A good place to stay near MOA”
We stayed at the Golden Phoenix Hotel last December, and we're satisfied with our experience. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with comfortable furnishings and modern amenities. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful; however, it took us almost an hour to check in because there were lots of guests at that time and there were only 2 front desk receptionists to assist us. The location of the hotel was ideal, with many popular attractions within walking distance. I felt safe and secure in the neighborhood and was able to explore the city with ease. In terms of value, I felt that the hotel offered excellent value for its price. The hotel provided many extra amenities, including a well-equipped fitness center, a fantastic restaurant and bar, a rooftop pool, and a welcoming lounge area. I would definitely recommend the Golden Phoenix Hotel to others. Whether you're visiting for business or pleasure, you're sure to have a great stay. The staff, room, location, and value were all top-notch, making it a good choice for your next trip to Manila, especially near the Mall of Asia.

Decent Hotel”
This hotel is quite nice, but some wear and tear can be seen on the walls. I like the distance it was from the major mall. The overall hotel was clean. Checkout took forever! They can definitely improve on the check out. I requested a room on the upper floor but they gave me a room on the 2nd floor facing an alley full of garbage. So I kept the curtains closed most of the time to avoid that view. The hotel setup is weird. You go to the second floor first, then you have to walk a little way to the back and then take the next set of elevators to go up to the higher floors where the pool, gym, and other rooms are.

Great Value to service place”
We wanted a hotel near Mall of Asia this one was walking distance from there with great service, good breakfast and wide room. The Gym was good, always clean with great smell. If I have only 3 concerns: 1. Check in was a bit slow they need more receptionist especially in holidays and weekends. 2. The elevators and parking was a bit complicated. 3. The Gym closes at 10 pm and open at 8:00 am which I prefer if it opens earlier and close later. In general I will reserve there again and I will recommend Golden Phoenix Hotel.

GREAT SERVICE | NICE PLACE TO STAY”
I've booked them thru Agoda , when me and my family arrived at the hotel , the staff were very accommodating from checkin up to check out .. I would just like to commend Kim from the front desk and the manager Theo , they were so nice and even upgraded our room for free into deluxe room which is bigger than the size of the regular room that I have booked from Agoda with free breakfast buffet and with city view .. the room was so clean , facility is clean , staff were so nice and accommodating the only thing that I dont like is the pool :D the water was so cold and it's not advisable for kids to use because of the water temp. also there are a lot of elevators when you go up to 2nd floor so you'll get confused which one to take , the shower in the room was so hot so I suggest to ask if you they could adjust the temp the rest of our stay was excellent. it's just 5-10mins away rom mall of asia and other facilities , outside the hotel there are taxi waiting and other transpo , there are also convenience store and restaurants nearby :)

Shoutout to Sir JR from the Conceirge Dept( I think)..he's an asset to the company..Because the airport transfer driver(not their fault 'tho because we arranged it quite late) was not available to pick us from the airport that morning..he proactively drove just not to keep us waiting. He himself wheeled our 4 luggages to the room after being left at the reception for awhile --- an attitude that does not solely focussed on his JD but a staff who cares for his company's reputation.. To the reception staff up to the security guard...very polite..and indeed the hotel is worth staying and to recommended!!!

Good place to stay near Mall of Asia”
We enjoyed our stay. We like the rooms, everything was in working order, sheets and beddings were crisp and clean. And the staff were truly nice and friendly! Only two points for improvement: • Outer wall of bathroom (which seems to be made of metal panel) had some signs of deterioration already (sunlight was visible on several holes at the bottom of the wall); not really a concern on security, but more on safety. And it kinda ruins the nice look of the entire place haha! They could fix it with some sealants, and make it a bit more visually pleasing :D • Checkout was horror (though considering the circumstances due to Typhoon Paeng, might be understandable); took us more than 30 minutes. But apart from our impatience (haha), the process was smooth — I just wish they had a more efficient system, as the entire lobby was crowded and chaotic.

Staff are so helpful and welcoming. My daughter left her bracelet at the hotel room, and the front desk and house keeping were so helpful. We were able to get the bracelet again. The facilities were good and clean. The food at the buffet is sooo good as well. Especially the bistek Tagalog. The location is good. Walking distance away from moa. Even my grandmother chose to walk going to IKEA. Thank you so much. See you again soon.

Cosy hotel with good amenities”
A 10 mins walk from the Mall Of Asia, this hotel is huge with very cosy room. There is iron & board, a safe, big cosy bed, powerful and quiet AC and the wifi connection is seamless and fast. The batheroom is very clean and modern. Not sure if it was because of the post pandemic where they are still lacking guests from China which they are predominantly targeting, i got a rate that was very attractive considering what it could offer. There are some 24 hours convenient shops just opposite the road., as well as some chinese eateries outside the lobby. Hotel seems rather safe as well as all guests are being checked during entrance to weed out those undesirables. Breakfast is basic with usual local fares but for the rate of the room, nothing much to complaint... if there is one thing to nitpick, it has to be the layout. The hotel is huge and getting to the room needs some getting used to. from the lobby, you will need to go one level up, go round and round looking for the correct elevator. if you take the wrong one, you will need to basically walk round and round to hunt for the room. a good idea to check with recept which specific lift to take to reach your room.

