Excellent trip at Halong Bay!”
We had a great time in our trip to Halong Bay courtesy of Glory Legend Cruise. From the pick up to hotel, to the waiting area in the port, to the facilities of the cruise itself, to the food that they serve and the attractions/activities in halong bay. We had a great view and great time in our 2 days 1 night cruise! It must be noted that the water in Halong Bay is not clear, thus you cannot enjoy swimming unlike in Palawan, Philippines or other beaches. I was able to get information on the cruise from other booking sites. However, pricing wise, Agoda gave me a good pricing with 10% discount! Thus, were able to save as much as USD 25 per head. Also, unlike in other sites, Agoda provide free cancellation and no advance payment.

Awesome experience”
We had a wonderful stay with Glory Legend Cruise with good services from hotel staffs especially the cruise manager. However, we felt that it could have been better if there are more rest time interval in between program and activities. Overall, We recommend Glory Legend Cruise for halong bay trip

Thoroughly enjoyable”
Our 2-day / 1-night trip with Glory Legend was extremely enjoyable. As we travelled as a family, we had two adjourning rooms. While there was no balcony, all rooms have full height sliding windows which you can open to welcome the Halong Bay breeze. It was a treat just sitting by the windows! The crew on board was an enthusiastic and professional team, and the staff did a great job executing the programme and leading the island visits. The local Vietnamese and seafood meals prepared by the kitchen, helmed by a young lady chef, were delicious. A crew member (sorry didn't take note of the young man's name) also took the initiative to entertain our table by demonstrating the various napkin folding techniques after dinner. Itinerary worked for us as it was fairly well spaced and it didn't feel too rushed.

Great crew, Good food, Great experience ”
Pick us up right from where we stayed at Hanoi. Driver was late about 20mins but I think it's normal because the old quarter streets could easily be congested. Overall bus transfer to Halong Bay is comfortable and clean limo bus with much leg room. Friendly staff guide us to cruise and warm welcome presentation from crew captain. We got on Pelican cruise instead of Glory legend. Pelican cruise is bigger in size compare to Glory. Rooms are not big but comfortable. Toilet is clean but you can see some hairs underneath the wooden tiles. Buffet lunch and 5 course dinner are good. Very friendly staff and takes good care of us. Overall, great experience cruising along Pelican cruise but the attractions and stops we went are so crowded and you can see many other company cruises alongside with you.

A must when in vietnam”
We had such a lovely 3 days on board the glory cruise. Amazing scenery we will never forget and the boat is very modern, clean and comfortable. We had a lovely host named 'happy', he spoke excellent english and went above and beyond to ensure all guests were happy. He was also full of lots of local knowledge, which was very helpful in places such as the caves. Food was brilliant on board, however you get farrrrr too much plus in our opinion too much seafood (and we love seafood!). So if your not so keen i suggest opting for the meat only option. If your in halong bay go with glory cruises.

Survived the bus trip-phew!”
January 2017, family with kids (9&15). Not on a million dollar budget, this seemed the best option in our price range. After 3 weeks of travelling Vietnam, it was a destination we were looking forward to. The bus trip was long, uncomfortable and a bit nerve wracking. The number of times our driver slammed on the brakes was disconcerting but we eventually made it to our destination. The tourist trap marble monument refreshment stop was a welcomed toilet stop, but the disabled artist workshop was not a highlight. Items are very overpriced and with due respect to the artists (a bit tacky). You're best off stocking up on some snacks and drinks to take on the bus with you prior to leaving Hanoi. On the long trip up, we passed by some very interesting towns and villages, however, our guide was snoozing, so we didn't get any commentary and therefore have no idea what some of the stuff was we passed. Upon arrival in Ha Long Bay terminal area, it is obvious what a huge industry this cruise business is. It's misleading when you see photos of the beautiful Ha Long Bay and one cruise boat. Believe me, there's scores of them, and you won't feel like you're on your own, it's like being in a regatta. After a medium wait time while passports and other administrative stuff was done, the vessel was restocked and ready to board. I would not recommend this particular cruise for anyone who has any sort of mobility issues, possibly even just the use of a walking stick or slight unsteadiness on your feet, as the gangplank up to the bow is a little precarious, though the friendly staff assisted all on board. After a brief welcome and safety induction (yes there did seem to be enough life jackets for everyone!), we were allocated our cabins and left to explore. Note: there is no safety rail at the bow of the vessel, so those with small or curious kids may need to tie a rope on them. Upstairs was a nice little sundeck & bar area. Areas for improvement would be the addition of som

Glory by name, glory by nature!”
We had a thoroughly magnificent 2 day cruise on Halong bay. My son and I had a few issues with our booking, which the Glory cruise Company sorted out to our complete satisfaction. the staff were corteous, efficient and very accommodating. Halong Bay lived up to it's inclusion in the 7 natural wonders of the world, and the cruise allowed us to experience its wonder and beauty.

