Absolute Joke”

We arrived in the evening of our booking to be greeted by a porter who kindly informed us the hotel had cancelled our booking just one hour ago. No apology & left 6 of us without a place to stay after a long days work & a long day the next day. I wouldn’t not recommend this place to anyone

The worst! ”

After arriving to this hotel, very tired after my whole day trip I saw a guests in the front complaining about the cleanliness of theirs room. I hoped this won’t be my case. I checked in and headed to my room. At the first sight it looked okay. After entering the room I could smell man cologne and checked the bedsheets. The pillows were stinking sweat and certainly not washed at all. I still did not give up after seeing this. In the bathroom there was no toilet paper so I went back to the reception and had to ask for one. Few min later I closed the curtains and the mess started. The whole curtain was soiled with I don’t know what stuff - just disgusting. TV screen full of white spots, spiders and cobwebs on the ceiling the walls were dirty. I turned on the flashlight and checked the headboard. This was the most disgusting thing. I’m attaching pictures of everything so please have a look as it is hard to describe it politely. It did not finish with the room. At that point I wanted to leave and started searching for another place. CLEAN PLACE. I checked the wifi connection which I also required for my work - nothing working. No internet connection at all. I wanted to take a shower at least but surprisingly there was no hot or even warm water. Just freezing cold. And the shower?! I’m barely having words to describe it. Full of mould, dirt, hair, bacterias, who knows what else. The shower handle and the tube… please see pictures attached. After this I packed my stuff and headed to the reception. I asked for refund and showed all the pictures to the receptionist. I asked him if he would stay in room like this. He said no. I asked for refund as I was leaving the hotel. He told me he cannot do it as manager will be there the next day. I couldn’t wait until next day so he said to send an email or call. I left the hotel and at the same time 4 other people left for the same reason. The rooms are filthy and no one cares? This is absolutely ridiculous and hazardous for the healt

I chose this place for the economical aspect and location for shopping but like the title of my review states, NEVER AGAIN. Upon arrival we given the door card to room that had been recently occupied. Dirty sheets, bin overflowing, dirty towels etc. After apologies were made we given another room that can only be explained as being a posh prison cell. No room to swing a cat. Nowhere to hang clothes, one tiny bedside table and only one set of towels. To top it all off the mattress must have been a leftover from some prison somewhere when they upgraded as you could feel every spring dig into your torso amongst other parts. But before that, after lifting the single sheet covering the most disgusting mattress you’ll ever come across, it the mattress looked liked it had been acquired from the tip. Full of stains to disgusting to describe, eventually covering with the duvet cover and putting the duvet itself down as not a mattress protector but a body protector. The tv worked great except for the in ground dirty that covered it to the point that I tried to wipe it clean and sanitise it before handling it. Worse was to come the next morning when there was no running hot water and the shower run cold on top of that the showers grouting was dirty to the point where you didn’t want to step in it plus there was no milk for an early morning cuppa. On checking out the concierge asked if everything went well. I said where do you start , voiced my complaint and walked out. In hindsight I wish I had read the hotels reviews prior to booking as I would definitely not have stayed there. I could I would demand my money back as it was the worst stay at any hotel I’ve ever been to. Let’s put bit this way I paid £47 on a Saturday for two people for one night, all-in-all relatively cheap and could of got a second night for £27 but decided to check into a travel lodge for £45 so I could take a shower.

Staff were not really interested in helping. There were three of us in a quad room, only two cups and glasses. Only two teabags and three coffees with no milk at all. The room was not cleaned on the Saturday. It was as if they had our money and didn’t care less whether we were happy or not. Won’t be staying there again.