Best place if you’re attending a concert at MOA arena”
It was my first time on Manila to attend a concert. The check in was smooth with accommodating staff. Our room had a nice view and clean. Though there was an aircon issue, the staff responded promptly and the aircon was fixed. The breakfast was satisfying and had a lot of choices. We ate a lot that we no longer needed to eat lunch so we saved the money for lunch. It was a walking distance to the MOA arena too and 20 mins travel from and to the airport. The only thing I did not like is the smell of smoke on the hallway on the 7th floor, but all else were good.

Hotel neat MOA Arena”
I am a concert goer amd I really like to attend 2 day consecutive concert of it has. And since MOA Arena is always the venue for concert in the Philippines, I always find to book a hotel near the arena so that I can rest easily for another day's concert. And glad I found the Golden Phoenix thru Agoda and my friend and I stay there was really amazing. The location is walkable from MOA Arena. There are many food options around the Hotel. The hotel is always clean and beds are comfy and facilities are good. Staffs and guards and very helpful. And lastly the value for money is really practical. Will soon book again on thia hotel for my future concert stays 👍

Great Stay”
All indicated amenities in the room details are in-place 👍 Spacious room, tidy, clean and modern interior. Location is great too, near ikea and moa. Near to nearby attractions too. Front desk are very welcoming. Convenient check-in/check-out process, no hassle. However, the comfort room is quite small (i dont know for the other rooms) for guests who are 6feet tall and those who are really "giant" people 😁 but for us, its fine as long as its clean, no leak, good exhaust, well mainted. I find it small because of the clearance between the toilet bowl and the lavatory. Nonetheless, we had a great 2nights stay. 💜

Value for money hotel”
Great for business and leisure travels. We stayed the night for an office event and we enjoyed our stay. Clean room and comfortable bed. I especially liked the fact that a vanity mirror is present inside the bathroom since we did our makeup with ease. I forgot my hairbrush and they even have a disposable comb that I can use. We even have an upgrade to deluxe room without any additional cost. We will definitely book again with this hotel 😊

Loved my stay. Room is comfortable, Clean and the food I ordered in room service for more than I could finish. The only problem was the iron. It had a stain on it so when I used it, my shirt had a small stain. They shouldve checked it.

I love this hotel. Super recommended if you are attending an event/concert in MOA Arena. 1 block away from MOA Arena and 2 blocks from SM. The room is not small and their single beds can fit 2 people. The staff is outstanding. There's just a minor delay in checking in due to the influx of guests and I imagine it's more than what they usually get, but an amazing stay overall. Will definitely book again.

Getting your money's worth”
The location is excellent. Literally a few minutes steps away from Mall of Asia. We were given an upgrade, from superior to Deluxe twin with a full view of Moa Complex. Downside was what we thought to be a mini ref, but turned out to be just a tiny chiller. My son really had a blast. It was a quick birthday staycation for my wife. The buffet breakfast was good. Although, we had to pay for our son's bfast for 325php. He did not enjoyed the buffet. He only ate egg and crispy fish fillet. Anyways, all staff/guards were very polite and attentive. Will stay again on Valentines Day. Thank You!

Staff is good. Room was nice.we requested for a working vault and wifi modem. And they came right away.My only concern was the food service. It took us an hour waiting to have our meal ready and be delivered in our room. But overall, it was an excellent experience. I would like to say that the hotel is very “SULIT”, you will really get what you paid for. The place is very strategic— it’s near MOA, IKEA, and other tourist spots. The staff are very accommodating; they will even greet you on the hallways, and this radiates the positivity. I also love that they have guides and signages to easily locate the room. Moreover, the room is really spacious and the bed is very comfortable. If one is looking for a place for staycation, I would highly recommend this. On the down side, I had some issues with the smell of the hallways on some floors, as some would smell a mixed of Durian and dried fish. Also, the elevators are soft-touched. I had some difficulties selecting floors (maybe this was just my problem haha). But overall, I had a great stay with Golden Phoenix, to mention that I also enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

This is my almost tenth stay at Golden Phoenix Hotel since 2017, everything is fine and perfect just like every stayed I've been in. Facilities, breakfast, security, epidemic prevention and services provided by staff are all very good. In recent years, the new shopping centers and malls in the adjacent area have made the hotel more convenient. I have to mention the attentive care provided by several of the service staff as this is why I choose to stay at Golden Phoenix Hotel every time when I visit the Philippines. The front desk staff Theo, Jun, and Louie in the restaurant. This time around it’s the longest stay in my experience to visit the Philippines, thank you for take care of me and all your assistance during these 11 days, I am really grateful. By the way it’s a pity that I haven't seen familiar service staff like Glendon and Chona during my stay, always remember their dedicated service and attitude and hope to see them next time.
