Hotel and situation is perfect. Night clubs and surrounding pubs far too loud if you are wanting any sleep before 4.30am

Great spot in middle of town, nice staff. Clean room. 4 flights of stairs to tackle every day. Loud till 3am on Saturday night, 2am on Sunday. This is noted on the listing, just noting in case someone expects early bedtime quiet. Great bar. Wish in room TV had sky sports on so I could watch matches in my room versus in the bar with loud music on. Bed wasn't great lumpy and creaky, no top sheet only heavy quilt. Hotel in London was same so suspect it's a country custom. Would stay there again.

Fantastic value”
Great value accommodation in the centre of Liverpool. The only issue was noise from the street, however I brought along ear plugs in anticipation which was a big help. Otherwise everything was perfect, great cooked breakfast and very clean and tidy room and ensuite.

Basic but ok”
Stayed one night in a single room. It was very outraged but cosy. Comfortable bed and clean shower. The noise outside in the morning is enough to wake the dead. Breakfast was nice. The staff were great. The bar downstairs is a great bar always have a drink in there even if not staying.

To noisy”
For 60 quid a night, I would at least have expected to be able to get a decent sleep. The hotel need to improve the windows, in order to reduce some of the constant noise outside - all night long. This was not even a weekend... I had my window tightly closed but was kept awake by load music from across the road until 1.00am - then a constant stream of loud-mouthed drunks on their way home form the numerous night clubs in the area, until 6am. Then the place across the road started making a racket, emptying their bins from the night before... Not good.

Smart location when in Liverpool”
I stayed there only for one night, but the location was very smart for me. The breakfast was good and I slept well. The service was good and you will find the bar and the atmosphere very nice.

Lovely nights stay in liverpool”
Everything brill, yes it’s noisy but for 1 night when you’ve had a drink yourself it’s perfect and in a great location too. Wouldn’t really recommend to take children due to the street noise but couldn’t fault it any other way.

Lumpy Bed”
The location is great, convenient to everything, but the bed mattress was lumping. Had the worse night sleep ever. No matter what position that I slept in, I felt a lumps digging in my back. The noise from the bars and people on the street were bearable. I think the street cleaners made more noise in the morning. I left with very little sleep and an aching back.

Mainly okay, very handy for shops, pubs & restaurants etc. Very noisy till early hours as room was directly above bar. All in all good value for money. Spot on digs whilst working. A colleague did have a jacket go missing from his room which miraculously reappeared without explanation after he spoke with the manager.

Stayed two nights and spent minimal time in the hotel itself. The room was drab, the shower pane was missing from the side of the bath, and there was a lot of shouting from outside until four o'clock in the morning on both nights. Not an experience I would wish to repeat.
