within walking distance from the bus station and close to the city center. my 14 female dorm was really clean & neat, had sufficient space for walking, individual cage lockers below the beds, good heating, individual charging points/reading lights for each bed. my favourite part was the ensuite bathroom facilities; there were 2 showering rooms, 2 toilets, 2 sinks. these are all located separately across the room so there is no need to wait for others if you want to only use one of the facilities.

I'm a performer and this August , I was performing in Edinburgh fringe. Me and my gf decided to go to Glasgow for a couple of days after I finish with my show. I looked online and found this guest house which was the best and chippest one. I've read some reviews and it seemed everything is fine with this place. A lot of people said the breakfast is so good. I have to day they were right. I loved the traditional Scottish breakfast they served. There were other sort of breakfasts available for people who don't like full Scottish breakfast. The room was nice and clean and the heating was working perfectly. You will receive your services by a bunch of friendly staff. We left our stuff inside the dining room before check in and after check out. It was a big help for us as we could go around the city without any disturbing bags with us. If I go to Glasgow again, I will definitely go back to this gust house.

I and my sister got a double room with a window for 1 night at Alexandre Thomson Hotel. The room was sparkling clean and spacious even for 3 adults. Everything was in great condition. We were offered bottled water, tea, coffee, milk, sugar and 2 biscuits. Staff were very friendly and always smiling. Location is probably one of the best things. The hotel is less than 200 m away from Glasgow central station so you won't be afraid of missing the trains. The hotel also let us store our luggages after checking out, just remember to take the numbered tags with you. It was my fault to forget such things, fortunately the young man at reception on 7 Sep afternoon was very kind to have let me retrieve my suitcases. Lifts are available up to floor 5, for floor 6 you will have to climb a little bit. Included breakfast is acceptable and with lots of choices. In conclusion, we do think that the price comes with the value, especially in a big city like Glasgow. We definitely will come back to Alexander Thomson Hotel again if we're in Glasgow!

Little bit of a walk to the better spots of downtown Glasgow. The place itself is great and lots of value for the price.

The hotel is well located if you plan to travel mostly by train. It is walking distance to Glasgow Queen Street station as well as Glasgow Central Station. It also located near st enoch centre one of the mall in Glasgow and the argyle steet a pedestrian shopping Rea in mechant city. The bed is comfortable and the room is big enough. However you can not find shampoo, shower cap and hairdryer. You must make sure you put the "make up the room" sign outside the door before 10 AM if you'd like your room to be cleaned up if you stay more than 1 day. I got bad experience that my room was not cleaned until day 3 of my stay although I have left a message to the reception. However, it was lucky that I met the cleaner lady on day 3 when I return to my room at 3 pm (and my room had not cleaned yet), so I directly asked her to clean it on the spot while I was awaiting outside my door.

This is my first time have been go to Glasgow, Scotland. When i am little late checked in because of delayed flight, staff was very nice always smile and gave more information about place of interest for tourist attractions. The staff place me at a big room with a king size bed, room is very clean, hotel environment is very quite so that good for take a rest after have sightseeing. Location is very near to Sauchiehall Street is one of the main shopping/business streets in the city center of Glasgow, Scotland. Along with Buchanan Street and Argyle Street, it forms the main shopping area of Glasgow, containing the majority of Glasgow's high street and chain stores. Breakfast was good with all the menu you can choose. And only 10 minutes by walk to Buchanan Bus/Coaches station. I love this hotel and for next visit i will stay at this hotel again.

I stay at the Merchant City Inn for one night. The hotel is well situated in heart of Glasgow. The reception staff was very helpful. I needed to have access to wifi and not always availble on the top flooe. I was moved to the ground floor in a nice doulbe room with all confort and acces to wifi. Would definitely recommned this hotel.

