Wow! What a great hotel!”
What a wonderful hotel. As travelers during the COVID-19 outbreak, when my friends and I arrived at the La Siesta Central Hotel, our temperature was taken, and our hands sprayed with sanitizer. Bin, the friendly front desk host invited us to sit down and enjoy a cup of tea and a cool towel as our check-in process was completed. He then escorted us to our guestrooms to ensure everything was as we expected. The rooms are beautifully appointed, with comfortable beds and a/c. The complimentary buffet breakfast at the Red Bean is one of the best I’ve ever experienced, with fresh juices, homemade yogurt, salads, hot dishes, both American and Asian, and eggs cooked to order. All was fresh and delicious and at breakfast, the staff would greet us by name and remember how we liked our eggs. The hotel is in the best location in the old quarter, just a block away from beautiful Hoàn Kiếm Lake. Throughout our stay, I was amazed at how genuinely kind the staff at the La Siesta Central Hotel was.

I stayed at La Siesta Central Hotel. It was the best service I've ever seen. I am so touched when they prepared a surprise birthday cake and song. The room was so clean and the rooftop bar and the breakfast was also great. All employees were very kind and professional. Everything was much more great than I expected. I'd' like to appreciate to all employees about their thoughtful service.

Staff is very eager to please. Elena let me check in my room early so I could rest after my flight. Room was clean; sheets were soft and had no strong smell, bathroom had a working bidet and drain. Breakfast had great coffee and custom eggs. They arranged transpo for me to the airport at 6AM and even gave me a breakfast bag!

The staff all spoke perfect English and were very welcoming and warm. The welckms drink experience was a nice touch. Check in was fast and concierge was well informed. Decor super stylish. The lifts take a while as there are only two in this existing building conversion. Staff share the lifts work guests. The room was super clean. Linen comfy, there are pillow selections which is great! Bathroom the vanity mirror is unstable, so watch out for that! I knocked mine over unfortunately. The desk doesn't have a light which makes it difficult to work at. Corridors and rooms smell fresh! Windows double glazed which means a good night rest is possible in busy old town. Location wonderful! Lastly, the staff were so generous and welcoming. When on top floor and waiting for our transfer to sapa, early morning, the F&B team knew when our car had arrived and everyone was quite on the ball. We only had time for a small bite of breakfast, just wish they had more vegetarian options!

Great location with very good restaurant and bar offering superb views over Hoan Kiem Lake. Spotlessly clean and tidy, excellent staff, high quality rooms, window view or balcony best. Rooms well sound proofed except doors to corridor, a common problem in Vietnam.

We stayed at Hanoi La Siesta Central Hotel & Spa and truly enjoyed it. The front desk staff (in particular Richard and Pucca) were really friendly and helpful and were kind enough to provide my partner with some tea before our flight as he was not feeling well. They made us feel so welcome and their level of customer service was superb. We booked a balcony room and it was beautiful, the decor was nice and the bed was really comfortable. The hotel was in a really good location and within walking distance to so many places to eat!! It was close to a lot of good restaurants and street food/local places to eat. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when in Hanoi.

Gem in the Old Quarters”
La Siesta Central is the kind of hotel you love to be rocking up to amidst all the mediocre, non-chain hotels you tend to find in Hanoi. The staff are immensely welcoming and thoughtful. Seeing how I was feeling a tad unwell (sorethroat) upon my arrival, they got to making a lovely ginger honey tea for me immediately, in addition to the sparkling welcome drink they had prepared. Although it had only be 2 nights this time round, we felt a strong sense of familiarity with the hotel staff, and every time we returned to the hotel after a few short jaunts about town, it was like returning to a calming oasis. The rooms are well-decked out in classic furnishings and well-insulated from the cacophonous street sounds below. However, to get a sense of where you are, simply swing open the balcony doors and voila - the toots and honks greet you with gusto. I'd strongly recommend this hotel for anyone desirous of a "classy" experience with its old world charm in an old charming city.

I loved everything about La Siesta Hotel. This boutique hotel is situated in the Old quarters of Hanoi so going around the city was so convenient . We booked an executive room and it was clean and new and my boyfriend loved the smart tv :) the only flaw was it was a windowless room ...overall, the interiors of the hotel were gorgeous...most of all best commendation goes to the staff who made our visit so unforgettable.. special mention to Mai, a supervisor of the hotel. who really took time out to help us coordinate our tours and book us another half day room while we wait out for our red eye flight … they prepared for us food-to-go and even presented us this lucky handmade ornament to remember our stay...What is service par excellence? La siesta is !!!

The service provided by the staff is excellent. During check-in, the staff will give you a copy of the hotel map and orientate you to the various sites around the hotel and Hanoi where you can visit, shop and dine. When we told them we were considering doing a tour to Halong Bay, they provided us with a couple of options but never pushy. Eventually we booked a 2 day 1 night tour with Genesis Regal Cruise through them which was awesome. We tried to book to stay back at La Siesta Central when we come back from Halong Bay but it was fully booked. We eventually stayed at its sister hotel La Siesta and they provided us with the same level of excellent service. We will definitely stay at the La Siesta chain again when I visit Hanoi in the future.

I stayed in the La Siesta Central for two nights and they asked me if I'd also like to try their new La Siesta Premium, just 200m up the road. So I got to stay in two hotels by the EHG chain. Both are excellent. They are decorated with elegance and their staff go out of their way to help guests enjoy their stay. Both hotels have rooftop bars. Central has the Twilight Bar and Premium has the Lighthouse Bar - which offer happy hours, city views, and live music. My only problem was that my fiance (wasn't with me) saw my pics of the hotel and now wants to try them too... so I guess I'll have to book another trip to Hanoi.
