My husband and I are budget travelers and we found Scott and his wife’s Homestay one of the best accommodations we have stayed at yet. The bed and room was very clean, the AC worked, the breakfast that is included with the room was actually very tasty and they both go out of their way to help you figure out the best sights to see based on your interests. We originally booked two nights and extended last minute. They were able to not only include us in dinner (which is the best in town) , but we were allowed to stay an extra night. Additionally we rented bikes from them and Scott helped us to book our overnight bus ticket to Hue and when we changed our minds to the train he was able to get some of our money back and book the tickets. Incredible place to stay! Both hospitality, location, and cleanliness. Would highly recommend.

We went to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Ninh Binh and were forced by the weather to spend a lot of time in the hotel. The staff was great! They were very accommodating and helpful but communication in English was sometimes difficult. We found it to be a very restful and quiet place to stay. We walked the grounds and enjoyed the Buddhist history. If you are looking for nightlife nearby this probably isn't the place for you.

We had the loveliest time at the Ninh Binh mountain view Homestay. Jasmine and her family were so helpful and welcoming from the minute we booked. She helped us organise transport to and from the Homestay and around the area with motorbikes as well. The room was perfect with the comfiest beds we’ve had in SE Asia and some nice air con. The best part of the stay was the food! It was the most delicious food we’ve had in Vietnam so far and there was so much of it! We ended up eating here every night of our stay, it was that good. On our last day we booked a night bus and she even let us stay in the room and eat dinner before getting on the bus she helped organise for us. It was the best stay and we would definitely come back. Not enough good things to say about this place! So do yourselves a favour and book here!

The best host in Vietnam! They treat you as if you were family! They will help you planning your trip and propose itineraries. We ate dinner there (with really reasonable price) for both days of our stay and it was the best meal we had in Vietnam. Highly recommend to have all of your meals there if possible. The room was big and clean with great bed and really big bathroom. The location isn't in the center of Ninh Binh city, but there is no reason for you to stay in the city. It was nice, quite and very beautiful location. They will provide free bicycles for you and can arrange transportation, motorbike rental etc. Highly recommend this place if you want to stay in Ninh Binh!

We were lucky to stay with this beautiful family, they gave us a nicer room than we booked which was amazing. So comfy and clean. The free breakfast was the tastiest ever and dinner was amazing, she even made it vegan for us and it was so good. We loved staying at this place, we felt so welcome, when we left we could leave our bags in the room and they even gave us a lunchbag for our trip. The place is outside the city but very easy to reach with the scooter, i loved the area because it felt like the real vietnamese life, i cant recommend this place enough! We payed less for this than a hostel and had the best time ever, i wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you family tam for being the nicest people ever :)

The stay is fantastic! Nice simple breakfast provided. Very remote, quiet and relaxing environment with beautiful flora and fauna, nicely maintain by the host. It is not situated in the center of tourist attractions, no walking distance, the best way to explore is by motorcycle or bicycle. You can count on the host to help you to make all the necessary arrangement. We enjoy so much on the stay, thank you so much!

This is definitely the best homestay in Ninh Binh. The place is clean and beautiful with lots of flowers.The host is very warm-hearted and enthusiatic. They cook delicious dishes with organic vegetable which they grow themselves. Generally this homestay is stunning and wonderful. Highly recommend

Ninh Binh Bungalow Homestay is close to the Bai Dinh Temple and it is in a nice and quiet village. Not many tourist like in Tam Coc or Ninh Binh. The host is very helpful and lovely. She helps you with everything you need for your stay and she speaks English very well. The food is delicious. Stay there for dinner, it’s plenty and very good.
