Perfect location as we attended the first halfmoon party since Covic”
We are a couple and thoroughly enjoyed Haad Son Resort. Its approx 35min motorbike ride from ThongSala pier and this is perfect for us as the roads are smooth and easy to ride. The location of the Resort as it has its own private beach is amazing. We stayed for 2 nights and for sure we will come back and stay here again :-)

Breakfast is not good. Using poor quality of coffee. It’s better to book the room without breakfast. Facilities, staffs, restaurants is good. Definitely will come back again.

We stayed 5 days at Haad Son Resort and enjoyed our holidays there. Our room-bungalow style-had a cosy terrasse with a magnificent view on the sunset. The staff was welcoming and keen to help.

Great stay in a fun but aging hotel”
We had good times for the 8-days trip we had with our 2 y/o in one of the beach front rooms. The view and the beach are fantastic and accessible right away, bare foot in the sand. The pool is fun as well, better than what I imagined with the pictures. The bed was very comfortable (soft), the room was clean with good hotel service overall. The staff was nice, helpful and speaks good English. A big highlight for us was the restaurant, Koh Raham where we had breakfast every morning, included with the booking and many dinners. The setting of the restaurant and overall ambiance is amazing (look at pictures to see for yourself). The restaurant's staff was also extremely kind. Some downsides could be the ambiance which was non-existent at the hotel, combined with the aging rooms and facilities. Covid probably didn't helped, but we quickly realized the place has seen better and busier days. Also, more hammocks!! For example on the balconies or on the resort property, would be a nice addition as the plastic chairs were not super comfortable. That said, we had a blast and I would go back any time!

Good Beach and Sea”
Secrete beach is very beautiful and Koh Raham restorant and its sea are also. But overall service improvement is required like room cleaning but considering the price and its environment, I love this hotel. The hotel and other bar together clean up sea gaebages from the beach. That is other benefit for this hotel.

Clean place to relax”
The resort has acces to secret beach, a small nice, but mostly crowded beach. Our room had a nice seaview. The restaurant is quite expensive, food is average. You will need to rent a scooter for allmost anything you want to do outside of the resort. Cheapest place to rent is in the town you arrive by ferry. Hotel Staff is very nice and helpfull. Roms and bungalows are clean and spacious.

Pleasant Stay ”
Overall we had a good time at the Haad Son Resort and we extended for two additional nights. Main reasons for the extension were the stunning beach, the nice snorkelling and Koh Raham Beach Club which we enjoyed very much (even though it is expensive compared to local restaurants). Based on the price we paid for the garden bungalow including breakfast it was totally fine even though we had some smaller issues. The safety deposit box and the aircon did not work at the beginning but that could be fixey by the staff. The window could not be properly closed and locked, that should be changed. It would have been nice if our room had been cleaned at least once during our four nights and the garbage bin emptied. We would definitively come back here as the pros outweigh the cons.

Beautiful location, wouldn't stay anywhere else!”
We were staying on Koh Phangan for one night only to attend the full moon party, after arriving at the Haad Son Resort we wished we were staying longer. We'd booked 2 standard garden villas but our rooms had balconies looking out over the water and the sandy white beach, not sure if we got bumped up or not, but it certainly felt like it. You couldnt wish for a better location than this, we could sit on the balcony and watch the sun set over the crystal clear waters of Haad Son beach. Not sure why you would though when there is one of the best bars on the planet only 50 meters away! If it weren't for the full moon party we would have spent all day and night sitting there enjoying the view and ridiculously cheap drinks. After reading some of the reviews we had been slightly concerned about the distance from the hotel to the full moon party (being at the other end of the island) but the hotel organised a shuttle bus to take us down running services at 7, 9 and 11pm... and the cab ride home afterwards set us back only a few hundred baht! Easily worth it to be staying in such an amazing location! If we head back again (which we plan to do) i wont even bother looking at accommodation options, I'll be booking at the Haad Son Resort for sure! Would fully recommend it.

Beautiful beach”
Haad Son Resort is one of the best place in Koh Phangan where you can enjoy a beautiful, clean and quiet beach... Moreover, they have this bay where we can jump and swim with a school of colorful fishes. The staffs are friendly and helpful. They will give us some bread to feed the fishes. Oo, my kids love it. We love it and will definitely be coming back again to this resort. Thank you, Haad Son. We will see you again :*

great location, friendly stuff, old bungalows”
This resort has a really good position, it is situated at a best part of an island and very close to Haad Yao and Haad Salad, the most beautiful beaches at Phangan. The resort is in the middle of a small jungle, very nice organized, with a lot of flowers, trees, grass. It is in thai style and has a small lovely beach. The breakfast is great. We have booked the cheapest bungalow, and we got what we payed for: nice terrace, very small basic room and bathroom. The bad was OK, but the bungalow need some renovating. Everything is old, and bathroom is pathetic. I think the price was just for old bungalows, they have and completely new ones. The stuff is friendly and if you need something, they'll get it for you. The rooms were cleaned every day. On the arriving the hotel provide transfer from the pier which is free of charge. On the way back, you have to pay it.
