"It was an interesting experience to stay in a room just like what you oftenly saw in Korean TV films. The guesthouse was newly built so everything is new. Just perfect for experiencing. Gyeong-ju is a beautiful city with rich historical sites. If you plans to travel to Gyeong-ju, dont waste your time with hannokville sites in Seoul because this is the places where you see traditional houses with families living inside. "

"It was a great stay. The staff couldn't speak much English but is enough to get you check-in. If you need some information about the area, you can try visiting the Tourist Information at the Gyeongju Train station. This hotel is new and is located at the Gyeongju shopping area. It is a 5 minutes' walk from the Gyeongju train station (Non-KTX) and 15 minutes' walk from the Gyeongju Intercity bus terminal. There were plenty of restaurants nearby and the famous Gyeongju bread shops are around the corner. It is also within walking distance to the city's heritage attractions if you would like to walk and enjoy the journey."

"I spent one glorious night at the DY Hotel in Gyeongju, South Korea in a deluxe suite, having been offered an upgrade when booking. I was on the top floor of the hotel, had two comfortable recliners and a whirlpool bath (which did wonders for my sore body),and a decent view, though the recliners wouldn't recline due to plug adapter issues (US plugs for the reclining mechanism which prevented them from being plugged in). Compared to the Hanok village hotel my friend had booked prior nights and which I ditched after my water heater malfunctioned and began emitting noxious fumes (where I had been sleeping on a pad on the floor and had no chairs, not to mention the noise from children playing outside due to it being a family resort), this was a very welcome respite from the rigors of travel. And for all this it was a quite affordable price. My only regret is not booking the DY hotel from the moment I arrived in Gyeongju."

"Motel is located close to both the Gyeongju Express Bus Terminal and Intercity Bus Terminal, so is very convenient for arrival/departure by bus and is easily visible from outside the bus terminals. There are plenty of eateries/restaurants and convenience stores close by. Short walking distance to the tourist information center and office/meeting place for 1-day Gyeongju city tour. Room is not too big but very comfortable and well equipped with internet/wifi, wide screen TV etc. The whirlpool bath was a nice surprise, and free breakfast (choice of english muffin/toast with coffee/juice and a fruit) delivered to the room, as well as a free sheet mask for ladies in the fridge are nice touches that make the stay even better. Most of the staff don't speak English but they have a nice little booklet in English at the lobby that provides information about attractions/directions and restaurant recommendations. "
