Busy hotel with lots of Russian Tourists”
The area of Nha Trang is notorious for Russian tourists. Some are lovely, some are not so lovely, and in Nha Trang : they're unavoidable. This aside, the area is beautiful, and there's lovely city walking and beaches in the area. Great restaurant just down the road called Lanterns (3 days in a row) an excellent place for breakfast if you want to have a calm relaxed breaky while planning the day - instead of the hectic, high stress table grabbing atmosphere of the Hanoi Golden Hotel's breakfast room! Our room itself was great - we were upgraded to a deluxe beach view room upon arrival. Comfy bed, mini bar, large balcony, big bath tub... my only gripe was that the room (and entire hallway outside the room) reeked of cigarettes. It is extremely evident that there are some very rude guests who smoke in their rooms despite it being a non smoking hotel. The fire alarm went off twice while we were staying there! We were going to complain at first - but after leaving our door and window open for a few hours while we left for dinner, the smell as gone from our room.

What a wonderful trip!!!”
The location of Hanoi Golden Hotel is a very good place for tourist to stay and enjoy! From here, you can go to the beach, just around 5 mins by walking. Go to Long Son Pagoda (the biggest pagoda in Nha Trang) and can have foods around the hotel easily! Same for other interest places around the hotel, such as Stone Church, XQ embroidery, just take you a few mins! Staff were very pleasant, allowing us an early check in at 9am, and attending to our every need. The 15th floor pool has a panoramic view of the beach and hill. I will comeback this hotel on the next time.

Brand new hotel in a great location”
Hanoi Golden is a new hotel in a great part of town. It's near all the restaurants, shops, bars, travel agents and a short walk to the beach. It has a nice new feel (and smell!) to it, with spacious bedrooms and nice facilities. However.....it's perhaps a bit "too" new. The rooms don't fully resemble the pictures shown. It's quite clear the photos have been taken of an example of what the finished rooms should/would look like. The room we were given had none of the wall features, paintings/pictures or finishings that were shown in the photos. Plus, the rooftop pool and bar (also shown in the photos on the website) doesn't yet exist. It's a pile of rubble up there with a lots of brickwork not yet finished, new chairs stacked up in the corner for a future bar one day, and a basic swimming pool not yet bricked in and full of rain water. The 3 stars on the hotel building are also taped over or covered up, so it seems they haven't yet received their official 3 star recognition from whatever authority. Teething problems for new hotels. Back to the room.....it was a nice size, had a lovely big, comfortable bed, monogrammed bed linen and towels(why bother!?), a small window yet still let in enough natural light not to complain about, and a very nice bathroom. Fixtures and fittings (like a safe, tea/coffee facilities, etc) were absent but we put that down to the newness of the hotel and I'm sure they'll follow in due course. Breakfast was delicious and very extensive although it was a little chaotic, with staff not knowing whether to serve you or let you serve yourself! Staff were dressed very smartly and were very eager to help with anything. Overall, we'd recommend this but check ahead first whether the pool and bar are finished and open if that's a deciding factor for you.

Lovely stay, worth every penny I promised!”
I and my girlfriend had a lovely stay at the Hanoi Golden hotel last weekend. As all the previous comments, nice location in the heart of nightlife/foreigners streets, 5-mins walk to the beach. The hotel was new and clean, room was quite big with nice decorations, all the stuff in room worked nicely (shower, hairdryer, TV, air-con, kettle etc.), bed was comfy, we slept very well, all the things were quite fresh (towels, linens). The staff were all accommodating and friendly. Cheap drinks at the rooftop bar (level 15, next to a small swimming pool). Only 1 very minor thing is that there's no curtain at the bathtub to prevent the bathroom's floor from getting wet after our shower. Room tip: if you choose a Deluxe city view balcony room, request level 8, cause the l.8 balcony is the biggest. If you go with your family, take 2 connecting rooms on that floor cause they share that balcony so you have a very big terrace outside your room! :)

This is one of the best 3-star hotels I have stayed at in Nha Trang! The hotel is very new. The staff was great. I was at awe as soon as I entered my room. It turned out that the staff had upgraded me to a suite room. Thank you! The room decoration was awesome. The bed was very comfortable. Good size TV. Internet works great and was fast. The hotel has a rooftop bar with nice view and the blowing afternoon wind felt so wonderful and refreshing. They have a very affordable menu for lunch and drinks. You should definitely check it out if you plan to stay at this hotel. The breakfast buffet has good variety of items. The staff performance was superb and very attentive and accommodating. I definitely will come back here again. Bottom line: new hotel, very comfortable, great staff, nice rooftop bar, highly recommended.

Loved out stay at the Hanoi Golden Hotel. It's in a great location -a short walk to the beach, surrounded by eateries and shops. The roof top bar and pool area is fantastic. It's on the 14th floor so has a great view of Nha Trang and catches the afternoon breezes most days. The drinks are incredibly cheap and the service is great. Breakfast is a good variety of western and asian foods with eggs cooked to order. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Myself and my wife had a wonderful stay at hanoi golden hotel that is why we left to dalat for couple of days and booked again in hanoi golden hotel , after we came back from dalat the reception staff welcomed us back and Ms Nguyen Chau made an early checking in which made me and my wife very appreciated , also the fast check in and check out .