Beautiful building a very short walk from Sauchiehall Street, the staff were brilliant, very helpful. Room was basic (maybe a little dated) but clean and the beds were comfortable. Clean en suite, everything you need for a night in Glasgow. My son and I had breakfast, and for what we paid for the room it was fantastic value. A full cooked breakfast, continental options including fruit, pancakes and pastries. Coffee on the pot, and juices to help yourself to. Couldn't ask for anything more at the hotel 😁. The only issue I had which was nothing to do with the hotel - and the receptionist did her best to help with - was parking. The voucher scheme is a little confusing to say the least, there's very little parking on Renfrew Street, all the spaces were taken for the duration of our stay. I managed to park a couple of streets away, and I'm just hoping that was covered by the vouchers as there was no signs to say otherwise.

The hotel is very well placed in Glasgow City, close to shops, bars and eating places. Staff very polite and helpful. The hotel does have a nice breakfast lounge but not much else in the way of facilities. It was ideal for us as we sightseeing and just need a place to sleep.

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was very clean and well presented. We loved the modern decor in the hotel and felt very comfortable during our stay. Having sky telly was a great bonus as was the complimentary wine and cheese. The location was minutes away from everywhere we were visiting or eating! No complaints although the modern glass panelled bathroom (although smoke screened) doesn't offer a huge amount of privacy from your fellow guest. This wasn't a problem for my boyfriend and I but is worth considering if you like your privacy! Because of the close location to Glasgow City centre there was a small amount of noise outside from passerbys at night time but nothing too unbearable. Overall we had a lovely experience and would definitely come back!

Excellent professional but extremely polite and friendly staff. Rooms very clean and facilities great. Breakfast more than adequate and great choice. This is second time we have had short break in Glasgow at this hotel. Only short taxi ride to the SSC and short down hill stroll to city centre, so may require short taxi ride back, if slight hill an issue. There is a safe 24 hr car park directly opposite hotel and the hotel can get you a discount. will definitely be back.

A nice little hotel in the heart of the city. Our room was small, but spotlessly clean as was the bathroom, obviously newly fitted. The view was a brick courtyard but we didn't come to Glasgow to sit in the room and look out the window 😀For £80 for three people on a Saturday night in December, a steal.

Excellent Stay in Rennie Mackintosh Hotel in Glasgow. Located just two minutes from the "Union Street" exit of Glasgow Central station, we chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the city centre. The check in was very quick and we were staying on the 3rd floor. NOTE - because of the age of the building, there is no lift, so if you need assistance in carrying bags etc, either have a word with the reception desk or ring them in advance to expect your arrival. It may even be beneficial to request a first floor room. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was included in our rate, but you can choose to not have anything at all / continental breakfast (our rate) or Scottish breakfast. Our continental breakfast was included at £6 pp/day. Scottish cooked breakfast was available for an additional £3pp/day. Rooms cleaned daily and replenished with fresh towels, tv and drinks in room too. Also a very nice lounge + bar is on the first floor.

Good simple hotel located right next to Glasgow Central Station. Attached to moderately good Indian restaurant, which always has an all-you-can eat buffet on offer!

we had a wonderful overnight stay at the fraser suites in glasgow. we were stunned by just how big the studio apartment that we had booked turned out to be. the room had two tv's, dvd player, ipod dock, a sitting area with couch, cooking facilities and fridge. the room was large, extremely clean and very very comfortable. the staff were helpful and friendly when we checked in and checked out, but we had no problems to speak of during our stay, so we didn't have much cause to bother them with anything. parking next door in a q-park was very convenient and we got overnight parking for £6.50 with the hotel discount, very reasonable for city centre parking. i would recommend these apartments for anybody looking for a short stay in glasgow city centre, it's only a short walk to buchanan street and there are plenty of bars and places to eat nearby.

Very clean rooms, extremely helpful staff and all basic facilities required for a sole traveller. Situated super close to the city center and offices in Glasgow, right opposite the walkway adjoining the river Clyde. If you’re an IHG member, you get some really good options with points too! Totally worth it all. Will surely recommend this hotel to fellow travellers.