Great cruise”
We would highly recommand glory legend/Pelican cruises. The cruise was a joy to be in, from the first minute of the pickup to when they dropped us off at the hotel. The company has a dedicated area at the cruise centre where we could wait for the wait to the cruise, so we didn't have to squeeze with the crowd at the main cruise center. They even served us a nice welcome tea while we waited. On board the cruise, the staff took great care of us. Activities was ok, we would have preferred more swimming and kayaking, but otherwise nothing to complain about. The rooms were nice, 4 star accomodations! All in all, a reliable company and comfortable cruise!

Staff made this trip 1000x better!”
I originally booked this trip with a friend, but we booked it separately and ended up on different boats. Everyone else on the boat was in a large group, leaving me as the only solo traveler. The staff saw this immediately and became my "friends" while doing everything they could to make me feel comfortable and make sure I was having a good time. They didn't just do this for me, but for everyone else on the boat as well. The excursions took us to beautiful viewpoints and were all included in the price of the cruise. There was way more food that I could eat but it tasted incredible. I would definitely recommend this company for a Halong Bay cruise!

The full package!”
I went on this trip with my brother to explore Ha Long Bay. We were picked up from our hotel in Hanoi by a mini bus filled with other fellow travellers. It took a little while for them to get us on board (felt like there was a lot of waiting around, especially after the ride from Hanoi). But when we finally did get on board it was a fantastic experience. The service was very good, they always kept us informed of the activities that were coming up and gave us the flexibility to decide which activity to follow/or not. The bed was comfortable and it was so nice to wake up to the view in the morning. So many photos taken during our stay on this cruise! We loved it and would recommend this to our friends and family.

The staff were very friendly and informative. The room was clean and comfortable. The meals were gre”
The only negative I had about the tour was that I booked a family room for my family of 5 which slept 4. I expected to pay a surcharge for one more child but 3 days before the tour left I was notified by the cruise company I would have to pay 75% of the adult cost as a surcharge for 2 children, despite only needing one more bed. It would have been cheaper to book 2 separate rooms but by then was too late to change. Very disappointed with the Glory Legend's sales team. However, everything else was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the cruise.

Repeat of program for 3D2N option”
Toilets did not look like the ones in the photo (no marbled walls). Cruise is very commercialized as there was little thought put into organizing activities for 3D2N group. If you decide to go for the 3D2N option, pls note that on the 2nd day, you will be transferred to a day cruise in the morning to explore the quieter parts of Halong Bay. Meanwhile, the cruise will drop-off the remaining 2D1N group and pick-up a new group of passengers. You will return to the cruise at about 3pm and the activity will then be the same as the first day. In this aspect, the cruise should really think about having a different program for people who paid for ab additional night. With that said, overall it was still a nice experience with good service from crew members

Don't see the point of spending more on other more expensive cruises. Glory Legend fit the bill nicely! :)

fantastic 2 night 3 day cruise!”
My husband and I and 2 children (aged 10 and 12) did the 2 night and 3 day cruise in early October. I could not fault the entire cruise and itinerary. The captain, crew, chef and guides were all so kind and accomodating. Nothing was too much trouble. We particularly enjoyed the kayaking and swimming. The meals were amazing and several courses. You will not go hungry. I would recommend that anyone do the 2 night and 3 day cruise as it takes you further into the bay and as a result there are fewer cruise ships. The only down fall is Shen you get off the cruise you have to wait in the arrival/departure lounge for 1 and 1/2 hours! I would suggest that you sit in the cooler section of room (near the desk) and take a book!

Free Upgrade to Pelican Cruise”
We initially booked for the Glory Premium Cruise but were upgraded for free to their sister company, the Pelican Cruise. No complaints there as Pelican is a 5 star cruise and is bigger than the Glory Cruise. Staff and service were great. Cruise itinerary were awesome too, though it would be better if they had more activities on board. Overall, it was a great vacation.

Relaxing, fun, beautiful”
We loved the cruise and would highly recommend it, the staff and organisation of activities were great. Meals were lovely and portions were good. The activities were fun and the standard of the boat and cabins were clean, comfortable and a high standard. Halong bay itself is amazing, even a little bit of bad weather did not spoil it.

Activity based cruise in a fantastic location”
Cruise was action packed in the unbelievable Halong Bay region but packed in too much activity for 2 days with little time for relaxation to appreciate the natural beauty of the area. Food on board was excellent - again probably over catered. Staff and English speaking guide were extremely polite and helpful. A visit to this North West region of Vietnam is a must for anyone interested in natual beauty!

Perfect mis-range cruise”
I got a good price at Agoda for choosing non-refundable 2D1N package. The staff who took care of our needs are excellent and commendable for their tip-top service. The cabin I chose has everything needed ie sink, toilet, shower with hot water, comfy beds and the plus point is the tiny balcony which allows us to gaze the beauty of Halong Bay.
