At first, I booked only 1 day. After I enjoy the place, the breakfast, also the location. I decided to extend for two days more. And also rent a motorbike there. The staff has good insight about the place to visit in Chiang Rai. They were so kind, humble and very welcome. Thank youuu... 😊

Lovely place”
The owner is such a sweet lady!! She is very helpful and makes a great breakfast every morning ❤︎ The dorms are clean and spacious and I really liked the fact that they all have curtains, so it feels super private even though the room is shared with quite a few people… location is great, you can either take a free bike from the hostel or can rent a motorbike to go wherever :) I had a great stay!!

Best Hostel in my travels so far (3 months)”
This has been my favourite hostel since being on my travels. Pros -The building itself is magnificent and homely, with a large balcony area as a common room space. -The breakfast is amazing, and free bananas and water are available 24/7. -Staff are extremely helpful. -Free bicycles for rent. -Excellent location away from city bustle but within walking distance. -Bunker style beds offer full privacy. -Homemade peanut butter, made by the hostel owner, is delicious and only 95baht for a large jar. super helpful owner, clean rooms, awesome location, free bicycles, huge balcony overlooking the street and huge bathrooms, excellent breakfast with eggs (still miss those banana pancakes). the owner even gave me lunch for my early morning border crossing.

One of the best hostel I went to in Thailand! Viva and her family are really welcoming, so welcoming that I ended up to stay more than I was supposed to. The hostel is clean and charming, the homemade breakfast is amazing and the peanut butter made by Viva is sooo good!

One of the best hostels!”
So first of all, the owner! She is soooo nice and kind! I just had to leave a nice review because of her hospitality. Oh this hostel has a lot of unexpected free stuff: free breakfast (homemade muffins/cupcakes, toasts, jam, butter, cinnamon powder, coffee, bananas) till 11am, free water, free towel (finally I got a towel in Thailand), free bicycles with baskets!! This one was totally unexpected and saved so much time and money for me as I could ride around the town and surrounding villages. Also, there was no deposit (as of March 2020) or anything, I guess it’s good for early flights and buses. Comfortable capsule style beds with curtains (one plug and light), nice blankets. Big shared bathroom (3 shower stalls and 3 toilets), two of them (for women and men). Spacious common area which is designed like a cafe, cool outdoor area on the second floor too, lots of chairs. Oh, big lockers! I haven't used them since it felt pretty safe to just leave my bags in the room but still. The only downside is the location, it’s a bit of a walk but if you ride a bicycle, then it’s not a problem. And it's still not that far away, totally walkable. Everyone I've met here was also complimenting the place and its host. Totally recommend this hostel. Definitely going to stay here again once I'm in Chiang Rai.

Great location to explore”
Its out of the main centre though has plenty great cafes and foodie places to discover if you take a chance. When you need to a Grab bike is just 50bht to the bus station. Lovely owner and family run. Try it!

Hostel is very spacious and beds are very private. Shower was not perfectly clean but it was alright. Free water refill and the breakfast is the best!! Homemade blueberry cake and waffles. Also thick bread to make toast with some butter and jam. To walk to the night market is a bit far, I went by bike, but the host offers to drive you. She is very kind!! Night market is the best I’ve seen here until now.

THE best hostel you will stay at”
Amazing host, Viva is so helpful and kind. She makes breakfast every day for everyone, hires you bicycles for free, and drives you to the night market at 7pm every day! The hostel is spacious, with comfortable rooms and very good WiFi. You will not regret staying here, even if the 25 min walk into town is putting you off, it’s worth it !

Amazing host - Viva, she is so helpful and kind. She makes breakfast every day for guests, drives people to the night market each evening and makes sure you’re comfortable and have everything you need. Hostel is immaculate and if you don’t mind walking it’s only a 20-30 min walk from the centre of town.

Pros: .Location(close to a really good Khao Soi restaurant) .Quiet .Common room .Breakfast(banana toast) .Free bikes to borrow Cons: .Dirty(toilets, no hand soap) .Old(everything doors, chairs, tables) .Blankets(probably never wash, only 1 person working) Only for 1 night is ok!