The hotel is conveniently located which is only 5 min from Buchanan Bus station, 10 min from Glasgow Queens Station and 15 min from Glasgow Central~ Staff esp. Mark was very friendly and helpful who provided us useful info on the attractions and even helped us join a day tour which we originally didnt know where to join! Room was tidy and clean and Breakfast was good too.

This hotel was generally very nice, although the few negatives mean that I would probably look elsewhere if I were to stay in Glasgow again. The bed in particular was very uncomfortable, which is surprising for a Marriot hotel. However, the breakfast was fantastic and the location of the hotel was good if you like being within a taxi ride of most places of interest in the city but don't want to put up with the noise of a hotel that's right in the middle of the shopping or bar location

It was my first stay at the hotel which is located in the city centre. I paid another 20pounds per night to upgrade my room to executive suite. The room was tastefully furnished with clean lines and its bathroom equipped with good shower and fragrant toiletries. There was also compliment coffee/tea making facilities in the room. The buffet breakfast at the restaurant was excellent with wide range of selections. On the whole, the staff at the reception counter and the restaurant were friendly, pleasant and helpful. It would be nice if the wifi at the hotel is free of charge instead of limiting it to only an hour. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Glasgow.

The thistle hotel is located in the centre of glasgow city which is near to all shops, resturants and clubs. The friendly atmosphere serves a relaxed and enjoyable stay. I would recommend the hotel to anybody who is looking for a cheap, clean and relaxed experience while staying in a hecic busy huge city.

Short stroll from Central Station. Close to shops, bars and restaurants. Friendly lady on reception. Very spacious Appartment. Only qualm was master double bedroom was two single mattresses pushed together, so it was uncomfortable down the middle of the bed if you wanted a cuddle with your partner. Would recommend and definitely stay there again.

Generally a nice hotel, with warm friendly staff. Great location in the central of Glasgow with good links to the airport and railway stations. Very close to the nightlife with choice of many types of cuisine within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. Rooms were a good size. Access to a gym and sauna on the 6 floor with a good view of Glasgow.

This Ibis is the best one we have ever stayed in the World. Location is perfect as St. Enoch Centre, Prince Square Shopping Centre and Glasgow Central Station are nearby. If you wish to join day tour to Loch Ness, the pick-up point shall be near George Square and it will only take you less than 10min. to get there. For the room itself, the room size is good enough for 2 luggage and the water pressure of the shower is also great! Clean and tidy room and anything you need is equipped, except a refrigerator. But you don’t need that as Glasgow has been so freezing for you.

The Hallmark Hotel was within easy walking distance of Glasgow Central Railway Station and a huge shopping area. The meals, especially breakfast were great value for money, my only complaint would be that the bread with our soup was stale, maybe they could have toasted it. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful and cheerfully friendly.

Great hotel, in a good location. I have stayed here before and loved the breakfast. A stones throw from excellent shopping areas and the central station in Glasgow, making travelling in and out of Glasgow easy! The hotel offers discounted town parking in the local npc if you travel to Glasgow by car.

City Central location, grand hotel with great history. Maybe a little pricy but comparable to other Glasgow city center hotels.

I couldnt decide between staying in a hotel room or a studio at Native and thankfully decided on the studio purely to have more room and I'm so glad I did. I stayed for 2 nights in Native Glasgow and loved it! Everything was great from the welcome at reception to the little thoughts of milk in the fridge to the Elemis toiletries. The location is excellent, its so central to everything and has great security. The only downfall is that there are lots of steps leading up to the lift to get to reception so not ideal for anyone with a lot of luggage, in a wheelchair or on crutches. Although I'm sure the staff would be more than willing to help if you ask as they were super friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again the next time.

The room is quite small but well equipped with everything you need. The location is the best in Glasgow, within walking distance to many tourist attractions and other interesting places in the city center. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would pick this hotel again next time.
