Arrived to Bohol just ahead of a typhoon and made it to Guindulman Bay Tourist Inn before the rains. It's a really unique and comfortable place in a beautiful and peaceful location. I was honestly sad that I only booked one night, especially when we wound up stuck in a crummy place on Panglao, driving around in the rain for drinks and food when we could have been here! The owners Derick and Anne are lovely hosts and their care for the property really shows. We had a great time chatting with Derick in the garden bar and eating Anne's delicious food, and would love to come back someday.

Great getaway ”
From the moment we stepped into guindulman bay inn and till we left after 5 days, we were well looked after by Derek and Ann. Food was good. Drinks were reasonable. Hospitality was great. The place was clean, simple and comfortable. The room we stayed in (bamboo) was a generous room with a baclony. We had breakfast by there and enjoyed the coconut plantation and hill view. The place is serene and calm. Good place to chill and relax. Will be back very soon.

Excellent stay at the Guindulman Tourist Inn”
This was an unexpected gem in the west of Bohol. Del and his wife Anne welcomed us warmly and we were made to feel as if we were visiting generous friends rather than staying in a hotel. Del's garden is stunning and the property itself is beautifully maintained. We spent the days exploring the area which is a bit more challenging than some other part of the island that have been developed for tourism, but for that reason precisely, it is infinity more charming. The views from the track beyond the Inn are well worth the walk and if you can brave the rather intrepid motorbike journey to the nearby falls you will be well rewarded. There is one more thing that cannot go unmentioned. Anne's chili burger. I would literally fly back to Bohol just to eat this again and wash it down with a cool beer from Del's bar. Even if you don't stay here then you should come to eat!

Totally worth it”
This friendly, super-clean and tasteful inn was much more worthwhile than what I had expected, and than what I paid for. The location may not look the best from the map, but after all, we totally enjoyed the tour in the area, including swimming in waterfall, adventurous cave and white sand Anda beach, all of which not contaminated by crowd. The view from the hill top just behind the house is magnificent. The whole place is meticulously cleaned every day. What made the stay special is the owners, Derick and Ann, who were warm, kind, hospitable and fun to chat with. Ann's cooking was fabulous (never miss her Beef Calderata) and never bored us during our short four days' stay. From morning till night, we enjoyed sitting down at the bar to enjoy the food, drinks (mango rum shake and Derick's original "Boss Cocktail" ) and chat. It made us feel like we were staying at good old friends' home. We rented motorbike they can arrange a car too. Best holiday, for my 6 years old too! Thank you!

a quiet place for you to explore. it was late when we arrived and we were tired, but the room and the bar gave us big comfort. Ann’s burger is a must try! For two days we rent the scooter from the householder and went to sights recommended by Derek. I must say, white beaches in Anda is the best beach during our trip in Philippines! ( our trip is only 8 days...haha) Derek and Ann are really nice host, they even asked about what dishes to add to their menu. It would be a customized menu in the future:) Love the place, no crowded tourists, but friendly local people. Unforgettable memory!

The staff and host is really friendly and helpful. Recommended the best place/mountain to watch the sunset in bohol Island. The place is kind far from the main port, but nothing that catching a bus can solve it. The only improvement needed is the shower...thw volume of water is too low. I do recommend the place.

bit disapointed”
Arrived an hour early and was checked in straight away. Always a big plus in my book. Went to the room and was told it was a fan room and an extra p400 for aircon. In the room details it had a fan but i never check this because for the price i presumed it would be aircon. It is the first time this has happened to me and I stay in a lot of hotels in the philippines. Could you just put the price up by 400 then you won't disappoint customers. Other than that the owners and staff are great, large spotless rooms and beautiful gardens. Thank you

Pleasant and Peaceful”
One of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed in. Open and airy design throughout, with a very large and well taken care of garden. Fresh air and quiet atmosphere. The British owner and his wife were welcoming and great hosts, they thoughtfully accommodated a special request I had. We mostly used it as a base to explore the island and it was great for that. Owner gave us some good recommendations for places to visit. If you're feeling less adventurous the rooms and common areas are also nice if you want to hang out at the hotel. Will probably stay here again sometime next year. Cheers

Peaceful friendly little bit of heaven ”
We were met by Derek and Anna when we arrived. They were so welcoming. Our room was lovely, the whole home was beautiful. It has a pool and a bar aptly named Delboys! Food was wonderful and also some reminders of home cooked food. The apple crumble was amazing. They also have scooters for hire and arranged some scuba diving for us in Anda. We had planned to stay one night but eventually dragged ourselves away after 3 nights. One of those significant holiday memories. Thanks guys. Paul and Niamh

We have a lovely weekend. The owners and the staff really friendly. They gave us all the information needed to make the weekend incredible: what to visit, what to do, etc. We are so use to crowded places that only when you find a small paradise realice how wonderful can be staying in Philippines. Lovely place just off the main road in a beautiful garden setting. Spacious rooms, quiet area and lots of attention to detail. The food at the bar is definitely worth it too. If you don't mind being a bit further from the beach (and the crowds) this is the place to go.

A beautiful and peaceful property tucked into the gorgeous Bohol forest ”
The owners are super friendly and they have developed their staff to deliver on all fronts. The entire property was immaculate and innovative. Id recommend more rooms with air conditioning and partner up with a reliable local rental company for cars and scooters. That said I’d stay again for sure.

Off the beaten path”
I took their largest room which is very spacious with a terrace and private outside tub to relax in. .While there is no gym to work out in there is plenty of space to hike from their compound. They have a pool being built now and also a couple of scooters to rent. You can always relax at their outside bar and have a drink or served food. This place is beautifully landscaped and kept up. British/Philippine owned and operated. I recommend you stop by and say hi to Derrick, Anne and their son Bo. Cheers

Getaway within reach of the beach ”
Seemingly secluded guesthouse but stones throw from the main road with scooter rental to shoot into Anda for caves and beaches. Derek and Anne are amazing hosts, catered to my every need. The food is also delicious and whole design of the place combines the best of Spain and the Philippines. Perfect for a relaxing few days and a great spot for keen walkers too. Highly recommend! Hope to come back

+ very nice garden and pool. + quiet neighborhood, excluding howling of herds of dogs In the nightime. + There's beatiful lookout place on hill. - host smokes cigarettes all the time. Smell comes into the rooms. - the matress was miserable. - Scooter what they rented was total scrap.
