What a view!”
We booked for five days and only wish we could have stayed longer. The staff upgraded us to a fantastic room, which was big, comfortable, clean and had a spectacular view of the mountains. Everyone was friendly and helpful. If you want a great trek . which was a bit higher than some, but she turned out to be a really good guide. We trekked in the rain for much of the day and the first kilometer was a bit rough, but after that the climb was fairly easy on the way up. The way down was really slippery with all the water, but perfectly doable with care. It was 12 kms total and took us about 4 hours, but we stopped a lot for photos. We had a delicious lunch, with at her home. After that we could walk about 8K home, mostly along the road, or get a motorbike taxi. I ride a motorbike every day in Thailand, where I live, and I’ve driven in India, Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia - this was the most harrowing ride ever; over a road with dirt and pebbled stretches with hairpin turns and huge drop-offs with drivers that took it all way too fast. Arrange a minibus or taxi to pick you up at the end of your trek, can give you the pick-up point name. As many people mentioned here the minibus in from Lao Cai was awful, the drivers were obnoxious, greedy and really rude, plus loved speedy blind passes on hairpin turns. The hotel arranged a minibus for us back to Lao Cai and it was great. Ask them to pick you up as well, it will save you a huge hassle

Sapa is amazing!”
On check-in I was upgraded from a standard room to a deluxe room and was given a choice of floors. I picked the top floor for the view but was not satisfied with the room. The next morning I asked to change rooms and was upgraded (again) to the suite. It was absolutely wonderful! After returning from my overnight trek, I was again offered the suite at a heavily discounted price. The front-desk staff are amazing and very kind and helpful.

Amazing view big rooms ”
A big hotel overviewing the spactacular view. we stayed for2 nightsin a huge room with a balconey facing the mountains . the staff wee ok not very friendly but helpfull all in all. the location was great though tough walking up and down the street close to market resturants and center. The room was very big and had a good sized bathroom with hot hot water . good value for money and again- the view was worth it all /

Big windows opened to beautiful mountain view”
The room is really spacious, with the windows opened to such a spectacular view of the Sapa valley. We had a comfortable stay, rest up for the next day trekking. The bathroom has a big jacuzzi-type tub, however water pressure was never strong enough to temp us for a soak in it - and a bit funky too with open drainage behind the tub, which we didn't mind much, until we saw a few small cockroaches running around. It seems that the whole facility is too big to be maintained well. But in general, the view is such so wonderful that we can oversee other little things!

Good view and large room”
Never expected the value for money of the room provided. The staff were helpful but have difficulty with English. Front desk staff were conversant and very helpful. The hotel was near mostly everything - market, village, shops and dining areas.

Comfortable hotel with great views”
We had 4 rooms at the top floor, where there is a veranda with tables and chairs. It was great to sit there and view the nice mountain scenery while drinking our beers.

Amazing views and nice rooms”
Stayed for one night and it was nice. They upgraded us to the deluxe room on the top floor (4th) with an amazing view of all the mountains around. We didn't have the free breakfast so can't comment on it. Hotel is close to everything in town. Good budget option.

Sapa is beautiful and worth the visit”
Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and told that we were upgraded, the only problem was that the hotel was freezing cold and our room want ready for about 1 1/2 hours. Upon getting to the room it was HUGE, grand windows and nice lounge area, our only problem was that with it being very cold outside and the room being so large with no central heating that the room was very cold too and we only had one small floor heater which was not sufficient to heat the room. But they provided us with an electric blanket which helped a lot.

hotel had some of the best views ”
views are spectacular, located near the town centre, but quiet enough, superb location for a walk into a local village near the waterfalls. Be prepared for a big climb very steep.
