Fabulous, secluded charming seaside resort”
Couldn't have been happier on our weekend away from Ho Chi Minh City. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and big wooden lounges on the porch looking out at the sea. The restaurant is tops; excellent food, from the included breakfast to the cobia and veg red curry for dinner, which we ate from the gazebo just meters from the water. Staff is cheeful and helpful and the sea is flat and mostly clear on this side of the island. The swimming is great. Take a right along the coast past a few small accommodations and swim along the undeveloped national park; about 2km down there is a patch of starfish among the coral and sandy bottom. The vibrant and peaceful Nguyen Trung Truc temple is just a 15 minute ride on bicycles provided by the hotel. We highly recommend Gold Coast. Only hitch was my first emails about an airport transit didn't get answered for a day or two until I telephoned, but the staff was excellent The rid each way costs about 400,000 dong and takes an hour.

Perfect spot for an isolation trip”
My goal was to be far away from anyone so I could be holiday in peace, and the Gold Coast Resort fit the bill perfectly. Except for the 1st night when the neighboring hotel was blasting Tet music, the rest of the stay was great and quite peaceful. Note: It's VERY far from the main touristy spots, but I knew that going in and preferred that. The beach wasn't that nice, but not the fault of the resort. Food was very good, staff was great, and no real complaints. Easy to rent a motorbike and they had free mountain bikes to take out as well. My only gripe would be the pool was too chlorinated and I couldn't swim in it unless I had goggles or it would burn my eyes.

The Gold Coast is an ideal place to get away from it all. It’s position is wonderful and offers tranquility. The beach is clean and regularly cared for. The bungalows are spacious, clean and well equipped.The range and quality of food is excellent. However what really makes this place so fantastic is that all staff members go over and beyond to make your stay memorable.

Rooms were clean and cozy. Pool area was nice, as well as the beach also. Everything was organised very well. Food in the resorts restaurant was good, breakfast was good also. We enjoyed our stay here very much, and would most surely come back!

Exceptional”
About an hour far from the airport, the resort offers very peaceful and calm holiday. The resort is small, all the rooms are about 2 minutes max far from the private beach, which was very clean and the water clear. For breakfast is buffet and it is ok but the meals a la carte we had for dinners and lunches are very good and for reasonable prices. The rooms are spacious as well as bathrooms and very clean. The pool is nice, with a shallow part for kids with a slide. The only minus is the time we always had to wait in the restaurant to get our meal and drinks, they were always forgotting something and just took long time, even if there weren't too many people. Anyway the staff was very nice just not very experienced in english. It was our 4th time on Phu Quoc and probably the best place. If we have the chance to go here again, we probably choose Gold Cost.

Best Hotel on Phu Quoc”
This was our second time at this resort, we returned because we really enjoyed our first experience and our second was just as good. This place undersells it’s self. Should be 4* especially when you compare it to other hotels on the island. I could not fault anything. Would really recommend it to anyone who wants some tranquility in beautiful surroundings and first class service. Would definitely recommend and return with out a doubt. Incredible value for money and the online photos don’t do it justice.

Excellent place to relax away from any buzz”
So relaxing place. We had a beach front room with a terass and terass chairs and a great view. The room is very cosy and kept very clean. They have no competition on food since no other restaurant nearby, but the pricing is reasonable and the food is tasty. Very attentive staff. If you are out for beach parties and such alike, don't choose this hotel. if you're looking for a relaxing vacation at the beach, this is your great choice.You can use sun chairs and kayak for free and there is also a pool. A complementary pickup from the airport was highly appreciated. Thank you for the nice days we had there.

- well-kept and nice facility - friendly and helpful staff - Rooms were cleaned twice a day - Rinsed garbage was collected in the morning and the beach cleaned - large rooms with large bathrooms - Free shuttle bus to and from the airport, if you stay at least 3 nights (but better let them confirm again) - Selection at breakfast is ok, the quality of the restaurant overall good - Free rental of kayaks, snorkel sets, a pedal boat, bicycles, mountain bikes (condition of the bikes is not that good) and a few other things - The resort is located right on one of the best beaches on the island Around it are no other restaurants or opportunities for excursions, which one should be aware of. But to relax it is perfect.

We had a perfect stay in Gold Coast Resort. The location was quiet and beautiful. The private Beach was a dream and very clean. Water was perfect. Also the Pool. We had a bungalow with pool view. Very luxurious equipment. The bathrom was huge and modern. The Food was delicious. I had the best Burger i had eaten in the last years. Exceptional”
Although remote, this is a hidden gem for anyone wanting a quiet, peaceful and relaxing beach holiday. Spacious and comfortable rooms that are flawlessly clean, beautiful beach, refreshing and clean pool, great staff, and a wonderful little breakfast spread. Did I mention delicious food? Very comprehensive and affordable menu in the dining area with awesome views of the water. The resort also offers free airport transfers - greatly appreciated especially for a first time visitor. Loved being able to rent a scooter onsite to explore the island! Bicycles were also a hit for touring around the immediate area. My only suggestion would be to extend the happy hour to two hours from one - it was an idyll time to meet other travelers from around the globe in a relaxed and social setting. I would highly recommend this resort. Given the level of development and construction happening at the south end of Phu Quoc, gems like this one will be harder to find. We will be back.

Five Days in Heaven”
I am here right now. It's kind of quiet here on the north shore. This is the real Phu Quoc. Small and friendly fishing village with great seafood restaurants all around. It's 1km into town. This is not rock and roll kind of place. After three days I can say I love this kind of easy peasy lifestyle.
