Exceptional”
Nice hostel, A/C, plenty of bathrooms (3 showers for 6 people). There's a kitchen with a little fridge and a kettle, water and coffee is provided. The beach is not a long walk away, although when the water is out it's just rocks/dead reef, but you can also walk to a little beach which is a bit nicer if you continue north taking a path over a tiny hill. Long Beach is also not far. Also you can use the facilities at the resort - there is a pool and a little gym with some free weights and a couple machines.

Comfortable stay”
Enjoyed our 4 days here. Using the pool and beach area was a bonus. They also serve a good variety or food and the bar is nice as it overlooks the sea, lovely for a sunset evening. The room was basic but clean and the owner was super nice and helpful.

Great place”
The place was great and has all you need. The owner and his wife were really helpful too. You can rent a bike here and they do laundry service. You also have access to the Blue Andaman resort just a short walk away.

Wouldn’t stay again ”
We had access to the facilities of the hotel which was great, right on the beach, lovely pool and nice bar with amazing staff. But the guesthouse itself had a lot to be said about it. It was run down, the room was dirty, the bed sheets had hard black stains on it. One night there was a terrible smell coming from the drains in the bathroom. We got back one night there was a lizard in the room, didn’t bother too much about this though, but the next night we returned to find a cockroach. We ended up putting a towel and the bottom of the door to stop insects getting in. Obviously these things were out of control of the owners, however, even the room in itself, the walls had stains all over and the furniture was scratched and broken in places, there were cobwebs in the cupboards. This could easily be an amazing place to stay, a lick of paint and a bit more care in the cleanliness and it would be an absolute steal. Yes it was cheap which is what we wanted and I suppose cheap comes with lower expectations but I would definitely not stay here again.

Dont go here, not worth the money! ”
First of all the door was broken, doorknob was nearly out of its place, bugs were coming in the room under the door becouse of a big gap. The bed was dirty, sand and other in it, sheets and towels were stained. No sheet on the blanket, and blanket also was stained. The aircon worked only from one end, half of it was not cooling at all. I got stucked up in the bathroom for like 10 minutes because the door jammed, it was so swollen from the bottom. There was many different kinds of bugs in the room, and bathroom had airhole without mosquitonet so you can guess how many friends there were stuck with me. Had to fight to get even some of my money back. The owner very unpleasant. I've been traveling alot in thailand and stayed in little shady places and cheap bungalows but this was too much even for me, specially at this price. Take your money elsewhere and enjoy your stay in Ko Lanta, you are not able to do that in this place :)

Dirty place”
I don't know what the guest house has in common with the beach resort, but probably just a similar name. The Guesthouse is located right behind the 7/11 store it's a very dirty place where you'll be afraid to touch the windows, sinks, bathroom floors and anything else. The place is very unkempt and of course they have the terms set so that you can't cancel your reservation.

Great Option and Outstanding Area! ”
If you are looking for a great budget room this option is awesome. Staff and other residents were super friendly and knowledgeable. "E" (don't know how to spell his name) the owner of the place also showed us a nice beautiful private beach about 10 minutes walk away, and drove us there himself. This guy could basically get you anything you wanted or hook anything up for you. Other than that, even though it's the guest house you are still able to go to the Blue Andaman resort and use the pool and all facilities they can because it's owned by the same people. So you get a cheap room with the facilities of an expensive one. Danny's Restaurant and the beach are 2 min walking distance away and the restaurant had cheap really good food. and a large variety, Thai - western - even mexican. One last note: Splurge for the air conditioning in this place though. We didn't and our room was a sauna during the day and we had a hard time cooling it off at night. Cleanliness was only given three stars because they don't clean your room each day like hotels. Didn't bother us much but thought I'd mention it.

Love the whole family that runs the Guest House, E and his family are welcoming and accommodating, it is clean, and a fair price. I have been coming here the past two years (i have stayed at the hostel, guest house, and resort) and all of them are excellent - I will continue to stay here every time I visit Koh Lanta 💙

Book 1 night stayed 7 ”
Originally booked the blue andaman resort and was going to stay longer however fully booked so we decided to stay at the guesthouse (which is only down the road from the main complex) much preferred the room and was at a cheaper price and you are still able to use all the facilities of the main resort. The guy running it is lovely and couldn't do enough for you, even gave us a free tuk tuk ride to a nice beach down the road. Only complaint is they didn't clean our room but I'm sure if we had asked they would have.

Great price and location.”
Our room was perfect. we got luxuries like a fridge and a hot water pot that we never had anywhere for even twice this price. plus we got to enjoy the pool and beach just down the street. convenient for a motor bike rental and a few simple restaurants. friendly owner who helped us a lot when there was a miscommunication with our purchased bus tickets. highly recommended!!

almost beachfront hotel without beachfront price!”
The owner of the hotel was very nice. The hotel is a short walk away from the beach and very close to a wide array of restaurants and bars. You can rent a scooter here and beetle around the island. Be sure to try Danny's restaurant across the way if you are staying here. Excellent food at an excellent price!

This place if very close to 2 really nice beaches. At the end of the road is a lovely resort owned by the son of the guy who owns this guest house. Guests are welcome to use facilities at the resort. What a score! Bike rental is adorable. Rooms are a bit cramped but WiFi is excellent.

Not reliable”
There was no lock on the door, and even after I insisted, the owner refused to put a lock on the door. I didnt feel safe at night. Also there is a big gap under the door and at night a scorpion came in the room. I waited till it left and had to cover the gap with a towel so it doesn’t come back. However, you can use the blue andamaan resort facility which is great.

Had a great time staying here. The owner is sooo sweet. Very chill hostel vibe. The set up is great. Have access to resort 2 min down the street that has pool and beach. Its walkable to a few restaurants and 711 is super close. I spent 3 weeks here! Loved every minute

I went in the low season so I was the only client in the hostel but it's just a simple hostel . it's not really clean and the beds are kind of shaky but you get for what you paid . the owner is really nice and helpfull but they are never there so it's difficult to reach out. there's free coffee and toasts and hot water showers .
