Peaceful Resort at the Foot of the Mountains”
Stayed at the resort for two nights. So peaceful and quiet. Only 10 minutes from the center of Fang. The room was very spacious, as we stayed in the "white house", first cottage on the right. The spring bed was a bit squeaky but it was so comfortable. The bathroom was large and had both an indoor and an outdoor shower. The bedroom was large enough to comfortably for a king bed, a sleeper sofa bed, a loveseat, table, a very comfortable lounge chair, TV and several other pieces of furniture. There was an electric hot water kettle but only 2 tea bags, no instant coffee, sugar or creamer. The air conditioner was quiet and worked well. The only thing the room was missing was a small refrigerator to keep the drinking water cold along with any food items brought in a cooler. Need to order meals in advance. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, however "free-range chicken" does not have much meat. Overall, we were very pleased and would visit again.

The house was so lovely. It was big, very comfortable for 3-4 people. The room was clean, quiet very good for relaxing. The locantion was a bit far from the city, but it would not be a problem if you have car. Staff was really kind and nice. Food was okay. I reccomended this house for any couple or group traveler, and who need a good relaxation.

Roy and Soi, owners of the property, had not planned to build a guest house when they first purchased the property, according to them it sort of evolved as they built and expanded. The result is fantastic, it feels more like you are guests of the family rather than staying at a business, and they've managed to create a very welcoming and at the same time enchanting environment. It's the kind of place you want to spend time at - relaxing and enjoying the ambiance, yet there's also plenty to do in the area such as walk (about 20 minutes) to the hot springs (part of Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park) or hire a driver/guide and do the early morning trek up to Thailand's 2nd highest peak: Doi Pha Hom Pok. Meals can be ordered on-site and all were great - Soi is an enthusiastic cook. My wife and I were very sad to leave - hope to be back again soon!

Beautiful location, lovely managers”
We had a pleasant stay at "Gumbie House", and particularly liked the one bedroom bungalow. The views are gorgeous from the rooms and dining facilities. It is chilly during January evenings, so do bring warm clothes. Don't miss the Sunday Market in Fang, a delightful , non-commercialized event with lots of local food vendors. Thanks Roy and Wife!

We have been in several hotels in Thailand. This family running small place is a gem. Beside that, the hoses are clean and beatiful, the owners are very humble and honest. She made a dinner like in a five star hotel and the place is just stunning. About 1 km further up the road we find the best hot spring with private rooms. Simply the best

Great country property”
Wanted to stay in the countryside in the Fang area without staying in a typical, low-quality Thai hotel. This spot is a gem, run by a Thai couple (speak English well) who live on the property and have three very well appointed rooms. A great public area to enjoy dinner, read a book or enjoy a drink has sweeping views of the mountains and rice fields. A great spot to stay if you want something unique and in the countryside.
