Large patch of carpet was wet....no idea what it was. Room was tiny .....the bathroom was nowhere near my room and the shower door was hanging off. ....couldn't get hot water either .

Terrible”
Booked a double room through Agoda, they or the hotel put in for triple room, as soon as I got the booking reference I phoned. No reply from Agoda and no Reply from hotel, eventually got a reply from Agoda, telling me that the hotel were not going to change the booking to a double. It was non-refundable, and had been planned for some time, we had no option but to go, the staff spoke no English, but managed to let us know that there would no change in the room or price. Agoda after many, many phone calls gave me a GIFT of 5 Dollars!!!! so that I could take it off my next booking. NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN. Disgusted about the attitude of both Agoda and Glasgow House Hotel. Ended up with very expensive stay and not memorable, well except the terrible time.

It was very clean, the bed and shower was perfect. It was excellent for my stay, we got a triple room though we booked double room, v much happy. And will stay again in future when I am in need .

Could not believe this”
We arrived at Glasgow house and the look from the outside should have been enough you couldn't see through the windows. The doorway was grubby. We rang the bell and eventually got in. The inside was dull and not welcoming at all. The lady didn't understand much English. She took one of my friends to her room my friend returned to see us. The lady allocated our room....the first room was the wrong room.....they moved us to we hat was supposedly a family room. The windows were filthy, water stains all over the roof and walls, the bathroom walls didn't come to the ceiling so no privacy. We could not stay in this hotel I have never seen anything so bad. We went to tell the receptionist who put me through to the office ...... the lady was polite but didn't seem surprised. She said I would need to contact agoda to cancel and she would refund m y money I tried and failed to Con tact agoda..........we left the hotel and wen t online and booked another hotel in glasgow

Perfect location-bad wifi”
The location is perfect. The rooms are very small but we expected that beforehand. Our biggest complaint was that the wifi only worked 1 day that we were there (a total of 5 days). I contacted the staff numerous times and was told there was nothing they could do, even though nowhere else in the city was having problems with their wifi. Overall the location was worth it and it was nice to have tv, coffee and tea in the rooms.

It was a small house hotel no parking and cooking facility.Window glasses were very dirty,Heating did not work,Room five door lock very poor condition,Room no 4 as soon as I opened the door it heat the central heating,Room 4 bathroom was not closing properly because of the radiator.

Basic but fab location”
It was good for what we used it for, which was a place to sleep after a night out, nothing glamorous but was 5 min taxi ride from the venue the party was at and wasn't too expensive for a 3 person room so it did the job nicely! Having a bathroom outside the room was a bit of a pain though.

VERY FRUSTRATED BY LACK OF DUE ASSISTANCE REGARDING COMPLAINT!”
1. Constant Stench throughout property! Jan 3rd-9th had to keep window open at All times! Caused illness! 2. Room Only superficially cleaned! Thick level of dusty 'stuff' in ridge on bed surrounding mattress; Human hair in shower cubicle tray; Dirty underneath toilet seat! 3. The only 2 members of staff did what they could but were limited. They're cleaners and moniter reception. However only spoke broken English, so communication difficult. At No point was the manager Ever on site! Even upon request, permanently unavailable to converse with guests! Reluctant even to supply name, have still not been informed of this! 4. Had no choice but to depart early due to an Emergency! They Refused Any form of reimbursement despite the circumstances! Even though room was vacant to re-let, enabling them to chrarge 2 fees for 1 room at same time! If had not been for Agoda intervening with the matter I would not have received a refund At All! *I STRONGLY ADVISE OTHERS AGAINST THIS PLACE!*

Good location and clean, but very slow heating system. Room was very cold and started to warm up as I was leaving at 8am. Running water also took ages to run hot.
