Truly Brilliant Boutique Hotel”
My septuagenarian parents and I went to Vietnam for the first time and we stayed at the Hanoi Brilliant Hotel for 4 nights. AS TO LOCATION, the Hanoi Brilliant is perfect being close to many restaurants, street diners, and shops. A bank with good rates is just 20 meters away. Hoan Kiem Lake is a short leisurely wallk from the hotel. AS TO THE HOTEL FACILITIES, both the bedroom and bathroom were very spacious and well-provided. Although there was no window to the inner rooms, I never felt claustrophobic at any time. The room was thoroughly cleaned everyday. Breakfast buffet was served daily at the top floor that kept us full to beyond lunchtime. AS TO THE STAFF, they were the best part of the hotel experience. The front desk staff was very courteous and really aim to please their guests. They even went out of their way by accompanying us to a nearby restaurant we couldn't find. They even surprised my dad with a cake on his birthday. We were sad to leave but will surely return.

Brilliant Gem of a hotel”
From first contact Hanoi Brilliant and all their staff were amazing! They arranged for our collection at the airport and we’re waiting when we arrived to take our bags. The room was lovely, clean and had full choice of complimentary toiletries which was great. The staff were super attentive, giving us an amazing guide to Hanoi city and map with suggestions of where we should visit. Mai, Tea and Mimi at the front desk were lovely every time we went through. For a small boutique hotel it was excellent value for money with delicious breakfast options for both buffet style (Vietnamese options in warmers and fresh fruit) and Al a Carte dining where we could order French toast, eggs, pancakes, Pho and more made fresh in the kitchen. Dong in the restaurant was super friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and we will definitely be returning when we come back to Hanoi next time. Thank you Hanoi Brilliant!

Booked a night at this hotel after having bad experiences at another hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter. The Brilliant Hotel is in our experience been pretty much exactly like the name says -brilliant. Our room was fantastic. Very clean, fresh, way better than I expected and the bath room the cleanest and best we've had on our Asian travels so far. For a young couple this was perfect and a life saver, since its not a guarantee to find such an accomodation on short notice, I guess we were very lucky and fortunate to stay here. When we come back to Hanoi we will definately stay here again. Special thank you and compliments to the young gentleman with glasses at the reception who introduced himself as "dragon" and took amazing care of us at arrival and departure the next day. Very friendly and professional, I almost felt bad we could not stay longer in that wonderful room. Thank you for the upgrade. We had a great stay.

Definitely recommend for foreigners”
My group of 3 stayed at Hanoi Brilliant hotel in the May and they were excellent in providing us with the help we needed to get around Hanoi. We stayed in the connecting room and it was absolutely fantastic. Very clean and private. Housekeeping kept it in shape every day while we were out exploring. The front desk provided us with a bunch of recommendations and prepared taxi rides to and from the airport. We also arrived super late around 12am and they were ready for us no problem. We even needed to stay an extra day which they were able to accommodate for us. The location is absolutely amazing too as you're just a couple blocks away from Hoan Kiem Lake. Quick tip: explore the lake in the evening on the weekend for a fun surprise! Would definitely recommend staying here!

It's really a brilliant hotel.”
Stayed here for 4 nights with my cousin, and we had an excellent time. The staffs were accommodating even if we arrived during the wee hours of the morning. The other staffs were engaging and easy to talk to. Breakfast everyday is varied with some old time classics of pho, eggs, bacon, sausages always present. Location is near to shops and walking tour trails, Hoan Kiem lake & St. Joseph's cathedral. Lot's of places to eat around; the have an excellent spa; the room we stayed in was compact, comfortable, and clean. If I come back to Hanoi, I'll definitely stay in this place again, really value for money. Brilliant!

Friendly, kind staffs and great location”
The staffs were extremely kind, nice and very friendly. Kept asking if there was any inconvenience or anything to improve. We arrived very late at night and the light was off and the entrance was closed. But as soon as we approached the staffs quickly came out and helped us check in. The breakfast was also great, we ordered some extra menus too. Hotel is located at a perfect place, it's close to the Hoan Kiem Lake and other touring spots. We could stop by and take short rest while travelling around. We could even take a shower after checking out, before leaving for the airport. Hotel Spa is also nice, but I would recommend you to get massage in the morning or in the afternoon. We got massage two times, and one in the afternoon and one in the night. But the therapists seemed very tired, didn't have much energy left. Overall much satisfied. Would definitely visit again when I go to Hanoi.

Excellent Stay”
I had a wonderful stay while at Hanoi thanks to the comfort and their emphasis on cleanliness of the hotel, and the room. The room was nicely designed with my favourite colour. Feel it was the best room that suits my taste. And aside that, breakfast was amazing. Limited selection, but made of quality produce and passion. And the staff was very friendly and helpful, with strong command of English compared to the general public and other hotels nearby. Overall, it was a 5-star stay at a very reasonable price.

Excellent location to walk around Hanoi. Quiet to sleep. Room was clean and balcony was lovely. Breakfast was awesome and the staff of the hotel and the spa were helpful and a pleasure to speak with. The massage and facial was amazing. Our flight was early and they provided us breakfast to go. Customer service was above and beyond and was the perfect finish to our stay in Vietnam. I will stay here again and highly recommend it.

Family trip”
I went on a family trip. All the employees who were there in the morning were kind. (especially HUONG ANH) The room was clean, but the bathroom was moldy and poorly drained. Nevertheless, we were able to get along well thanks to the staff who kindly helped us every time. This hotel is located with a good tour of the old city. I could rent an empty room and take a shower on the last day. I'm generally satisfied.

Pros: Walking distance to some tourist attractions(10-15mins), convenience store nearby, room is compact size but clean and tidy, helpful staff, good masseurs (my masseur is Daisy and she's great), good breakfast selection Cons: Breakfast is at level 9 so have to walk up the stairs at lift stop at level 8, might not be ideal for old folks Conclusion: Will recommend to anyone who's on a budget and looking for a value for money hotel stay

Good place to stay at Hanoi”
A convenient place to stay at Hanoi with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is fine. The Touch Spa is nice and reasonably priced although the construction next door was too noisy and affected a bit. Overall it is a very nice place and the room is clean. We got free upgrade for the first night to executive room.

This is the best hotel we stay during our hanoi trip. we loved it so much and we regreat that we only booked for 1 night there. we tried to ask to stay more nights, but unfortunately they are fully booked. but they are really kind to help us arrange. Very sweet of them. we love the staffs, they are very nice and sweet. I love the spa so much, reasonable price and skill is well done. conclusion, we love it and definately recomanded and will be there again for sure.

The staff at Hanoi Brilliant Hotel and Spa are very friendly and helpful. When we got lost, they even helped to book a Grab to pick us up. The spa is very good as well. We were pleasantly surprised when we were given breakfast to take away as our flight was early in the morning. We had a good time and miss the wonderful staff at the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hanoi Brilliant. The staff were all so kind and helpful. They greeted us by name every time we left hotel and returned.
