Quiet out of the way location”

We had booked a de-luxe bungalow, and although the room was clean enough, it was somewhat "tired" and in need of refurbishment - it didn't look quite like the photos! Having travelled extensively in Thailand, we know that mattresses tend to be quite firm - which we prefer - however, the ones at Happiness Resort were like sleeping on concrete! There were a couple of new bungalows being built, but the resort had a general feeling of faded glory. Please note that if travelling in your own car, this place is somewhat hard to find.

Stay in tranqility ”

A nice , quiet place to stay by the River Kwai-Noi & among local Villages , green mountainous Scenery. Easy to travel to some another attractive places of Kanchanaburi. Recommendded.

Calm and nice place”

We were staying here for 3 days. Perfect place for anybody, who needs calmness. Very good place from where you can explore the sights of the region. (There are many of them.) To get here you'll need a car i think, because it's a bit far from the main road. The court is well-groomed and the rooms are clean according to other accommodations in this price. There's only one shop nearby, and it is not the best equipped. Highly recommended place.

Nice Resort by River Kwai - Noi ”

Nice resort locate among Nature & by River Kwai-Noi and with small pool, multi-choice for Room-Types good for Relax , even quite far from Downtown. Sure to stay here you need to own your rental or personal Car-- Anyway Good if you want to try & experience local Things -- Recommended

By-the-river hut”

It’s a hut on the bank of River Kwai. We had heard loud group tourists’ activities until 10 pm, when they stopped due to the time limit of loud activities. The breakfast serves were ended sooner than what we were told, probably due to a larger number of guests. The hut was run by the owner family.

I would not stay here ever again ”

It was not what I had read or I had expected, no food menu they just serve you up whatever they are cooking and they haven't got a word of English and its far away from anything

Ameisen und Spinnen”

Wir hatten bewusst statt eines Flusszimmers ein Zimmer auf dem Gelände (Bungalow) mit Klimaanlage gebucht. Als wir ankamen, war dann doch ein Flusszimmer für uns vorbereitet worden. Wir haben auf dem gebuchten Zimmer bestanden und wurden dann etwas außerhalb der eigentlich sehr schönen Resortanlage in einem Bungalow untergebracht. Leider war der aber kein bisschen vorbereitet.Er war offensichtlich schon länger nicht mehr gesäubert bzw. bewohnt worden. Es lagen viele tote Insekten auf dem Boden und wir hatten kein Toilettenpapier, was angesichts der sehr abgeschiedenen Lage des Bungalows etwas ungünstig war. Leider gab es in dem Zimmer auch viele lebende Insekten. Wir hatten eine größere Ameisenplage im Badezimmer und ein paar Spinnen waren auch am Start.Da wir aus logistischen Gründen doch länger blieben als gedacht, bekamen wir dann in den folgenden Tagen Toilettenpapier und die Terasse wurde auch mal gefegt. Am letzten Tag wurde sogar der Bungalow ein bisschen gesäubtert. Wir haben es mit Humor genommen, aber eigentlich würde ich mir für diesen Preis schon eine etwas bessere Leistung erhoffen. Angesichts der mangelnder Sprachkenntnisse (wir sprechen kein Thai) und der ständig wechselnden "Ansprechpartner" (die fast alle sehr nett waren), war es auch schwer möglich, sich vor Ort zu beschweren.

เข้าพัก ที่แพลอยน้ำ ดีอย่างเดียว คือ บรรยากาศ นอกนั้น ไม่มีสิ่งอำนวย ความสะดวกอะไรเลย พนักงานต้อนรับ ก็ชาวบ้าน มาก ๆ ไม่มีอาหาร ไม่มีอินเตอร์เน็ต ไกลจากร้านค้า พูดง่าย ๆ คือ เปลี่ยวมาก ๆ เงียบจน กลัวค่ะ วันที่เข้า เช็คอิน มีแค่ กรุ๊ฟเรา 5 คน ทั้งรีสอรต์ ดูวังเวงจริง ต้องไปเป็นหมู่คณะ เพราะ ส่วนตัว มาก ๆ และที่แพ น้ำเชี่ยว มาก ๆ ไม่สามารถ เล่นน้ำได้ เอาไป 1 ดาวแล้วกันค่ะ ดีอย่างเดียว บรรยากาศดีค่ะ
