Very Comfortable Hotel ”
After 33 hour flight from the U.S., the Grand Jomtien Palace was a very comfortable place to rest up. Very comfortable room with great pool and direct view of the beach, at a very reasonable price. Food is prepared well, and room service delivered with care. Would definitely recommend.

Booked the superior charlet garden view. It is a different building than the one in the pictures - about 500m far from the sea. There rooms were big and clean and the stuff were great. Recommended.

Great view of the beach!”
I have had a wonderful stay at the hotel, and my room had a great view of the beach. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating, plus the food was very good If I may suggest, a coffeemaker would be a plus, as well as safety bars in the shower should be installed to make it easier getting in and out of the tub.

Covid Restrictions were in place however, our stay was good value for money. The hotel is centrally located for everything on Jomtiem beach. At the end of the beach road at Na Jomtiem, check out Manee Sawi Steak house and Coffee. Another hidden gem.

Outgoing staff”
Our sea view room was lovely with a breathtaking 180º view of the beach and ocean. Housekeeping was great, somehow magically able to make the room spotless, even if we just went down to breakfast. But the outstanding thing at this hotel was the staff: outgoing, friendly, helpful at all times of day and night.

Beautiful chalet rest”
Myself and my 12 y old have reserved a standard room in the main building. Everything was great before the Chinese group of people came on the floor. They tern to be extremely loud late evenings and early mornings. My several requests to them, explanations that I am having a second sleepless night, that my child is very upset was ignored and laughed at. I went down to reception and asked for the security to come up to the floor. It didn't happen. Early in the morning I demanded for the manager who eventually helped us and offered us an upgrade in a grand chalet wing which was absolutely beautiful, quite and luxury. That was a brilliant 3 last nights we spent. My advice : Beware of the young Chinese groups on your floor. They are truly rude and ignorant. They had many complains similar character from other people. Apart from that we were very happy in this hotel.

Nice sea view but needs a better bef”
We love the room with deluxe sea view. Room is a bit worn but not too bad. The mattress needs to be replaced. Very bad for comfort. If you can deal with a backache every day, the pool is great, the staff are very friendly, big breakfast, wonderful location. I’ve stayed here 3 years in a row but the bed is the worst part.

On the beach”
This hotel is right on the beach and has s very good pool. You can catch the baht bus to downtown from outside the hotel. Within 2 minutes walk are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel is in the process of being refurbed and needs this and it is reflected in the price.

Nice Hotel if you have a room with the sea view ( worth the extra cost). The beachfront is fabulous to walk, lots of shade and usually with a breeze. The hotel has two swimming pools - although you have to request a pool towel at reception. A very relaxing place to stay. The hotel gets busy on weekends - book early

An Honest Opinion”
GRAND JOMTIEN PALACE DATE OF STAY: 11, November 2021 The resort overall is very nice we stayed here for 3, nights, we had Chalet next to the swimming pool. The King Size bed and another single bed the bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size and there was an area outside with a table and chair there was also a clothes horse for drying clothes. Slippers and bath robes are supplied. There was no separate bath/shower but there is an screen you can pull along for privacy whilst using the toilet or having a shower, these chalets are all open plan there’s a small standalone bath and a shower cubicle which also had a rain shower. There is no safe deposit box in the rooms, for this you have to use the safe deposits at the reception desk. The swimming pool was beautifully designed with plenty of sun lounges and situated but not enough sun shade umbrellas. The resort was situated right on beach road and the beech was across the road opposite and it was all sand. The resort is situated close to all you would need be it shopping; restaurants, bars etc. and taxis are going past at regular intervals. The breakfast buffet was reasonable but I have seen better selection of food at other hotels but the food was tasty and dining area was nice and if you took seats to the front of the restaurant you would have full open view of the beach. The staff were very helpful the rooms very clean and refreshed daily, so overall I would recommend this hotel.
