friendly muslim hotel.

I took bus CW6 from Jurong East Bus interchange at 4SGD. It stops directly at LEGOLAND. On our way back , we waited probably 15min and I was thinking if I could take a uber ride. And indeed its only 9RM from LEGOLAND to Legenda hotel. Giant is directly opposite the hotel. Nearest cinema is at AEON shopping mall. Took a 8pm CW6 ( 5RM ) bus from AEON back to Singapore and reached Singapore around 10pm.

Its a clean and new hotel with quite a good location. Not too far from town and easy to access to Gelang Patah, Bukit Indah or Pasir Gudang. Many restaurants nearby so no worry about food and getting hungry middle of the night. Room that I booked was pretty small and without window. Aircond is cold and toilet is clean with a good rain shower. However you need to wait few minutes for hot water as they mentioned they are using solar heater. Overall, not a bad choice.

Stayed here at the Hermess Hotel for 3D2N. The best budget hotel with beautiful interior that I've ever been so far. A good place to crash after a long fun tiring day at Legoland which is just 10km away. For Muslim travellers, you can find a foodcourt near to Bestmart (local hypermarket). Another star value if you choose to stay in Hermess Hotel, it's near to Giant, Tesco and Aeon Bukit Indah too.

We stayed here 2 nights to visit Legoland. The location was perfect for that (Uber ride to Legoland 5min for 7MYR). The hotel seems to be very new and the facilities are up to date. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast selection. At 9 a.m. there was almost nothig left and the choice was limited to toast, eggs and noodles. Some fruit and joghurt or Muesli would have been nice. Would stay here again though.

New hotel in new township of Iskandar Puteri. Family room is very good (1 king + 1 super single) considering the room rate. Free toothbrush which is rare given its no star status. 10 minutes to Legoland using shortcut heading to Gelang Patah town.Free wifi. Free Coway water dispenser for hot and cold water near surau. Downside is no lift. If you bring heavy bags, you will be in trouble bringing the bags up the stairs. No good restaurant in walking distance unless if you have a car. Self service laundry is just next door.

this hotel was quite ok compare to others which i have stay,the hotel has their own internet cafe where we can surve internet,the staffs were frienly,certain hotel they wont allowed us to use the internet because some of them wish to save their electricity bill,and internet bills,here three of us used different computer for atlest more then a hour,they didnt tel us anytgh,acctualy we was surving also reg our study matter. the room is octupied with ac,tv and here they have astro service as well.it was the best thing ever,we wtch our fav HBO channel.. the hotel is located at good location,which was easy for parking as well..

We loved everything in this quaint hostel. From the design of the quad room, the hospitality of the staff, the cheap but delicious Malay food served downstairs and it's very close to Legoland. It's only 30 minutes to Singapore. The bus stop for CW3 (to Jurong East) is just nearby and you can hop on to your bus to Singapore in an instant. We also did not have a hard time going to Legoland because we arranged it with their staff. For only 18RM, you got a car that will bring you to Legoland. Amazing indeed! We will definitely be back at this hostel when we go and visit Legoland Water Park next time.

it is just 10 minutes drive from Legoland Malaysia. a very clean and large room. every basic things is included, just ask for a hair dryer if you need. beside hotel there is a non halal restaurant with good food. I will be back for this hotel if I visit Legoland again.