We had a most enjoyable stay at Hanoi Golden as the room ambience was modern and clean and the room has an ocean view. Most of all I would commend Restaurant chief Mr. Tran Nam Trieu highly for his courtesy and well organised breakfast which was sumptuous.On our day of departure we had to leave very early for the airport and he had thoughtfully arranged for breakfast to be packed and waiting for us at the Reception. This gesture alone makes me want to come back to Hanoi Golden Hotel on my next visit to Nha Trang.

Awesome Brand New Hotel”
We were very happy with Hanoi Golden Hotel. The Hotel had only opened up a few weeks before we arrived so everything was brand new. If you are planning on booking during Feb or March of 2013, maybe email them to see if the pool is ready yet. We were disappointed to find out that it was not complete when we were there, despite what agoda says. The buffet breakfast is great too. Tons of fruits and veggies.

I had a nice stay and really like the room”
I booked a deluxe city view with balcony then we got upgraded to deluxe sea view with balcony for free. The room itself in general is windy, clean, but not very spacious, it's decent while the bathroom is actually very spacious. That I like! Hot water is available and strong too. Buffet breakfast is ok. I rate 5 stars for the attitude of the staffs, especially the F&B manager Tran Nam Trieu. He's helpful, friendly, and tries to make all the guests feel like home. He paid attention to my demanding kiddo and gave him extra yogurts till my son said no more, no more mom! :) The location adds another point to this hotel. Surrounded by plenty of restaurants, shops, and service centers. 5 mins walk to the nearest beach and Sailing Club. The area is not noisy at night though. It was an peaceful, nice trip we had. Thanks to all the staffs of Hanoi Golden Hotel. Will be back for sure! Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the building. It has partial sea view and seems quieter.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Hanoi a Golden Hotel. It's centrally located so great for walking to the beach or to shops and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and attentive and try to help in every way they can. The international breakfast buffet was delicious and provided fresh omelette and pancakes as well as rice, pho, fruit and toast. There's an intimate rooftop bar and rooftop pool that provide great views over the city towards the beach at sunset. The hotel also provided an airport shuttle service, which was 50% cheaper than a taxi ride.

excellent value and service”
The hotel was very clean, well designed, and conveniently located. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Every member of the staff really made an effort to welcome me. I needed help translating some documents, one of the staff (Thanh) volunteered to help but refused to accept any form of payment for his time. That was really surprising. The Hanoi Golden is a superb hotel. I received excellent service at great value. It was the best hotel that I stayed at during my trip.

perfect Nha Trang hotel”
The Hanoi Golden does everything right! Kind staff with welcoming smiles from the reception to the breakfast team and housekeeping. The rooms are modern with big bathrooms. After check out you can leave your bags with the security guard. They even offer a shower up by the pool if your bus or flight leaves in the evening, towel provided by hotel. Truly recommended without hesitation !!!

Excellent hotel to stay”
We had an excellent stay at the hotel. The location was excellent, near bus stop, taxis out the front,2 blocks from the beautiful beach. We stayed on the 12th floor with a great view looking out to the sea with a balcony. Pool on the top floor with a bar and meals, perfect outlook of the city. Rooms were spacious and clean, staff helpful and friendly. This is the hotel to stay at Nha Trang.

It was fantastic. the manager Tran nam Trieu was fantastic, always friendly, greeting us each morning with a smile on his face. Our daughter turned 19 while we stayed at the Hanoi Golden and on the day of her birthday after returning from a day out there was a beautifully decorated cake awaiting her in her room. A great touch, when we hadn't even mentioned to staff that it was her birthday. Definitely go back again.

Great staff and good location”
This hotel was very good value for money. As with most of my stays in SE Asia, the staff were extremely helpful and very welcoming. The location is good and not too far from the beach. It is just around the corner from the main hustle and bustle of Nha Trangs nightlife. For me, close enough to be able to experience the nightlife but far enough away to escape it when you want some peace and quiet.

We had 4 nits stay under 2 bookings, from 24th to 27th Sep... my girlfriend was sick when we arrived there on 24th, one of front office Receptionist( a tall & handsome boy, with friendly smile but not sure his name "Quan or something) offered panadol and assisted us ordered congee as well from the room service, he also assisted us for money change.... Thanks lot bro! Hotel was fine, but nice breakfast and easy to sightseeing... don't forget try VINPOLAND & DIVING in Nha Trang!!!

Our two night stay was great at the Hanoi Golden hotel. Really close to beach and good restaurants. Room was spacious and luxurious compared to other 3* hotels we have stayed in in Vietnam. The only complaint I have is of the reception staff who never seemed bothered and were slow when we checked out. The restaurant staff were very pleasant however.
