I was moved to here from Granda Corner, not too far. I t looks like the pictures, modern, new, hip. But …: The kitchenette is very low, even for Vietnamese, the equipment is poor, not even one single knife. No eating table, no high chairs Just two shelfs in the wardrobe No sideboard (there would be place to put one!) The desk is narrow, and had an idiotic drawer placed underneath, no one – not a tall no a small person –can sit there and do office work. The table is so small, that you cannot push the notebook back to put a book, a printout or your arms on the desk. Neither the good bed nor the fantastic view over the backstreets do compensate.

Free laundry was nice, but the price for the top floor is much too high for what you get. There is a stove top and fridge, but the cookware is sparse. The view is poor, and location is distant from many landmarks. Not a bad spot, just not a good value.

Being staying in different hotels and apartments in Hanoi. The prices are usually a bit on the higher side for hotels within convenient locations. While Apartments with reasonable or low prices are not as convenient, located in small lanes and streets where it is difficult to get things you need. The location of the Granda Suites Hanoi is in a street also, but much more convenient, with quite a number of restaraunts (Japanese, Korean, Western, Vietnamese), cafes, pharmarcy, and super market nearby. After almost a year of travelling in Hanoi, I've found the location to look out for hotels and apartments to stay. :)

More a business trip with family in tow. The floor of the room was dirty when we got there, the rain and dust from the street easily make it up to your room via shoes. Two night stay, room never cleaned. Some basic things like toilet paper missing on arrival. One pair of slippers not two. The cleaning staff asked us on the morning we were checking out if we wanted our room cleaned a little late and never showed up as well. The range hood does from the stove in room 406 does not actually have an exhaust pipe, I assume all rooms here are the same, so we when cooking fumes just stay in the room. The cabinet drawer above the sink to dry dishes was broken making it difficult to wash dishes without hitting the cabinet with my head. There was no safe in the room. The queen size bed the mattress is a bit on the soft side, and there would have been plenty of room if they had wanted to fit a king bed with a proper mattress. Some of the electrical wiring is exposed in the kitchen wall. Lack of wall cleaning visible on bottom of the wall in the bedroom facing the bathtub, yellow unknown substances. Compared to other granda locations though it is 3.5 out of 5, could be 4 with above fixes. Long term though these units will show wear and tear the paint us already peeling. Personally I wonder why they build these buildings then fail in terms of finishing them properly. Just seems like a waste. The smart TV is not so smart, screen mirroring works though or you can plug in your hdmi device. Wifi speed was slow we just used 4g data to stream Netflix instead.

Newly fitted out, cleaned every second day along with free of charge laundry from your basket to your room Not to mention location to alley way community of shops food salons etc and short stroll to markets. 24hr security , fingerprint access and your suite door beeps if you forget to lock properly 12 outta 10/:) Would highly reccomend

Big spacious apartment although room needed some fixing”
The apartment itself is really great. Nice and spacious with separated living room area with kitchen and tv and then the bedroom area. There were a few little things the room needed fixing with for example the sliding door to the balcony would not close properly and let in a howling wind which was very loud. I told the reception lady about this and she said she would to look into it but when i returned nothing was done about it. Also checking in was rather slow and the staff didnt speak much English. There was only 1 or 2 other people waiting at reception yet it still took nearly 30 minutes of waiting because it seemed one staff lady didnt really know what she was doing. And also there was a floor skirting board that had come loose and nails were sticking up which could have been very dangerous. Even though this is a serviced apartment and not a hotel this should have been fixed. The internet is really fast though, and there are many nearby restaurants and shops.

A big mistake that they did not change the bed sheet, cushion cover and blanket (and probably towers) for new guest. I can easy identify the used items in the room. Though the staffs were nice enough to agree to change for me but they should have done it before a guest checks in.
