Great location with sea view. Great comfortable room. Staff were helpful and tried their very best to help us to arrange our transportation to our destination. We truly appreciate this a lot as we could not find much information on the transportation.

Pros - very comfortable hotel, big rooms and beds, very clean, great buffet breakfast choice and staff were excellent, gave great service. Cons- you would think that as it’s on sea front at Halong Bay it would be a great location but I found the area half built, quiet and therefore little to do, not what I wanted on a backpacking trip round Vietnam. General - it is a very nice hotel with great service. It may have just been because it was low season that the area was so quiet. When the area is finished, the beach area, numerous new hotels being built and all the infrastructure being put in place means it may end up a great place, but not yet. If I was visiting again I would not visit Halong but go straight to eg Cat Ba. Finally - this is a lovely luxurious hotel which I suppose I enjoyed for a rest day, amazing service but did not like its location, apart from that great hotel.

Nice room and hotel, soso breakfast”
As said in other reviews: its away from the amusement park area, avoided the noise. One night we ate beside the Sunworld park, around 9pm, one restaurant started pumping out loud noise. We couldnt stand it and quickly finished and left. Glad that we didnt stay in that area. Overall good. Breakfast is fair, nothing bad but also nothing excellent. Counter is helpful, speaking good English.

Beyond excellent! ”
We stayed here; paid 3-star rates for a decent 4-star hotel. This hotel is situated in a quiet beach front area of Ha Long, close to downtown area and view towards the cable car. The facilities in the hotel is first class, and their staff super helpful and friendly. Hotel has a gym and nice pool area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here....I will highly recommend this hotel.

Hi, we just came back from Vietnam. We stayed in Halong Plaza Hotel.The hotel was fantastic, staff was great. The food was good too. The staff was very prompt in service and answering queries. About the surrounding the place is dead unless you want to travel far. I will recommend all to visit this hotel as it is cheap and good.

Fantastic hotel for the price, ideal for day trips and cruises In halong Bay. The rooms are large well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay, the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, close to the hotel are many restaurants and bars, would definitely be staying here again.

Excellent breakfast, rooms and roomservice. Out of season the pool isnt in use, so you have to pay for a taxi to visit another hotels pool. All in all, would recommend!

Great service/price offer”
The offer on Agoda was perfect for this hotel. The view of the bridge is great, but Ha Long city is under construction, so you need to book a boat tour if you want to entertain yourself. Kids will entertain themselves in the pool. At night, there is a lovely boulevard with all local folk and music, food and drinks. While during the day, this city seems abandoned. So if you’re young; go to the boulevard at night and book a trip during the day. Or just stay at the pool/spa. Staff was amazing and vert helpfull/friendly!!

One of the best hotel in Halong City”
This was my second time to stay in Halong Plaza. My first stay was nice that's why I came back to this hotel. However my second was better, my room at 602 is way better than my room before on the 10th floor. The breakfast buffet is one of the best in Halong City. Overall this hotel is worthwhile and I'll give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐
